The All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked Adesoji Adedeji as running mate for its gubernatorial election flagbearer, Sharafadeen Ali for the 2027 polls.

APC unveiled Adedeji for the position less than 24 hours after the party’s national secretariat filed both names on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal stating that the party held a forum and decided to support them in achieving victory in the elections.

The occasion held in Ibadan on Thursday, also settled speculations over possible substitutions among the party’s nominees, with all APC candidates for various elective positions in attendance.

Adedeji, 46, is an Economics graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University. He is an indigene of Iwo Ate in Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area of Oyo State, and is said to be the brother of Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS).
