Nonsense!
You're actually ungrateful to say the least. Oil producing states that are being exploited and their environment grossly degraded have not been given special status then it is Lagos that Nigeria channeled most of its resources to build during the oil boom era that will now deserve special status.

I don't blame you, rather I blame the federal government that concentrated most amenities there instead of spreading it out.

Lagos is nothing without Nigeria!

It is Nigeria that made Lagos what it is and not the other way round!!

It is Lagos that should be grateful not Nigeria!!!

Oil producing states receive special allocation, 13% derivation. Apart from the normal allocations. They have received more than N9trn since 2000. Who sent them to loot it? Is that not special enough. Please hold SS leaders responsible for the misfortune of the region... They swim in wealth with little to show for it. SS is still the richest region in Nigeria if we take away Lagos from SW. The leaders of SS are too corrupt..

Firstly u think Niger Delta republic would allow oil companies have head office in another country and operate in niger Delta ? ...what would be the point of having head office in Lagos ...then they would build another one back in niger Delta republic

Biafran owned banks would move their head office to biafra , fidelity bank n the rest

Eastern sea ports would be opened by force and lagos cargo load would drop , ...most igbo owned business would relocate and put their houses on sale

Demand for house would drop which would fall price and value ... paying the debt used to build them would be hard banks takes them over but still can't get their money

Bros relax ooh

Business are not done base on sentiments brother. Will Dangote also move his Business from Kogi ,Ogun and Lagos to Kano? Will all the Multinationals companies move away from Nigeria? What are the percentage of real investor's from SE in Lagos? Apart from Access bank, how many Biafra banks can stand GTBank.. ? Why do you think Dangote and Kalu want to buy Arsenal instead of Kano pillars and Eyimba ? You don't do business like that sir .... The market and purchasing power is in the west..

Push for what ...u mean like osibanjo against restructuring ?

U think if we break up lagos would still be that populated ?

Infact Lagos would enter recession , population would drop by like 30% , houses values would crash , payment of loan would be hard , hyper inflation ...don't even go there self

All the oil companies would leave to start with ...some banks might leave or move head office

How will lagos enter recession? Where are the oil companies going to? Abia or Imo state? Where exactly will the banks move their head office to? Probably onitsha..

Breakup or no break up. Lagos state can not fall. It has everything already. I'm not even calling for disintegration, we need more federal government attention in SW mostly Lagos state. We give much and receive less...

Don't we have states that produce oil? Do you know how much custom generates from SW borders alone? Not to talk of other incomes from SW going into the federal government pockets . Many federal roads in Lagos states are bad. They generate money from the seaport but can't repair the roads for decades now..

Politics / Lagos State And SW Nigeria Deserves Special Status. by alade112(m): 9:30am On Dec 15, 2020
The number of people that come into Lagos state everyday is about 7,000. Most are not coming to buy goods, but to make Lagos their new home.

According to senator Adeola, "the resources of Lagos state government cannot adequately cater for the population and the pressure on amenities arising out of the status of the state as an acknowledged mega city with a population of over 20 million Nigerians"

I think the Federal Government simply exploits and abandon lagos state.

Lagos state deserves special status, If lagos state can't get it. Then the federal government should create a Development commission for South West also. Nigerian revenues  comes from two sources, the oil and non-oil revenue. South west Nigeria generates 80 to 90% of the Non oil revenue income. We also deserve something special. We are too civil to get what we want through violence,  we all know what gave birth to NDDC and NEDC . The South west leaders should continue to push Lagos special Status they shouldn't give up, because the mass Migration to SW is alarming.  The negative impacts of migration has outweighed the positive impact.  Starting from Pressure on public services such as schools, housing and healthcare,  Overcrowding and pollution , crime, Increased pressure on budget.

Though our contry is blessed and great, but with so much negativity floating about regarding the nation of my birth. It's very hard for me to say “I am very proud to be a Nigerian".
Our education, healthcare, infrastructure and democracy are falling. Corruption, little human development, high rate of unemployment ,Crime and terrorism. How will someone be proud of this country.

If you are proud to be a Nigerian, Like if you're not share or give reasons with comment.

ZesusHVWritter:

Even if that was true, this is how glo data sharing works(or used to work).

Mr A is the data owner.
Mr B is the data sub receiver.

Mr A has 2gig data, shares with Mr B who then receives 1gig.
Mr A is idle not using its data.
Mr B is active using its data, Mr B exhaust its 1gig. Mr B gets a notification that its shared subscription with Mr A is expired. There is no way Mr B can exhaust its allocated data then move over to Mr A.

But Mr A can exhaust its shared data and move to the data it initially shared with Mr B and exhaust it, because Mr A is the owner of the data and at such, has an unlimited access to its data subscription.

Op do you have any data reader on your device to check if your data was used by an app unknowingly to you?
You can't allocate data on glo data sharing. If you have 2gig, those you shared your data with have full access to the whole gig.

Oh great! The very intelligent dude just directed me to a blog whose site reads "renown-electric"
Yet, its not all about electricity. grin

Sorry, I don't have to visit the blog. I'm done with you. Go find someone or something else to bugger.

Oga. I'm not fighting you. there's Google.com , You can search for Reasons why Elevators do fail. I'm not a fool when i said its not all about Electricity. You claim to know all but the truth is that we do learn everyday.. Or are you telling me it's only the petrol you fill always in your car that makes your car run perfect?

It's not about electricity, says an intelligent twerp.
Your basis for comparison is so lame, I can't even say why I bothered to reply this. If it isn't abt steady electricity, what else has been stopping people from building high rise buildings?
Companies and corporations build it in Nigeria because they can afford to power it with diesel generators. Even the cost of it is prohibitive. My kid bro has his office on the 12th floor of Bookshop House on the island. In the mornings, the generator is on to power the elevator when there is no public supply. IN THE MORNINGS ONLY! After the morning rush, the generator is turned off. If you need to go downstairs later, you have to use the stairs. Coming upstairs after the morning rush also means you must use the stairs!!

Private individuals usually limit the number of storeys they build for rentals to 3 or 4 storeys. Because installing and powering elevators on private generators will drive the rental cost over the roof.

We have limited the downside of poor electricity to buildings. How about other factors that drive development? How about its effect on small businesses, factories, health care, education, agriculture, security.....the list is endless. Don't get me started. angry

How many of your houses have you installed an elevator in? That's if you have built a house in the first place.

Lol! Av u seen where a sane person installed an elevator in a one floor 4bed room flat?

It's not all about Electricity. All these long epistle you spew up there is trash. Writing long word doesn't mean you are intelligent. You can help yourself here https://www.renown-electric.com/blog/common-elevator-problems/

Next time you will reason well and consider other factors like mechanical faults before spewing rubbish..

With our "excess electricity" and " ever responsive fire services" people may be spending an entire weekend in an elevator.

What are your suggested solutions?

It's not all about Electricity , People do get stuck/trapped in Elevator even in advance countries. We have seen a case where a Man was trapped for months and later found dead. Ben Carson and his wife also stuck in an elevator last year. Why are they still using it over there. Elevator cable do cut in US and other developed Nation, does that stop them from using it?

That's why many houses in Onitsha are building high but no plans to put elevators in the tall buildings. I don't think our development has gotten to the extent of fitting elevators on every high rise public building.

I must confess, that's a lame excuse and poor reasoning from you. So because these guys got stuck in one building automatically means we aren't developed yet to be using elevator. Damn... The way some people dey reason sef for dz country get as E be..
