Someone is just 1 month in government and you want him to have turned things around so quickly (America, UK, Canada, UAE standard), is governance a game of magic; "Let there be light and there was light"? "Let there be good roads instantly nationwide"? "Let all Nigerians be gainfully employed instantly"? "Let $1 = #1 instantly"? "Let minimum wage be #200k instantly" - without doing appraisal on the current level of assets, debt, liabilities, revenue and ability of States, LGA and even private sector to pay such minimum wage even if FG can pay its workers!!! We need to get sense in Nigeria; things are really hard, but it shouldn't affect our thinking faculty please!!! God1000: |
But bro, it is only a brain d£@d & lunàt!c person will be taking nude pics at over 70years of age naa🤷. And wishing destruction on her nation!!! Also you cannot be a Senator, be a governor of the biggest State in Africa, mentor several people (commissioner, governors, senators, VP, president etc) politically and eventually be a President of the biggest economy in Africa and be brain d£@d; So ultimately, it is you the writer that is brain d£@d and not Mazi Jagaban Asiwaju Tinubu🤪. JasonScoolari: |
If you don't see anything wrong in the tweet, then the level of destruction witnessed in France can start and should remain in the South Yeast, if you want to recreate same here!!! JasonScoolari: |
Send cabinet list to NASS that is still on holiday recess and would resume sometime later in July?? Tinubu that I know had over 70% of his prospective cabinet members ready even before sworn-in of May 29th. Calm down, all will be fine. He isn't a scocerer or God, as such the development and repair of Nigeria will be systematic, gradually and steadily! #Rome wasn't built in a day!!! bjtinz: |
I concur!!! Ijaya123: |
It is what is been used to sustain the FG monthly allocation to other revenue moribund states in Nigeria. It is what is been used to sustain the influx of population that keep trooping to Lagos, infrastructure and service-wise; (health, education, roads, transportation, services - waste management, traffic management, better and regular salary compared to other States, better/regular Pension) --- I mentioned things you can see, but so many others!!! bonnyhope: |
Bro, it is you that don't understand that governance has evolved; their is PPP - Public Private Partnership in development. Their is Bilateral, multilateral model. Take Western nations as an examy, the popular AirBus plane European airlines and others use, you know how many consortium with different stakes was involved in the development. The build, manage, transfers model is also not new; most recent prison facilities in America are not built by the American government. Bro, governance has evolved ooo, it takes creativity and wisdom to explore limitations in governance (dwindling resources) and maximize dividends of governance (partnership, leveraging etc). # WAKE UP

|
And are the dot nation shouting now, ready to go their own way alone?? without looking for other neighbouring region to conjoin with in the exit!!! Parrot69: |
Your mention of REGIONAL government really shows you have in-depth historical knowledge; remove Lagos, Western Region was the most developed region in the 1950/60s. georgeakins: |
Bro, even in the 50s and 60s, when Nigeria was operating a REGIONAL government, the most innovative and advanced region (remove Lagos), was Western Region of Nigeria; All the best and the first in terms of development, was from that region; 1) Education; everybody across Nigeria aspire to come and study in Western region schools; it was like the abroad school of then to people of other parts of Nigeria from other regions. 2) The best Medical teaching was in UCH, Ibadan and best other courses was in UI. 3) First Television station in AFRICA, not Nigeria, started in Western region, Ibadan. 4) One of the tallest building in Nigeria then, was in Western region Ibadan. 5) The first stadium, was in Western region. All indices of development then in the 50s/60s were in Western region, a region without crude oil then oooo, just relying on Agriculture export (Cocoa), but with leaders that had foresight. Back to Lagos and your Capital Territory, bro Calabar was also a former capital territory, but how market The level of abandonment of Lagos when the capital moved to Abuja, it was only foresighted leaders that we have now, that managed to maintain its uniqueness. The overpopulation on Lagos itself, don't you for once reason that it can and it is a burden on the resources and facility of the State. Bro, don't hate the anointed!!! Shattuck: |
Did South South complain to you that they want to leave? Why are you forcing the IPOB exit agenda on South South? South South are currently doing well politically and have even matured pass you guys politically. It is only a matter of time for you guys to be playing political catch up with South South. Nationally, other regions feel relaxed and can entrust South South with any post (Presidency, Senate Presidency, Party Chairman etc). You guys should grow up as quickly as possible and stop being politically naive and economically vulnerable - due to investing in others region and not encouraging others to come and invest in your region; the tit for tat sake!!! #FOOD FOR THOUGHT taylor89: |
When we were running regional government in the 1950/60s, which region was first in developmental strides thanks to your age long nemesis Awolowo 🙌; First TV station in Africa, First football stadium Tallest building---Cocoa house Free and best educations at all levels; All this in Western region capital of Ibadan ooo and not Lagos!!! Going separate ways will even serve the Yorubas better; our region have been overwhelmed, overburdened because we are too accommodating; so your so-called going separate ways will ease the burden!!! But for now, we believe in a United Country even though our region is over burdened with influx of alixxs!!!🚶 Streetdoctor: |
Political Albert Einstein brain 🧠 that will be studied many years to come👌. Future generations studying politics will definitely take a complete and compulsory course on TINUBU in higher institutions. Streetdoctor: |
"Every honest Nigerian knows that Peter Obi won the election on 25th February"; You guys just looking for a consolation with this wide allegations. Bro, if the election result is not what it is suppose to be, the whole country will be on fire now. The only set of people complaining LOUDLY about this election is the SE people out of 6 regions in Nigeria; then that is reminiscent to a Donald Trump-like action in USA condemning Biden's win without basis! You guys after court case go back to the drawing board to assess what went wrong rather than chasing shadows. First; 1) Fragmented opposition cannot win a ruling party; PDP, exit LP, exit KwanKwanso, exit G5 governor's and you want to win a ruling party. 2) You all picked a wrong VP except Tinubu that was strategic in the choice of Shettima; The election would have been fairly competitive if it was Obi/KwanKwanso for LP and not Datti that couldn't deliver is Polling unit for Obi not to talk of penetrating the North for Obi. Also Atiku/Wike would have been best and not Okowa. 3) The election was free and fair with many indicators; Atiku winning Osun, though thanks to their governor, Obi winning Tinubu Lagos base, so many State governors and big wigs (APC Chairman, Enugu, Cross River, Orton etc losing senatorial ambition attest to the reliability of the poll outcome! 4) KwanKwanso winning Kano, APC losing governorship even in Zamfara, losing Presidential in Buhari Katsina; 5) The thing is that APC lost some of the Northern States in presidential with a small margin to PDP that won, but comparatively PDP lost marginally in the South, so popular total vote counts favours APC to PDP 6) Obi swallowed PDP votes in SE/SS but did poorly in the core North and Core SouthWest states which isn't sufficient; While Tinubu only performed woefully in SE and some SS states, but this are small population states compared to North and even SouthWest, so popular total vote count will favour Tinubu to Obi. This is the analysis you guys should be doing to know what went wrong and build on your fortunes in this election rather than squander the goodwill of votes received though it boils down to protest votes from Buhari's failure, fuel scarcity and emefiele induced Naira hardship few weeks/days to election and not on Obi's popularity!!! _____________________________________________________ "Strong and agile" is not sufficient to take Nigeria to prosperity bro!!! You would agree with me that to be a military man you have to be strong and agile; so what did we gained from "strong and agile" military men that ruled Nigeria! Let us come to democratic dispensation, as recent as Jonathan, wasn't he "strong and agile"? But is tenure was catastrophic ineptitude and inability to assume control of his subordinate coupled with corruption. Bro, we need something upstairs 🧠 in a leader!!! A team player, a tested hands with proven records!!! As for subsidy, he has set up the NEC team, he is negotiating with labour concerning wages/palliatives. And after subsidy removal, he is taking appraisal of all MDAs, trying to block leakages, collating possible revenue so as to plan for distribution across palliative and other meaningful means of governance. Do you expect him to rush into unsustainable promises or actions ?I close my case on your comment🚶 FirstSense: |
Put it better, you don't want anything Yoruba (not APC). The same way you guys did in 1993 with your so called "Association for Better Nigeria" that made them annul the election. You guys called for interim government to prevent May 29 inauguration! Your envy for Yorubas politically go choke you guys ooo!!! If you like you guys should worship North till tomorrow, the Northerner prefer to partner with Yorubas politically; you guys aren't even a partnership option for them; Gowon--> Awolowo Murtala--->Obasanjo Buhari---> Idiagbon IBB---> Olu Falae finance minister Abacha----> Diya [Obasanjo --->Atiku] [Yaradua--Jonathan; Jonathan --Sambo] (North/SS) Buhari-----> Osinbajo🤷 [Tinubu--->Shettima] Instead of having Yorubas as your political headache, I will advice you start keeping a tab on your neighbour the SS guys, because they are currently way ahead of you politically; Just look at PDP primary, who came second: SS-Wike Same with APC primary, who came second: SS-Amaechi. Your SS neighbour are positioning themselves to be politically relevant in the country, while you guys are giving yourself headaches on Yorubas that are your political seniors right from the days of Awolowo that showed you guys woto woto🤪 as Gowon Finance Minister and Second in Command!!! FOOD FOR THOUGHT🚶 saintbillion: |
Mumu talk; And that is why the North are killing their middle belt brother? Or why SE and SS don't agree politically! Come to think of it, the so called Yoruba that don't have brother's are always courted for political partnership by the North (The most recent Buhari APC 2015). And historically, this same brother less Yoruba are always trusted by the North and preferred as their Adviser or Second-in-Command from time immemorial; 1) Awolowo Finance Minister and Second in Command to Gowon 2) Obasanjo second in command to Murtala 3) Tunde Idiagbon second in Command to Buhari 4) Olu Falae crucial finance minister to IBB 5) Diya second in command to Abacha 6) Osinbajo second in command to Buhari You guys need to work on so many things; 1) Trust 2) Reliability 3) Mutual respect, partnership and cooperation 4) Imbibe the Israelis attitude of been a silent achiever and reduce your mouthing and ego 5) Charity begins at home; You need to first learn to work with your South South and SouthWest neighbors, before taking on the North to achieve anything politically. 6) The way other regions (Southwest, North, South South) accommodated your people to thrive economically, please do same for others; How many non-igbo own houses in Igbo land? How many non-igbos Own business in Igbo land and Igbo thriving markets?; Food for thought!!! You see when Trump of America was slapping Trade sanctions on China, China was doing same back just because America and Chinese trade are intertwined!!! You guys are politically naive and have made yourself economically vulnerable by investing in other regions and not opening up or being receptive for others to come and invest/dwell in your region!!!
