The PDP charges the INEC to end its manipulative schemes and immediately declare the result of the March 9, 2019 Rivers state governorship election.

The PDP rejects the decision by @inecnigeria to suspend the electoral process in the state, after results have been collated.

The @OfficialPDPNig alerts that this is a premeditated plan by the APC-led Federal Government to use the instrument of @inecnigeria and security agencies to truncate the wishes of the Rivers people as already delivered at the polling units.

Our party contends that elections have been concluded in Rivers state; results of the Governorship &HoA polls have been declared at the various polling units, wards and LGA collation centers & all returning officers & political parties in the ballot conclusively have the figures.

It is therefore incumbent on @inecnigeria to declare the final results instead of deliberately creating openings for the subversion of the process; a development, which exposes the Commission’s complicity with @MBuhari & the APC to enmesh the election into unnecessary crisis.

Our party cautions @inecnigeria to note that a lot of innocent Nigerians have already been killed by @OfficialAPCNg in its desperation to forcefully take over Rivers state. The commission should therefore save the state from more bloodletting by immediately declaring the results

Furthermore, the @OfficialPDPNig calls on President @MBuhari to reflect on the bloodlettings that have characterized this election, which many Nigerians believe, would have been averted if he had signed the Amendment to the Electoral Act.

@MBuhari should immediately call the security agencies (who have been annexed as departments of the @OfficialAPCNg) to end their siege to our electoral process. Any further delay is a recipe for escalation of crisis in our nation.

I wonder why many of our public officials like to appear loose, dirty and untidy. There is one minister that symbolises this phenomenon in the current administration, he is heavily bearded, bogus and irritating.

Must Nigerian politicians and public officials put on agbada/babariga, tall caps and eye glasses/ sun glasses? What are they trying to hide from the general public? I recall one lawmaker ( Abdul-something) who stuck dollars under his tall cap. One politician recently hid dollars under his flowing gown. I think it's high time we began challenging them to dress simple and smart for transparency. Enough of this big man mentality that only encourage corruption , sluggishness and waste.

It was a traffic scene that featured a Fire Service Vehicle.

Ostensibly, It was on an emergency run.

Its lights were flickering and the siren blaring.

Yet, it somehow succeeded in being stuck in a traffic gridlock along the Surulere Industrial Road/Adeniyi Jones road in Ikeja.

No motorist on that route seemed the least interested in giving way for the emergency vehicle to pass.

Sadly, the time was around 8 am, on a Monday morning – one of the most notorious rush hour periods in Lagos state.

For all we know, the Fire service truck could have been racing to a building that is being consumed by inferno.

The emergency vehicle was eventually left with no choice but to exercise patience and then go with the traffic flow.

This begs the salient question: why do we find it difficult to spare a minute to grant emergency vehicles access in traffic?

Are we that much in a hurry to get to our destinations in Lagos?

Or could it be distrust because of often abuse of such privileges by emergency workers?

Bishop David Oyedepo, General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, aka, Winners Chapel International, has vehemently condemned the 2019 general/presidential elections which saw President Muhammadu Buhari of All Progressive Congress, APC, reclaim his office, defeating shamelessly, his toughest rival, Atiku Abubakar of People’s Democratic Party, PDP. According to the Bishop, the election was massively rigged.

Speaking during the Sunday service at his Church in Ota, Ogun State, Bishop Oyedepo prayed against a possible war outbreak in the course of conducting the remaining elections while he also condemned the violence and manipulations which were part of the voting in some polling units.

Bishop Oyedepo further added that, “Other developed countries around the world have developed their method of voting into a digitalised method but it’s a shame that in Nigeria we still queue up to vote and somebody will still be intimidated by thugs. With this, it’s a shame how politicians in this part of the world are proud of elections marred with rigging.”

In his prayer against a possible bloodbath in the forthcoming governorship and house of assembly general elections to be head on Saturday, he said, “Every spirit of thuggery in Nigeria shall be silenced and every force that will not Nigeria rest shall be laid to rest and silenced forever.”

However, the controversial OAP and leader of the Free Nations in Christ, aka, Free The Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze has as usual attacked the Bishop, implying he is contradicting the believe of a pastor, the Vice President Yemi Osibanjo who had claimed their victory was achieved through the help of God and that the elections were not rigged as widely believed.
