Boko and their sponsors violate the right to life of innocent nigerians, yet theyy want their right to freedom of association, worship, and movement to be protected. Which is greater? Now the real bokko haram are talking. I wish he could say he has come for negotiation or for aamnesty. Fool |
This moment calls for collaborative efforts of northerrn stakeholders to end this insecurity. This is the time the ACF and NEF should have used to lure those insurgents to lay down their weapon, noting that the game is over, while also sensitising others on the need for a peaceful society. They won't do that cos they enjoy media reports on the death of nigerians and the destructions of Govt infrastructures and installations. Afterall, their sole desire is to make the polity ungovernable. #TeamEmergencyRule |
I strongly suggest that the Northern elders forum and the Arewa Consultative Forum should be proscribbed as well. These bodies are lacking in rationality. |
These are their operatives in London. Some of them are using the placard to cover their faces so as to avoid recognition. This isn't a mobile protest, these bunch of terrorist just wrote some jargons and went to the back of their residence, had their photo taken and posted it online. If they want to protest, let them go and apply formally, obtain the perMit from london police and take to the street and lets find out if the london police won't raid their homes the nxt day in search of arms. Fools.they want to spoil ouur countrym let them go and sell their sedar trees, and mahogamy, king David ku ku no dey alive again ![]() |

Someone that publicly avers that he is a noise maker must not be taken seriously. He is morally deficient |
againstGEJ: People like this OP constitute the problem in Nigeria.as the thread suggest, its just like an opinion pool sir, where u can express ur opinion about D ongoing operation. To a large extent, the operation has been successful, given absence of civilian casualties. That's my opinion. Secondly, I believe the military needs our support now more that ever before. Stakeholders in these areas must cooperate with the STF to rid our society of terrorism |
I doubt in my heart. Failure if u ask me. Datz all ![]() |
I heard the Nigerian Army asked applicants to pay #2500 for application forms into their Direct Short Service. Is it right for youths struggling for survival to be extorted by govt establishment? And most times, 95% of these applicants don't end Up getting the job. Is this a global practices? Ur view pls |
I just d laf for Efik language ![]() |
Why should they monitor me? I should be able to vent my opinion and displeasure unhindered. Shikenah |
Many seem to have down played the report that the sect members used RPMG which subsequently set houses with thatched roofs ablazed. We all know the mandate of the JTF is to restore sanity to the troubled area. Consequently, they cannot kill the lives they are meant to protect by law. The media sensationlisation of the incident adds credence to the claim that those who earlier demanded for the withdrawal of JTF are bent on seeing them rooted out, no matter what. The report further confirms the saying that if u want to kill a dog, u give it a bad name. How many houses do we have in Baga that 2000 will be burn in a night and 185 killed? These are gimmicks meant to vilify military forces working assiduously for the restoration of order. Who knows what The north would have turned into without the JTF, maybe that would have become northern Mali. It's not all report that must be accepted wholistically, we must critically review same before sharing. |

This one will certainly knock them out. What a blow |
1) the ACN, is notorious for outsourcing its presidential candidate from the ranks of the same PDP 2) the administration of Tinubu in Lagos State was characterised by labour crisis and it never attain 60 per cent budget implementation. 3) The proposed merger is an “incongruous alliance of political weaklings, ,dysfunctional Lilliputians and repeatedly frustrated political power mongers.” 4) when Bisi Akande was the governor of Osun State, workers were denied N5,500 minimum wage. The Akande regime laid off over 9,000 workers during its four years in office that “Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who was then Nigeria Labour Congress President and now Governor of Edo State led workers on protest in Osun during the period but Chief Akande remained adamant. Where then is the credential of these people to talk about job creation, promotion of workers interest and democratic etiquette?.” |
I'm happy the list is spread accross board. Most importantly that it captured those that have been critical of FG position. let's see what they have to offer |
Most times when comparison is made, one begins to see clearly the deficiencies that characterize a persons life and work towards addressing same. Today, nigerians politicians are often regarded as corrupt, though some good and morally upright personalities still exist. Now, between Oby Ezekwesili and Okonjo-Iweala who is ur ideal govt official, having held various govt positions in the country? |
Many things make a man attractive. While artists like Inyanya are celebrated today cos of about 3 hit singles, his body physique endears him to many. 2face is a good singer but does he possess a good body statue too? Or has he resumed gyming lessons |
I need the rejected amnesty |

I feel the nigerian police is our nunber one problem. They've institutionalised corruption, inefficiency, lethargic attitude, incompetence; they are now the enemy of the people. They work only where there is quick cash to be made. |
nairawall: Amnesty will not work with Boko Haram. Their struggle is ideological in nature. Accepting the amnesty is abandoning the tenets of their faith or religious conviction.I agree with U on the ideological issue, but too say that accepting it means abandoning the tenets of their religion is where I find it difficult to swallow. Islam didn't say islamize other religion neither did it say bomb and kill defenseless people for no just cause. Let's hope the northern leaders that clamoured for it will make it work, else Gej should use ultimate force |

Lets see what the committee will come up with. If it yields no result then... |
Let's wait and see, the suspicion will soon be confirmed |

No doubt, Prof Ayade and Victor Ndoma Egba are sound and intelligent Senators from Cross River north and Cross River Central respectively. One however expects that their soundness, intelligence, positions in the house, and relationships with top politicians will translate into tangible projects especially considering the goodwill they enjoy. Prof Ayade was massively supported to dethrone one Ogbola senator reputed for speechlessness. Ndoma is serving his third or fourth term. But all these haven't translated into any meaningful developmental stride. I'm a brother from a sister state though based in the state, and each time I hear them complain, I feel sorry for them. Among the complains I'm inundated with are, their inability to consult with the people, inability of the duo to attract government attention to the place. Majorly, the Calabar- Ikom - Ogoja road is reputed to be the worst road in the country and they are sleeping about it. Although the road lamely boast as one of the oldest(was popularly used during the missionary and colonial era), it's fame now lies in ability to cause accident. A journey from Calabar to Ogoja that normally takes 3hrs 30mins now take up to 7hours. Just yesterday, the federal executive council approved over 47.8billion nairaland for the construction of new roads, as well as the rehabilitation of existing ones. This Calabar Ikom and Ogoja road was not listed, necessitating the question what are these senators doing? na so una people go dey dey? |
