kernel504: This is why Igbos we never trust Yorubas. You've been marketing Buhari before election till now, but because his policies didn't favour the West, you've become defamatory.
When Igbos were speaking against Buhari, the West tagged us bigotry, haters and losers. Now what is the West?
Thirdly, I've been following you lately, you've been advocating for a united Southern front after betraying the South is a capital NO. May God bless you... For now, they have systematically stopped calling us "wailing wailler" Nigeria will never be one, because we're not one. We will only claim to be one. |

Clinton9000: It's obvious this government has a scripted plan to marginalize and strangle Igbos to death. What these mofos don't understand is the more you marginalize Igbos, the more successful they get to be. The APC led federal government is a complete joke and a monumental disaster, who even tell you that Buhari has any plans for the South. Do you still hear of the Ogoni land clean up again? Do you still remember Buhari's China visits and how Nigerians will start using yuan instead of American dollars. Its all propaganda, but we are watching. |

He thinks by military power he can control the niger delta..the region has gone past threats and even death..negotiation is the key..
With new proven reserves being appraised in the niger delta I hope buhari can see that the niger delta is still willing to feed the country if only he can bring himself down to talk to the people he claims he is leading.. You made a little mistake up there. The Niger Deltan "Military" owns the Crocodile Tears, While their Nigerian counterpart has crocodile smile. |

CliffordOrji: The Oil well belong to we Igbos. Bayelsa state is no mans land The Igbos are one of the most beautiful and wise ethnic group in Nigeria. That's why the Niger Delta will always stand by them and support Biafra. In the next 50 years, 80% of Lagos population will be Igbos, as the Yorubas will keep salling their properties to them and relocate to more cheaper areas in Ibadan. Presently, the igbos own close to 50% of total properties in Lagos. Lagos is turning to the sixth state of Igbos. |

cos everyone in the world now sees that region as one of the deadliest area in the world
you guys have already create that impression on everyone's mind - just mark my words! niger delta will remain a slum forever! I just wonder how is ur business to tell us how we should live our lives. The land and the oil is ours. pls, don't tell us what to do with it. oil is very sweet, when the Niger Delta are ready for business, the oil companies will come back. we shall guarantee them of a proper security that the "Northern Nigeria Government" can't give them. |

My fear for Tinubu is that, the DSS may try to discover an unexisting 2 million dollars in his bedroom, by so doing, Tinubu may find himself in Kirikiri Maximum Prison. The North will turn against him, SS and SE will first wait to see the best way to fellow, While the South West will be deeply divided on Tinubu issues... any government that will ever emerged that hate the ss and se will surely go the way of Buhari' government. we own 80% of the economy power in Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Muslims Kick Against Christian/Christian Ticket In Ondo State by Akpan107(m): 7:15am On Oct 10, 2016 |
ColdHeatt: Check the Middle Belt; anywhere the Christians have a population advantage, they occupy both Gov and Dep-Gov offices. Plateau and Benue on point here. Where Muslims are more, they give the Deputy to Christians. Nasarawa, Kwara, Kogi and even Kaduna in NorthWest attest. Niger has Muslim-Muslim just this once. Let's try to feel how the minorities feel. Muslims are up to 35% in Ondo State. Plateau state is 99.9% Christians population, most Muslims you see in plateau are strangers from kano and the rest of the Northern state. Benue is 100% Christians. Taraba is 90% Christians, that is another reason why a muslim as never won an election there. Kwara is 50% Kaduna is 70, where you will mostly see muslims is zaria. Nasarawa is 70% Kogi is 50% and 90% of the Yoruba kaba are Christians. Niger is 30 and they have never given a Christian deputy governor. i have not even talk of Bauchi, Borno Adamawa, katsina and the rest. |
Politics › Re: Muslims Kick Against Christian/Christian Ticket In Ondo State by Akpan107(m): 6:52am On Oct 10, 2016 |
awelekiti: I'm half Ondo, half Ekiti and if you call me an indigene of old Ondo State, you're not wrong. Most of the Muslims in Ekiti are visitors from the neighbouring kwara and osun, who came to settle amongst us. There's no ancestral Muslim indigene in Ekiti. In Ondo state, the only area where you can find a handful of Muslim is Ondo town, especially the area where gov mimiko hails from. Most of his family members, including the governor are converted Muslims, except his brother who's professor. We have a few of them from owo too and the number cannot decide the outcome of election in ondo, even if the Muslim non-indigenes joined force with them. However, Christian or Muslim it doesn't matter because we're ever united in the state. The call for religious matter in political decision shouldn't arise in the first place. All we need is a good candidate that can serve us well. The only Yoruba state one can find a good number of Muslims is Osun state. if i'm not mistaken, 70 to 75% of total number of Yorubas are Christians. |
