I'm beginning to reason with FFK. We've tried all other options and they seem not to be working. One thing. Nigerians agree on is that the country needs change, unfortunately it hasn't come through peaceful means. We need to rethink our approach and adopt something workable If the government of the day is docile and comfortable the citizens must put them on d edge. Youths must wake up and regain this country |
ysani1:U mean they are foolish? No na, that was too harsh. Maybe they need a bit of education |
gidgiddy:Hehehehe the thing pain this ipob well well. When Asari was supporting Biafra, you didn't ask for evidence on how South South became part of Biafra. When he was canvassing for the release of Kanu u didn't ask for evidence from him that Kanu was actually innocent. Now that he was bold enough to challenge him, evidence is required. Isokay. When ur hero promises to continue to release porn, u didn't see Anything wrong with it. Well I'm waiting for the episode 2. What was of interest in episode 1 video was when Kanu said he was taking it jejely in order not to make her cry or feel pains. That guy must be one bad guy for him to be causing vaginal pain. That man didn't leave the comfort of his home in London to agitate for Biafra. People leave US to come and do business in Nigeria. That was what he did. He built on the gullibility of people from the east and it paid off. Niga has disappeared to enjoy his loot or proceed |

celeiyke:When IPOB listed Rivers as one of the States in Biafra, did we get a very strong reactions from there? When he was planning his rally in Port Harcourt, was there any strong opposition? when it suits us, we agree, when the table turns, we change the goal post |

In line with INEC timetable for the 2019 general elections, political campaigns have begun, with various political parties and candidates unveiling their policy frameworks and mantras. While Atiku says he wants to get Nigeria working again, President Buhari of the APC promises to take Nigeria to the next level. The battle towards winning crucial regions especially the South-East and South-West has also started. Atiku has already picked Peter Obi as Vice President to appease the Igbos, while promising the Yorubas the position of SGF. In Atiku's thinking, he cares and loves the Igbos more and thus should be voted massively in the region. I beg to disagree. Giving Igbos VP doesn't translate to love. It goes beyond zoning the position to the region and that is the reason why some governors are kicking against his candidature. Recall that his choice of Obi was arrived at without due consultation of critical stakeholders in the region, a move that demonstrates how unimportant he considers them. Atiku has shown from the word go that he cannot be trusted. Firstly, he said he would do a single term of 4yrs, but his policy document marshaled out plans covering over 6yrs. That means Atiku is already contemplating second term, a decision that would again deny the Igbos Presidency in 2023. Atiku, in his desperation for power, promised many people the VP slot both in the South-West and South-East, just to secure their support. He thereafter broke their hearts and settled on Obi. How then can he be trusted with one term? If he claims to be instrumental to the frustration of the third term bid of Obasanjo, is there no possibility that he could use his experience to perpetuate himself in office? Atiku's businesses are mostly in the West and Niger Delta, won't he abandon the Igbos for these region's after elections? Buhari on the other hand has sent his SGF to meet with stakeholders in the region, promising them support in 2023. He also hosted Igbo governors and other stakeholders at the villa recently. He is spearheading the construction of the Second Niger Bridge, a contract Jonathan awarded for political capital. His key ministers are from the region including the Ministers of Labour and Employment; Foreign Affairs; Science and Technology; Petroleum; State for Education; and Trade and Investment. The Igbo must now choose between waiting for additional 8yrs (ATIKU) or play the politics of 4 is greater and better than 8. @lalasticlala

NOC1:na u give her membership card? |
So South West and East think power will not go to South South abi? It's simple, after Buhari's 4 remaining years, Jonathan will come and complete his remaining 4years. The Afonjas and Biafrans can then struggle |

The debate has been gaining ascendancy in recent times on social media, on the streets, and where ever two or more Nigerians gather to discuss the drama of the absurd playing out in the polity. The word out there by many is that the Senate President is a serial traitor who regularly plots betrayals with the ‘enemy’ to achieve his selfish ambition. Immediately after the swearing-in of President Muhammadu Buhari , on 29th may 2015, Saraki’s loyalty to the ruling APC became questioned by elements in his Party and Nigerians. This followed his controversial emergence as Senate President in a Mafioso manner behind the back of his fellow APC senators who were billed to hold a meeting with President Buhari as a prelude to the inauguration of the Senate. Since then, the Kwara-born politician has been in the eye of the storm. The National Assembly has also not known peace. What is the root of the rage? Saraki had led a group of like-minded minority senators to defy his Party’s instruction to emerge as President of the Senate, ahead of Ahmad Lawan who was the Party’s choice. To complicate the matter even the more, another Senator from the rival PDP, Senator Ike Ekweremandu, emerged from the ruins of his Party’s defeat to become the Deputy Senate President. Public commentators and politcal observers became riled that a Party that has been defeated at the 2015 elections could surreptitiously find its way to the top echelon of the Senate leadership through the connivance of a man with ostensibly an inordinate ambition. An ambition which emerged recently with the defection of Saraki to the opposition- PDP, and his insistence on retaining the position of Senate President despite being in the minority Party. Following this incidence, Saraki’s character and personality came under intense scrutiny. Intriguing questions constantly came to the minds of most Nigerians, albeit is Saraki not a traitor? Why does he pursue paths that conflict with his close associate? Is this the first incidence of betrayal by Saraki? A cursory glance into the political history of the Senate President will indicate that it is tainted with incidence of betrayals and mischief. Some of these are highlighted below; - His greed and lust for power is extremely nauseating. This was a man who betrayed his father who was both his financial and political benefactor by fielding the incumbent governor, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed who was then his Chief of Staff against his younger sister, Gbemi Saraki, the choice of the then Strongman of Kwara politics. A development which may have hastened the death of the father a year after the election; - His next act of betrayal was on former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Saraki led the pack of several PDP Senators who decamped to the APC in 2014, just as he has done to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018; - His role in the crash of Societe General Bank which turned many investors into overnight paupers is also an incidence worthy of mention; and - Finally , current insistence of staying put as the President of the Senate despite not belonging to the party with majority is the biggest betrayal to democracy, and democratic consolidation in Nigeria. The worst thing to have happened to the Nigerian National Assembly was the emergence of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki as its Chairman and Senate President. My heart bleeds that he is occupying the same position once held by the Great Zik of Africa, Akweke Abyssinia Akweke Nwafor Orizu, Dennis Chukwudebe Osadebay, Joseph Wayas, Dr. Wilberforce Chuba Okadigbo, Ken Nnamani who saved this nation from the sinister Olusegun Obasanjo led third term agenda and David Bonaventure Alechenu Mark who blocked the western liberal imperialist same sex marriage agenda. A traitor will always be a traitor, whatever the time and place. The Senate must do everything possible to put Dr. Saraki where he rightly belongs – the back seat. He is definitely not a fit and proper person to preside over the country’s upper and revered legislative house. In the words of Steve Maraboli , author and motivational speaker, “The knives of betrayal and drama cut deep and hurt… but they also trim away the nonsense and reveal your true friends.” Bukola Saraki has betrayed many in his journey to political stardom, but his acts have also revealed to Nigerians who he truly is . As the 2019 elections draw closer, well meaning Nigerians are definitely united towards ensuring that Serial Traitors do not get anywhere close to the seat of power again. Collation of results in the ongoing Ekiti governorship election is ongoing and nothing appears to be said about INEC, except one of the officials who was attacked by thugs in Emure LGA for resisting attempts to snatch election materials. On Thursday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Prof. AbdulGaniy Raji, disclosed that non-sensitive materials were distributed to the 16 LGAs with security agencies escorting same. INEC vehicles deployed for the purpose reportedly returned to base same day. Sensitive materials were thereafter deployed with no party alleging irregularities on the part of INEC. Today, as promised, accreditation and voting started on time with huge turn out at some units. Electoral officers were seen defending materials with some sustaining injuries in the process. The card reader too appears to have been upgraded as minimal cases of failure were recorded. As the 2019 general elections draw closer, kindly rate INEC using #Ekiti as a paradigm. The rating should be from 1 to 5 where 5 represent the highest possible mark and 1 the lowest possible mark. Pls be objective as best as your can

Yet-to-be identified hoodlums have reportedly stormed the National Assembly and seized the Maze of the Senate. The race is now gaining steam. Sowore has not made his own appointment. He's still speaking by and for himself. What Buhari has done shows that he will be very quick in making appointments by 2019. No delays anymore. He's on d fast lane. |
