Men deny pregnancy majorly because she most definitely shagged another man and he feels he might not be the owner. So you can't just start telling men to accept anything the woman says because most the things that comes out from their mouths are lies. This your advice is very stupid and as I was reading, I was calming myself to see what you'll give as a tangible reason at the end but I saw none. In conclusion, a woman will shag another guy then hang the pregnancy on another because he is fits to be a father to her bastard just because he had sex with her. You have to do better please, keep your stupid advice to yourself. |

udezue: Zebra, Ignoramus ka iwu. Ikwerre dialect is different just like Owerri, Awka, Anioma, Enugu dialects. There is no ONE IGBO language. Igbo language varies from state, town to town. The Ngwa dialect is more related to the Ikwerre and Riverine dialect than it is to Anambra state dialects.
Abakiliki of Ebonyi says "NJOKWA" while many us who speak the central Igbo say "Ndeewo" Greetings Ikwerre of Rivers say "Meka" while many of us who speak the central Igbo say "Dalu" Thank you Awka of Anambra say "Waa" in central Igbo its "Mba" NO Awka - Obu - In central Igbo its "Obi" Heart Anioma in Delta - "Emeke" - In central Igbo and Awka its "Emeka"
SAME DAMN meanings.
I called u dumb for dragging the IJAW and Efik into this. They are not Igbo jare. I am part Efik-Ibibio myself and have Ijaw relatives too. We know the difference. Ijaw and Efik languages are no dialects of the Igbo language so quit being silly. |

IdanNla: My girlfriend was raped around March but did not tell me anything about it not until I came back from school and I found out she is acting strange and I got to put up an act so she did tell me what happen after much act she didn’t tell me but lied about the whole thing but I still put more pressure and she later dropped a voice note telling me how it happened.
That a co worker of hers invited her to his home after work and the same guy had asked her for a relationship which she said no and the guy lockup the matter. So this fateful day she requested or invited her to his house getting there the guy's junior brother left for school cause they are daily part-time student, after his junior ones left, he rolled up weed and started smoking, so during the process of smoking or afterward the whole thing started and she claimed to fight him and scream but the guy overpowered him and had his way with her after which the guy pleaded saying he’s sorry and she left for home and called her best friend which she suggest she reported to the police but my babe told her she don’t wish to pursue any case that the deed has been done already and they both lockup the mater.
And she even talked to the guy the next day at work and the guy was like he’s sorry and bought her prevention drug which she collected and used. After that day the guy wanted to start a connection which she refused and the guy was like what else she did want cause he had already beg so what is with her attitude and the guy lockup with her.
Some weeks later she discovered she was pregnant and she told the guy which the guy gave her 4K for abortion and she collected the money and did the abortion.
After saying all this she pleaded I should not breakup with her cause she don’t know how to manage the aftermath of the breakup and what happened was not her intention that she was sorry such thing happened!! After hearing all these I simple asked her some questions about the incident which she don’t have an answer to:
*1= A guy asked you for a relationship and you said NO that is the more reason you should not give him chance of being close or being with him alone in a room!!!*
*2= You went to visit such guy at home and you wore a gown like a guy whom ask you for a relationship would not touch you when he had the chance of being alone with you in a room?*
*3= The said guy roll up weed and light it right in front of you and you sat there comfortably!!*
*4= You claimed you fight him but you got no bruises on you or your undies gettting torn nor your cloth*
*5= You talked to the same guy the next day after the incident*
*6= You concluded to act like nothing happen !!!*
If you are to be me what would you decide after processing all this Asin put your self in my shoe or If your Senior Brother came for advice from you stating all this what would you advice
Right now am devastated not knowing what to do cause this is the same girl am planning on marrying next year or so and I love her more than I can actually comprehend.. Right now she is avoiding me etc But what I wanted to do right now is filling a case at the police station as breaking up has not cross my heart yet but to punish the dude for what he did.. listen man, it's all guilt. the feeling of guilt is chawing on her severely so she had to cook up a lie to make you pity her; that's what girls who find themselves in this situation does. kudos for her though for having a conscience. some will just lock up and keep smiling like nothing happened, but thing is there has been a long intense sexual energy going on between them till it got to the breaking point; them fucking. she wanted it and at the same time didn't want it that's why she or girls like her never pull up a resistance or avoid there entirely. the "no no, please stop" shit is just the LMR (last minute resistance) to save face or cover the fact she's a wh*re who was definetly very wet before the guy entered her. Real rape victims are beaten, brutalized because they didn't want it. |

Heartbroken05: Good morning nairaland families.
I have been in a relationship with my gf for the past 8years and this year I planned to Marry her.
Last year, I took her to my sis to learn her business which she did and my sis showed her everything in 3 months, which should have take upto a year for someone to complete learning. I begged my sis to show everything about the business and take her to where she buy her goods. I finally opened a shop for her after 3 months and she started doing well.
There is this a guy she usually talk to but always tell me he is just a mere friend who makes her laugh only not until recently I suspected something must be attached. I had argument with her this December which resulted slapping her slightly twice. I really felt bad and quickly apologize and also told my people to beg her on my behalf.
But since then she has been acting so strangely, so recently, I call this my girl and the guy pick up and told me she is busy and I should not call her anymore, I was shocked and think this is actually a joke, he told me he knows I'm dating her and he is dating her also and nothing I can do. I was really heart broken and down that day.
But she later chat me that it's nothing to worry about. So recently, I went to pray about this and it was revealed this guy has charmed my GF and he is planning to destroy her. Four different spiritual people said same thing that the girl has been charmed and they had turn her against me by this guy.
I know I shud move on but i really love my gf and I don't want her to regret this later, as I was told she will eventually see the reality soon and will definitely wants to come back. I'm just so sad this is happening to me right now.
Please do you think I should fight this to the end or just leave and watch how this guy will destroy her. The guy has nothing and has been collecting money from her and even tell her to leave the shop I rented for her also. This man you are not wise at all. That lady kept you as an ATM machine, and was crafty till she got what she wanted from you. She's been having that dude as a bestie and sleeping with him and you couldn't halt it on time but instead you took every lies she fed you without being a man, your eyes no reach ground at all. Now you went to fake prophets who told you WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR OR BELIEVED so Dem fit collect share of the money from you. Brother I put it to you that the other guy will beat her up if he wants to, and she'll still go back to him. You no get sense at all, this isn't about red pill or tough guy. If you dey street, your eyes for reach ground but rather you're just an introverted mommy's boy. I hacked the phones of the girls I've been with and I was two steps ahead of them, if I smell anything, I literally draw their ears and warn them sternly or give them a resetting slap it isn't about trust issues but being smart. Cut your loss and move on, you dn fall mugu. |

OfoIgbo: Ubini Ukpabi is Ibibio Arochukwu is Igbo. Otherwise tell us what Arochukwu means in Ibibio
But in any case, we now know that a deity originally owned by the Ibibios, and eventually owned and controlled by the Igbos, was the major deity all Ijaws showed reverence to. Your teeth-filing ancestors ran to Igbo priests of Ubini-Ukpabi in the Igbo town of Arochukwu and begged Igbos to intervene on their behalf. This same Ubini-ukpabi, was and is not universal in all Igbo territories, which was why my people paid no reverence to it. All Ijaws must revere Ubini-ukpabi. It is greater than any deity your cannibal ancestors could ever come up with
By the way, I hope you have made a blown-up copy of Basden's map of Igboland, so that you can actually appreciate the hugeness of the Igbo territory. Stretching from the coasts of Ubani/Ibani/Okoloma to territories by the west of the Niger, and hundreds of kms to the east of the Niger. Please read Basden's work. It will help you with knowing the actual dimensions of Igboland.
I am sure you know by now that any future gra-gra by your drunkard relatives in Bonny, will be met with adequate ferocity by our brother, the king of Bonny. No Amadabo will rear his ugly head in the Igbo territory of Bonny, without first paying proper respects and duly recognizing the king of Bonny, Nwanne anyi nwoke. Igbo Kwenu!!! LMAO. as I saw long note, I thought you want to say something that makes sense. no deity has ALWAYS been universal in the primitive days, people go to a particular deity FOR A PARTICULAR REASON. visiting ubini ukpabi by the ijaws were for dispute settlements which required utmost secrecy you dullard. yok obolo in Andoni clan was also visited for a particular reason another deity can be visited for a particular reason but you don't get it, sometimes I wonder why the coverage of your brains are not vast, and most times I can see how dull you all sound because your brains or IQ's are limited to the smallest compound and it's sickening. and as for Aro chuku, you all renamed the area now, don't be daft... arochukwu wasn't the original name please think. you local champions and your thinking faculty is too poor, is this how you'd go to speak internationally to masses of higher intellectual capability and as for the map thing, every Europeans drew one to portray WHAT THEY THINK the coastal, Hinter and adjoining lands look like just as the ancient Sumerians, akkadians, Greeks, phoenecians and Egyptians portrayed what they thought of the earth; either cylindrical or circular, or flat or spherical. At each age, people will believe one to be true but later on, the actual one will be identified. I don't know if you understood that example because your IQ's are just too low to grasp anything, this is in relation to the maps on WHAT EXPLORERS THOUGHT the territory looked like, but it was Sigismund Koelle's map which was the most accurate as compared to other maps. I urge you to make more research please, I understand you and your cohorts has stretched to the utmost elasticity of your intelligence but it isn't enough. do better because you all are just local champions. Sigismund Koelle's map wasn't 100% correct, but it is more accurate than any hocus any clown in your meth sniffing circus can come up with. |

OfoIgbo: The Eze Aro remains an Igboman so did the priests that attended to the long juju. Bottomline is that your ancestors went to the Igbo town of Arochukwu, and sought the spiritual guidance of Igbo priests attending to the Ubini Ukpabi shrine.
Now just to add a little more detail. Nri people don't need to go to Arochukwu for anything. Nri people have it all, within the Nri sphere of influence. So an Nri man does not need to know what Ubini Ukpabi means or what people go there to do.
Nri-Igbo people brought civilization to clans you consider as superior to the Ijaws, and by this I mean Bini, Igala and Idoma, and all of them still use Nri-owned four market days. Ancient Nri-Igbo priests had a deep knowledge of Astrology and Astronomy, as they were aware of heavenly bodies and their positions, which was what they made use of, while traversing the length and breadth of Igboland, Benin, Igalaland e.t.c. That knowledge also allowed them to count the years and officially see in any new year, with the Eze Nri holding his usual yearly IGU ARO ceremonies. These are some deep aspects of civilization, Ijaw people probably still don't know, in spite of western civilization that has taken over Nigeria and advancements in astro-physics. ubini UKPABI is a foreign Deity which belongs to the ibibios!!!! stop deviating!! astrology, traveling the length and breath of IBO land. someone that isn't familiar with the size of the dot land will hear you and think the traveling was large, not knowing is just a couple hundred kilometers and 9 hours drive on a vehicle. why didn't you take your astrology and journey back to Israel make una loss for Sahara abi Sinai dessert. ndi'ara ogbori nama. even the four market days is AN AFRICAN THING, not in IBO alone... it's in all of Africa before the whites came. in my dialect we call it the kaka-days. now back to the ISSUE OR BORNE OF CONTENTION. YOU ALL STOLE THE LAND FROM IBIBIOS, WHO TOOK YOU IN AND LOVED YOU PEOPLE. THAT IS WHY OUR EYES ARE OPEN ON OUR TERRITORIES THAT BORDER YOUR LANDS. ITS BETTER TO SHARE BOUNDARIES WITH THE DEVIL THAN SHARE BOUNDARIES WITH SLIMY SNAKES WHO COULD CRAFTLY STEAL. who no know una in the whole of Nigeria ? same reason no one is giving you an inch, because you all are criminal elements who can't be trusted one bit. you dey tell me astronomy and astrology under how many square kilometers of land abeg? we coastal people that dominated the Atlantic ocean without compass but with the stars and sun, we no make noise, na 4 square kilometers people dey make mouth. |

BKayy: Ubini Ukpabi is Ibibio word for drum of God.
I know you are trying to drag Ibibio into this but you forgot that unlike you Ijaws, they have no ill intentions towards Ndigbo. They are as indigenous to Arochukwu as Ndigbo are. You forgot the shrine of "Chukwu" which was at the center of Arochukwu before the British destroyed/burnt down the city in 1901.
By the way, you are not entirely correct in your claim that "Ani" means land or Earth. Ani is the Goddess of fertility and Earth/land was named after her just like the sun was named after the God "Anwụ", thus the sun was called "Anya anwụ" meaning "the eye of Anwụ", with time "anya anwụ" became synonymous with the name of the God. So he is also addressed as Anyanwụ. This is classical ancient Igbo civilisation of Northen Igboland (Nri)
Ndigbo have experienced alot of civilisations. We have many from the North and South. For the South, apart from Arochukwu, we have the custodians of the shrine of the god "Amadioha" in Etche (present day Rivers state). We have the custodians of the shrine of Ekwensu in Obi Ekwensu (where Abaribe came from). I believe you are familiar with "Ekwensu" because it is the god you drunk pirates adulterated the name to "Egbesu" after your British forced contact with our Oru kinsmen across the creek. Ekwensu is the God of decisiveness, War, Intelligence /tricks. He is consulted when one wants to embark on business trip, negotiations or War. na wa o... see what you're regurgitating, only small question I ask you, you begin mesirate with your mouth. if Ani is goddess of fertility and Earth was named after her, isn't it what I said? is earth not synonymous to a woman's womb? where anything is planted grows? anyways that is your business, whatever you people call your deities is none of my concern, so I won't debate on this one. I'M GLAD YOU'VE CONFESSED THAT UBINI UKPABI IS NOT AN IGBO DEITY AFTER ALL. I must commend you for speaking the truth after your other clowns like Ekealterego SlayerForever Igboid biafrarep Eastlink eastisbae and the onlyfan star thicksharon123 boasted that they own the deity. and you speak of ill intentions? na wa for you o... you no get shame at all at all. weren't you the people that brought "ILL INTENTIONS" to the ibibio people who took you in, welcomed you with love. Kai, IBO man Wawa too much. for at least a thousand years, the ibibio people habited Aro and establish an ibom kingdom in that place and established several states of which nsit ibom and ibom kingdom were the most popular. then until the mid 17th century when the Eze-agwu clan from ABRIBA initiated a migration to the ibom kingdom and this people NOT KNOWING HOW CRAFTY Y'ALL ARE accepted you people with love and open arms. before you know it, this Eze-agwu people began revolting against owners of the land. the ruler of the Eze-agwu clan called nnachi a priest of Edda to help oust the Aro king Akpan okon till you all finally killed your benefactors and chased the remaining out. and please do not sneak in that statement of yours "they are as indigenous to Aro chuku as ndigbo" nonesense. you all weren't indigenous but tenants! you people are wicked. if not that the coastal people were smart and powerful, such case at Aro would have happened in Bonny, okrika, kalabari and Opobo. give Igbo man an inch, and he will take the whole plot. this incident makes me remember my 200level. putindbut JANK23H robbstark worworboy y'all should listen to this story. I had this Igbo friend from nkanu, Enugu. we weren't really friends at first but just acquainted. he had a fight with his room mate regarding rent issues and that one sent him packing (that same room mate was Igbo too) he threw his bags, foodstuffs out in their compound and this guy crashed in my apartment which was 10mins walk from theirs. it rained that day and his credentials were soaked, including his foodstuff. I took this guy in o and was kind to him, his former roommate came and warned me about him and his craftiness but I have a kind heart. I do my reading in the day, and do freelance writing at nights so I tend to sleep before 11pm, where as my new friend sleeps during the day and read at night. and because I use coloured lightens because I use to be allergic to bright lights on my ceiling, he'll kindly beg me so he'll swap one of my coloured bulb for a halogen bulb so he can read at night(8-10 or at most 11) was our agreement, then he'll fix my bulb back. would you belief he started breaking the agreement, turning on the light beyond 11 and even sleeping with it on. I no talk that period because I had these girlfriend whom I sleep in her room then. when I returned, this guy no gree comot ein halogen bulb o, he come dey Ginger me. fight burst out in my own apartment that lodge people and the landlady gathered that evening. me as a no nonesense stubborn ijaw boy carry pipe flog the bulb for up, put my own. we're still friends till tomorrow and we use to laugh at it and he'll say "room wey no be my own o" I don't blame him, it's in the blood. in conclusion, the igbos are expansionists like the fulani people. they will say they come to do business and before you blink, they have taken control. you can do that to any other tribe, but not the ijaws of the Niger Delta. if you do anyhow you go collect... 2 seconds. |

MamiTer: Hello good people of nairaland, I have a pressing issue and I really need your help.
A couple of years back I broke up with my boyfriend whom I really loved due to distance barriers. Getting over him was difficult for me so I had to go into a relationship with one of my toasters in order to get him off my mind.
I achieved my aim after a couple of months but the current guy was unwilling to let go, I didn't love him and couldn't get myself to love him despite trying to. I know I was selfish and opened up to him but he insisted that I would warm up to him with time and grow to love him.
The relationship was far from perfect, I was in it solely for what I benefited but we weren't compatible and it was from one issue to another. We were always at logger heads all the time. He insults me and my family at any given opportunity and talks down on me using secrets I shared with him as leverage each time we quarrel. He shredded my self-esteem.
He was insecure and attacked my male friends at any given opportunity including my lecturers, he would access my social media accounts and send derogatory message to any male contact he feels is making a pass at me. All these attitudes made me fed up with him and I decided to breakup for good.
Early this year I met a guy online and somehow we vibed together quickly, we met physically for the first time and it felt like we've known for ages. Everything moved so quickly with this new guy that I started developing serious feelings for him. I was scared because I never knew I would feel something like that again after I broke up with my other ex.
This new guy makes me happy and treats me like a woman, anytime spent with him is always memorable and I don't feel like leaving. The chemistry that we share is super strong and everything seems so perfect.
Now to my issue, this new guy is a fresh graduate and not yet stable, I don't have issues with his financial status because he made me realize a Lady can actually be happy without money being thrown at her. But I'm still scared of going all full into the relationship he might go for service and never come back to me. I don't just want a repeat of my previous relationship that got shattered after my ex relocated.
On the other hand, the other guy is hell bent on getting me back, he's been pleading and sending people to beg me even though I told him I've moved on and has even had sex with the new guy but he still wants me back.
I'm confused and don't know what to do, my heart is with the new guy but the other guy is making things so difficult for me and almost driving me insane. Can I still grow to love him?? Though I've been unable to after almost a year.
Should move on with the new guy?? I've known him for barely two months but it seems I've known him for ages, my feelings are exploding and I can hardly control them which is making me scared.
I'm sorry for the long epistle but I had to let it all out. Please advice me. two months and you've already bleeped someone from Facebook? you can't even keep the cookie in the jar for atleast 5 months to actually see if he's for real. you lots are shameless abeg. he woved his magic well and smashed you in less that 5weeks and I applaud him. he's young, and when he goes for NYSC he'll go to smash other girls while he also smashes you too whenever you both see, and at the end of it he'll focus on his main babe, while still smashing you too once in a while. |

Igboid: Even then, his rabid Igbophobia was in excess. Not even Ogba people could contain such hate for Ndiigbo. I always suspected something was amiss. It's akin to ChinenyeN too. Chai! These Ijaws have been on this mission for a long time. It's akin to the parable of the Bible where the farmer was sleeping and enemies came and sowed tarres in his field. Ndiigbo have been asleep for a long time while these Creek hateful beings went about doing us "akpuruka".
He is same person as Alabo, right? And I think I already know his Facebook account name as well. See clown,, what's my Facebook account? |

Yes you're right, Asiwaju is actually the CORRUPTION of Asi'nwa-uju; a name known by the community. His mother took himwhen he was 5 years old to Lagos after the death of his father, and changed his name to asiwaju according to bkayy eastisbae SlayerForever Igboid biafrarep Ekealterego. |

Alabo7978: Till lizard grow hairs on his chest, you can never bring forth a man from Bonny or Opobo that will tell you he is Igbo. JANK23H has been saying it. Till birds grow teeth, till the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. Till the oceans dries up, you can't bring anyone to say he is Igbo. Keep on misbehaving here. |

BKayy: They will just beat you on one side and you cling to a weak branch.
The only place you Ijaws have a stake in Rivers State is Finima courtesy of Brass people. Opobo is a lost cause. You can't even convince yourself talkless of convincing others.
Starting from the name to their monolingual Igbo Language. Opobo is just a perfect Igbo community. Opobo people will soon come and blast you here 3,2,1... |

BKayy: Do you know the Funniest thing. The dude understands Igbo Language because he lived in OPOBO.
He couldn't survive there with his original Ijaw language that he unconditionally learned Igbo by force. See mumu... Bold in his stupid fallacies. |

Ekealterego: Well, one can tell Alabo7978 is not the sharpest tool in the box. Maybe he is playing a character, a dumbbb character, who knows? I remember uploading this text on Opobo and he bungled the simple plain interpretation. Opubo-ama is a Bonny sub-clan. You want to claim a town you don't even know the meaning
