ramdris: So person can't even find forgiveness in church again? Hian!. So the Pastor could not tell them the story of "he that has not sinned should cast the first stone" That is where the hypocrisy of the church is. Pastors preach to their members that forgiveness is limitless. If the thief had broken into the house or office of a neighbor, the pastor would have said that the victim is a powerless christian or he is not a "believer" or because he is not worshiping a living God. The day of reckoning is near. |

metronaija: Shops at Ladipo market in Mushin today were demolished. Armed men and officials suspected to be working for Mushin Local government and supported by a team of policemen invaded Ladipo Auto Spare Parts market in the early hours and carried out the exercise.
As they demolished the shops, traders were barred from entering the market to remove their goods from the shops as the armed men were battle ready to forestall any resistance from the traders as demolitions were on-going. The traders have however started protesting the demolition and had moved to the Mushin council secretariat to complain of what they allege as illegal demolition.
http://www.metronaija.com/2015/06/photos-ladipo-auto-spare-parts-market.html The next thing the government should demolish are churches and mosques situated within residential areas on account of the nuisance they constitute to peace loving and peace deserving nigerians. |

APC already told us via sanusi during campaign how much was missing. By now, I expect many people to be in jail. Till date, apc is still telling us money is missing as if they didn't say so during campaign. Arrest these people now. Prosecute them and recover this loot. But wait.....Apc is setting up a political committe to probe money missing from NNPC. committe comprising of only APC governors. Not technocrat. Not forensic expert. Not even non partisan financial expert. What do I expect el rufai to say about jonathan? To exonerate him abi? The report of the committee is dead on arrival. The partisan nature of the committee members shows that buhari is not ready for a serious business. Just playing to the gallery to gain time. This CHANGE is a FRAUD With this type of opinion expressed on public forum, it clearly shows that many nigerians dont wish this country well. Why do Nigerians keep applying this 'wisdom' in a senseless way?
Are you aware that if the man is brought down now, he would surely expose the rogues in the camp of his enemies who would also be brought down and overall, Nigerian masses would be the winners when several rogues (irrespective of their camp) are brought down?...
Any sensible Nigerian with an iota of wisdom should encourage and not discourage this cycle of our collective oppressors exposing themselves. You don't belong to the group of every day nairalanders who come to the forum with a huge luggage of ignorance and temerity. |

obailala: Okay the man has always been a thief but no one cared to do anything about it. Now someone who is in disagreement with him has decided to expose the man but Nigerians in their usual Nigerian manner have decided to attack the motive behind exposing him and then go ahead to defend the thief.
Nigerians are funny, we cry that our leaders are thieves when it suits us, but when it doesnt suit us politically, we willingly forgive the person, dismiss the case and then defend the thief with the last drop of our blood even if damning evidence is brought out against the person.
Nigerians truly deserve the kind of government and leadership it gets. Though majority of nigerians , especially on nairaland would fit into your description but people like you and I do not deserve bad government. I think what is unfolding now is good for our democracy as it would make more space available to all nigerians living without criminal antecedents. |
Christianity Etc › Re: 10 Reasons Why Lagosians Go To Church On Sundays by akoaki(m): 7:39pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
Orikinla: But majority of Nigerian "Christians" are powerless Christians, because they don't have the Holy Spirit. They don't have the Holy Spirit, because of their dishonest and hypocritical lifestyles and they prefer to live in denial than to repent. Anyone without the Holy Spirit cannot be a powerful believer. That is why majority of Nigerians who go to church still live in fear every day. The horrible things happening in Nigeria in the Middle Belt and northern states have been caused by the hypocrisy of Nigerian Christians whose prayers have failed, because God does not answer the prayers of sinners. Moreover, they pray selfish prayers for their self gratification, egos and vanities. While Nigeria is like a house on fire, majority of Nigerians are not praying to God to put out the fire, but praying selfish and stupid prayers for new cars, new houses, million dollar contracts, multiple entry American visa, British visa and other things they call miracles. How many of them are praying to God to rescue the innocent children suffering in the war against Boko Haram? How many churches have joined the Red Cross and Red Crescent and others to help the millions of Nigerians suffering as refugees and IDPs? They are just fooling themselves in conceit and deceit, because they cannot fool the Almighty God. Fellow nigerian, please wake up. What has prayer got to do with the general welfare of nigeria citizens ? What most of us are asking from God in our long prayers are the things our government is supposed to provide or make easily affordable for us ;things like food, shelter, education, employment, security, health care, old age care and so on. Jesus and muhammed have no business providing these needs for mankind. That is why most church goers don't receive 'reply' to their prayers. But those greedy and wicked pastors have instilled fears in the minds of their followers that not attending church programmes is a grave sin punishable by God. They have not said so because they themselves love Him or fear Him but because the more the people that come to church services, the fatter their bank accounts. Dear children of God, please wake up and deliver yourselves from these slave masters called " men of god" and deal directly with your God who is ready to establish direct relationship with His children. Faith or worship is an individual responsibility. |

Nigerians are mentally lazy and unwilling to seek new knowledge. We tend to view issues from the position of ignorance by ascribing spiritual explanations to physical challenges. Nigeria has continued to fail not because of a certain festival but because our past and present leaders have not served us well; the various regimes have failed to give efficient and effective governance and the citizenry has been complicit due to their persistent docility and complacency. |

Miracles are an illusion , meaning that they are non-existent in the present. God do answers prayers but not in the manner these wicked and greedy pastors have presented it to their gullible congregations. If your prayer aligns with God's will for you, it will be answered at His own time. Even though the pastors know this but they continue to deny their followers the correct knowledge for their own selfish reasons. Therefore, if you live your life expecting miracles , you are sure to end up in penury, unless the Lord eventually intervene in your situation. |

Jesus loves and cares for the op but the pastors who are supposed to be the eye and image of Jesus do not love their followers judging by the way they milk them dry, torment and harass them with lies, and teach them principles that do no prepare them to face the real challenges of modern life. Many christians have been deceived to believe that god will do all things according to what they ask in their prayers. This is a fallacy and it contradicts the scripture of 'work and pray'. And not just any work but hard work. Many of today's christians don't even realise that prayer without hard work would bring acute poverty. Pastors and imams know this fact but they would not willingly share it with their ever-gullible congregation. It is very sad. |

Singapore and Japan did not adopt the prayer model to achieve social-economic advancement; not even malaysia to mention just a few. Some of us know those who are playing the card of prayer and religion to impoverish the citizenry. Nigerians must wake up and take their lives back from these wicked oppressors of our nation. |

If a man could maintain a bag as old as this, still looking very presentable and neat; I wonder how wonderfully well he will maintain his household equipments, electronics, utensils and infact larger infrastructures like roads, bridges, refineries etc.
