For SPDC to have sold all their onshore stakes to the Renaissance Africa, I knew Nigeria had really collapsed under Tinubu. The tax credit would now go to who...Shell that had sold almost everything to Renaissance ? Let's see how it goes. What baffles me is the way Tinubu's mypic followers are being deceived each time.
Another nonsense talk. Spdc started selling everything from PDP time

Bala Wunti is so close to Tantita Security Services, I know for sure.

I wonder with all the dollars, he couldn't win the primary election?

Bala wunti is controversial and left NNpc so. Senator Shehu is also strong but I believe the best person APC has is Mohammed Abdullahi and having only one term is an advantage

You captured it succinctly. Several examples exists. Elrufai and Uba Sani. Ganduje and Abba Kabir. He attempted Shettima and Zullum but failed. Akume and Allia. Reno Omokri, Daniel Bwala. The list go on and on. This is why he himself is very suspicious and always paranoid.
You talk carelessly and childishly. Did Tinubu betray Akume for Alia? Who did Tinubu betray in Bauchi? Should I mention Atiku own? Was El rufai not originally with Atiku

PoliticsEx-Gombe Senator Nafada Quits PDP After Meeting APC Leaders by Akpakomiza2(op): 3:19pm On Jul 14
Former Senator representing Gombe North Senatorial District and ex-Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Usman Bayero Nafada, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He cited the party’s lingering internal crisis and leadership disputes.

Nafada, also a former PDP governorship candidate in Gombe State, announced his decision in a resignation letter dated July 12, 2026, addressed to the Chairman of the PDP in Nafada East Ward, Nafada Local Government Area of Gombe State.

The letter, seen by LEADERSHIP, was acknowledged by the ward chairman on July 13, 2026.

In the letter titled “Letter of Resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)”, Nafada said his decision followed a comprehensive review and assessment of recent developments within the opposition party.

“Following a comprehensive review and assessment of recent political developments within the PDP, particularly the internal crises which has led to factionalization and conflicting claims of leadership,” he wrote.

The former senator stated that he was resigning from the party with immediate effect. “I hereby write formally to notify you of my resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect,” the letter read.

Despite his decision to leave, Nafada expressed appreciation to the PDP for providing him with the platform through which he built his political career over the past two decades.

“I wish to appreciate the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for providing me with the platform upon which I build a solid political structure for the past two decades. I remain deeply grateful to all for the trust, support and opportunities accorded to me.”

Nafada served as Speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2007 and 2011, and later represented Gombe North Senatorial District in the Senate. He also flew the PDP flag in the 2019 Gombe State governorship election after previously serving in the National Assembly under both the ANPP and APC before aligning with the PDP.

His resignation came barely a day after the National APC Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, paid him a courtesy visit at his residence alongside Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, the APC’s 2027 governorship candidate, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, and Arc. Yunusa Yakubu.

After the visit, Nentawe said their discussions focused on unity, peace, stability, and the future of Gombe State, stressing that leaders have a shared responsibility to work together regardless of political affiliation. He added that the progress of Gombe State must always come before partisan considerations, while reaffirming their commitment to building bridges that would strengthen democracy and advance the state’s development.

Nafada, however, is yet to officially announce his next political destination or formally declare for any party, despite the indications that he may be heading to the ruling All Progressives Congress

Eriokanmi:
Dynamics have changed greatly. This is 2026, not 2023. Check northerners who had been speaking against Obi and tell me which party they pay allegiance to. You don't expect me to support obi and be praising tinubu. That's the beauty of democracy. My blood brother is apc, you see? A lot that had happened in 2023 which had swayed some voters towards a particular candidat will totally change in 2027. If you said I'd do abc and im capable of achieving something due to my experience but you didnt just fail but failed woefully, those who trusted your word and voted you won't do the same again.
Northerners don't do party, they are swayed by religion and ethnicity when it comes to politics. I have asked you to mention northerners speaking in favour of Obi apart from those in NDC. The dynamics have changed but not for Obi. Obi has lost a section of the northern christians and SS voters to Tinubu. Even many neutral voters are disappointed. He is mostly left with obidients. Obi chances of doing well in core north is just like Tinubu chances in SE. Even if Tinubu runs with Otti, nothing for him. A place that gave you 5k votes will not change in 4 years
PoliticsRe: Peter Is Biafra Sympathizer - Arewa Youth Consultative Forum President by Akpakomiza2: 2:08pm On Jul 14
Eriokanmi:
So, are you still in 2023? Is Kwakwanso still in his former party today? You'll see shocking drama, don't worry. It's time for the north to pay Kwakwanso back for his loyalty, especially with the single term agenda. It's his turn after obi. Check those attacking obi among northerners. They pay allegiance to the apc, which is normal. Everyone will talk in support of their party. Even if Kwakwanso popularity or relevance doesn't go beyond Kano according to you, their votes can conveniently swallow 3 states votes in the south but I see him winning beyond Kano. Fingers crossed
Which notable northerners has spoken in favour of Obi apart from Buba Galadima the clown? It is either APC or ADC. What has kwankwaso sacrificed that he will be repaid? Is he the candidate? Even in Kano, a cross section of his supporters have rejected obi. In 2023, kwankwaso won Tinubu with 450k in Kano. Common sense and logic shows obi will struggle in Kano.
Kwankwaso didn't win beyond Kano, which other states will he win in core north as a vice abeg? Even a mad man knows the core north abhor anything SE less someone like obi they see as a religious bigot. Obi in 2023 got 5k votes in sokoto, this time it will be 10k. There's no pathway for obi.

I'm not surprised. He's an apc apologist. He's looking for a position under Tinubu when his tenure ends as the ACF leader . His associates once made this move but it didn't work out. Everyone is looking for what to eat.

What political relevance has he in the north?Kwakwanso will take care of him. Iwofa lenu.

Lol, kwankwaso relevance is not beyond Kano. This guy and sheriff are saying the same thing, obi will be buried in the core north come 2027. Even kwankwaso said the north doesn't want obi in 2023

The National Secretary of the Seyi Makinde-backed and Turaki faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Taofeek Arapaja, has dumped the party.

Following his resignation from the party, Arapaja met with the Oyo State All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate, Sharafadeen Alli ahead of his defection to the APC.

Arapaja had reportedly met with President Bola Tinubu as consultations over his proposed defection into the APC.

He is a former deputy governor of Oyo State and National Deputy Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

At the time of filing this report, Governor Makinde has not made any comment on the development.

PoliticsNasarawa Senator Onavo Dumps ADC For APM by Akpakomiza2(op): 8:18am On Jul 08
The Senator representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Sen. Ogoshi Onawo, has formally defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), citing internal challenges within his former party.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Onawo’s letter of defection was read by Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, who presided over the plenary on Tuesday.

In the letter, Onawo said his resignation from ADC took effect from June 15, following what he described as careful reflection and extensive consultations with his constituents, political associates and other key stakeholders.

He explained that his decision was informed by the ‘prevailing circumstances’ within the party.

Onawo said such issues included internal structure and ongoing legal disputes which, according to him, no longer provided the cohesion, support and enabling environment needed for him to effectively represent his constituents.

The lawmaker said he had consequently joined APM to continue pursuing his mandate and thanked his supporters and well-wishers for their trust and cooperation.

Following the announcement, Sen. Aminu Tambuwal (ADC-Sokoto) acknowledged that Onawo had exercised his constitutional right to freedom of association by leaving ADC.

According to Tambuwal, democracy thrives on the freedom of citizens and political office holders to associate with parties of their choice.

He wished the senator well in his new political platform.

Barau, while commenting on the development, said it was ironic that ADC, which had projected itself as a strong opposition platform, was already witnessing defections before fully consolidating.

Barau’s remarks, however, drew an objection from Tambuwal, who urged him to remain non-partisan while presiding over plenary.

Responding, Barau said he had taken the advice but maintained that as the presiding officer, he was also entitled to offer guidance during proceedings.

Which land does Anambra have?
Anambra is the second smallest state in terms of landmass after Lagos.
Obi focused more on Industrializing the state. under him, more than 40 industries both local and international opened their branches in the state. And then SMEs.

Since many of u always come here to claim ignorance when it comes to Obi, towards the end of his tenure, he started the vegetable export program that Obiano continue on, in 2015/2016, Anambra became the first state in Nigeria to export vegetables to Europes despite been the second smallest state in landmass in the country
You lie, anambra north has heavy agric potentials but he neglected it until Soludo came. Anambra was heavily industrialized and commercialized before obi came. Obi increased unemployment, poverty and insecurity. Apart from next and hero beer obi brought no business to anambra l.

That is not how capacity is measured. He has little opposition just like Oyebanji in Ekiti. Watch how what will happen in Osun where there is stiff opposition.
