Career / How To Make Your First $500 In 30 Days Writing Words That Sells by AlaloBlessing06(f): 2:27pm On Jan 03, 2023
You are a copywriter but you just don't know it yet.

Give me a minute and I'll prove it to you

According to Dan Lok, A CEO of a $100 million+ consulting enterprise, we are all copywriters but don't know it yet.

Have you ever written something to your friend? Posted on social media?
Or sent a message to someone on social media?

If yes, then you are a copywriter.

The difference between you and a professional is that you don't get paid for your writings but a professional copywriter get paid hundreds and thousands of dollars to write.

The contents you see on billboards, emails, websites were all written by a copywriter.

You create stuff that people will read, watch, or hear, such as headlines, blogs, adverts and online texts.

Copywriters turns words into money and make people take certain actions to buy something or do something.

Copywriting is a very valuable and powerful skill and every company needs a good copywriter.

I mean, who doesn't need a person who will help them make more money by successfully marketing and selling their goods or services?

As a copywriter, you're the voice that speaks to your customers.

You're the person who helps them understand your product in a way that's real.

As a copywriter, you assist customers in appreciating the worth of a good or service and make sure they have the right understanding of it.

UPS was started by two teenagers with one bicycle and $100 borrowed from a friend.

And now it is the world largest package delivery company in the world.

Your mind is a powerful tool.

If you don't have the money needed to start a new venture, do not stop there.

Think of another solution to make it work.

Not having enough money is not an obstacle to achieve your dreams.

It is just another lame excuse.

The only thing stopping you from launching your brilliant idea is you.

Sir Roberts Yakubu shared how to raise start up capital without loans few days ago on Facebook.

He talked about his mentee, Philip, who had a brilliant idea but when asked why he hasn't launched it yet, his excuse was that he didn't have a start up capital.

Sir Roberts made him calculate how much he needed to launch and made a list of names of people who would give him a thousand naira if they learned of his progress.

His business idea was going to give employment to 2 persons and that was their secret to unlocking the emotions of his network.

And it worked.

His friends, neighbors and family all supported him and his start up capital was raised in 4 days.

Career / 3 Tips On How To Win Big In 2023 You Can't Afford To Miss by AlaloBlessing06(f): 8:18am On Jan 01, 2023
2022 has just ended.

By now you have probably written out what you want to accomplish this year.

(Happy new year by the way )

Here are 3 simple tips to help you win big this year.

The first one is Clarity.

Yes, You heard that right.

Clarity.

Most of us don't even know what we want.

You need to be clear on what you want before taking any further step.

When you know what you want, you know the right direction to head to.

After knowing what you want, the next step is to have a clear goal on how to achieve what you want.

Maybe you want to learn a new language this year.

Learn a new skill.

Or probably make your first 100k in less than 2 months.

After knowing what you want, the next question to ask yourself is how do I actually achieve this goals.

What steps do you need to take to achieve your goals?

Write down this steps and break them down into smaller actionable steps.

You want to make your first 1M from the internet in a month?

It's very possible.

But remember, one step at a time.

You can't be talking about making 6 figures when you haven't even made 5 figures yet.

You want to start a small business?

What are the actionable steps to making that dream a reality?

First you need a business model

You also need an edge over your competitor.

Obviously you are not the only one into that business, so why should people buy from you instead of your competitor?

You might also need start up capital.

After this actionable steps, what next?

You see this steps you've written down, you actually do them.

Nothing gets accomplished just by knowing what to do.

Doing them will bring you the results you want.

To make your dream a reality, you need to do the work involve.

And that is how you win big in 2023.

Remember, a step at a time.

To your wins

Cheers

Dammy Azeez had just quit his job as a filling station attendant.

He was tired of staying at home and having everyone give him advice on how to live his life.

So he started searching online for ways to earn at least $1,000 every month working from home.

Just enough money to leave his parents house

Get his own place

And live his life peacefully

Without anyone disturbing him

Or telling him what to do with his life.

Soon enough, he discovered a type of writing.

Mind you, this is not the type of writing that are being taught in English class in schools.

But like most beginners, he had a pretty hard time getting “the right” clients to look his way.

Thankfully, it was during this period that Andy Mukulo, a direct response marketer, released a new edition of The Foreign Copywriting Initiative....

One of the best courses to learn an high income skill.

Dammy found it through one of his Tweets, and at first...

He was skeptical.

Which is totally understandable...

Considering the huge number of online scammers promising the moon and not delivering on their promises.

But he decided to give it a shot.

Fast-forward today...

He now earns upwards of $3,000 per project — and currently works with some of the biggest names in his industry ... (Like John Caprani, Stefan Georgi, David Deutsch...)

That is over 2M per project for only one client.

And for these industry legends — John, Stefan and David to say Dammy's work is "Very impressive"

And even refer well-paying clients to him...

That's enough indication that Dammy has made serious progress in less than a year since he started on this path.

Learning an high income skill is one of the fastest route out of poverty.

An high income skill is the knowledge and experience You gain and develop that can at least fetch you 6 figures monthly.

This simply means having a skill where clients pays you large sum of money for your work.

Compare the money Dammy Azeez made from his peanut job for a year and what he makes monthly now that he has a high income skill.

You can never go hungry if you have an high income skill and know how to use it.

Learn a high income skill and apply it to helping high-paying clients with problems of high value.

If you are able to do this, you will build a big wealth system for yourself and break free from the cycle of poverty.

The best time to grow a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.

Instead of complaining, think about what you can do differently.

Your brain is a gift. Use it.

Look for people who complain and find a solution for them.

Career / Know Your Target Customer, Make More Money (many Ignore This) by AlaloBlessing06(f): 4:54pm On Oct 17, 2022
To succeed in anything, you have to have an idea of whatever it is you are doing.

In movies, especially Korean and American, we see that if you want to befriend a person or launch an attack, you need to know everything about them to succeed.

Their likes, dislikes, the food they eat, their favorite restaurant, their hobbies, where they work, the friends they keep etc.

Why is this important?

I was watching Vicenzo (A movie) yesterday evening, and they were trying to come up with a plan to defeat an enemy.

They had to do a background check and find out everything they needed to know about their target.

From their research, they found out that their target (he) was into men, he was a mama's boy and he loved horse riding.

They had 2 aims for approaching him.

One was because they wanted to stop the contract between his bank and an evil company.

The other was to put him in jail for assault since he was always escaping it because of his power.

They succeeded in putting him behind bars but didn't succeed in the first one because they weren't thorough enough.

To set him up, they needed Vicenzo to act like a gay and get his attention.

You need to know your target audience to get them to listen to you and buy from you.

You need to know the language they speak to communicate with them well.

You need to know their likes and dislikes.

You need to know the pages they are following, their age, their relationship status, their hobbies, the books they read, the Tv series they watch, etc to serve them well.

You can't be advertising an item for married couples to someone who isn't married, there's no way you are going to make sales.

To serve your customers better, you need to understand their pains, challenges and obstacles they are facing.

You need to know what keeps them awake at night.

You need to know the level they are in now and the level they want to be in.

Only when you know this can you serve them effectively.

In Vincenzo they needed to know his preference in men (not just the fact that he was into men alone) for Vincenzo to be able to play his role and get his attention.

And the first time they met, guess what happened

He was star struck?

Why?

Because Vincenzo was everything he wanted in a man.

Imagine they didn't do their research and assume that since he was a man, he should be straight and then use a lady or even another guy who wasn't what he was looking for to set him up?

What would have happened?

Their plans would have failed.

On the second meeting he (the target) said something to Vincenzo "I feel that you can see through me."

Why did he say so?

Because Vincenzo and his team has done their research about him.

Vincenzo knew what to say to stir him up.

He understood his pain and communicated in a language that he understood.

Your customers wants to feel that way too.
They want you to speak directly to them.
They want to be able to connect with you.
They want to feel like you understand them and know whatever it's they are going through.

People don't care how much you know till they know how much you care.

Career / 7 Lessons I Learnt From The Kdrama "Big Mouth" by AlaloBlessing06(f): 6:52pm On Oct 13, 2022
1. The Enemy Of Your Enemy Is Your Friend.

Chang Ho had to join forces with Ji- Hoon to bring the Mayor down, otherwise he would had little to no chance to defeat the mayor (though their plans failed).

2. What You Are Looking For In Sokoto Is In Your Shokoto.

Your enemy is there with you.

Chairman kang's enemy was the mayor who he kept so close to him and trusted him so much at a point, which eventually led to his death.

Big Mouse was right in front of Big Mouth all along calling him boss and following his orders.

3. Never make the mistake of marrying someone that is overly obsessed with you.

E go end in more than tears.

4. The Law Isn't On The Side Of The Poor.

There's nothing like being fair here. The big fish gets away with their crimes.

Chang Ho tried to use the law to punish mayor choi but all to no avail. Even with the proofs that they had, mayor Choi still won.

The prison is another community on it own, if you don't have power in there, it's game over.

5. Better The Devil You Know Than The Devil You Don't.

Big mouth trusted the Mayor Choi so much and confided in him.

He told his wife to go to him if anything happens not knowing that he was the enemy.

At least it was clear to him that the likes Of Ji Hoon wanted him dead, he knew what to expect and prepare for in advance for their attack.

6. Having A Supportive Family

Things weren't going fine for Chang Ho and his family.

They hardly had enough money to survive and still had debts to pay, But Mi ho and her dad were still so supportive till the end.

Even when the whole country believed he was the notorious criminal, his family was always there for him.

7. Gain Power.

The rich and powerful have no problem stepping on you like dirt if you have no power.

For Chang- Ho, going from Big Mouth to Big Mouse wasn’t easy but it was the only choice he had.

He needed power to stay alive.

Why do you continue to buy garri from Mama Bose whose store is in the next street instead of Mama Chiamaka whose store is a few blocks away from you?

The truth is nobody wants to treated like a leach.

People go to where they are appreciated.

There are vendors everywhere.

If you don't provide good customer services and have your customer's best interest at heart, you will lose them for good.

Today I'll be sharing with you 5 proven methods and a bonus point you can use to gain and retain your customers for a long period of time.

What Is Customer Retention?

Customer retention is the process of keeping a one time buyer to buy from you over and over again.

According to research, 68% of sales come from existing customers.

✅ Build relationships.

Good relationships are built on trust.

Building trust with your clients begins with developing a brand that they can relate to.

✅ Over Deliver Every Time.

People enjoy getting more than they paid for. If you constantly give clients a little extra, their minds will eventually learn to trust you and your company for future transactions.

✅ Stay In Touch And Educate Them.

If your customers forget about you, you can’t keep them.

Inform your clients about promo, product changes, and any other information you believe would be of interest to them.

This will go a long way toward keeping your brand at the front of their minds, even if they don't immediately buy.

✅ Pay Attention to Questions and complaints

Make sure clients can contact a real, understanding person, either in person or over the phone, when they have questions or complaints.

✅ Take Responsibility.

When issues arises, own up to your faults, apologize and look for methods to make things right with your clients.

✅ Thank Your Customers.

A magic word that never goes out of style.

Satisfied customers are happy customers and happy customers are return customers who will also tell their friends and family about you.

Career / Why Do People Post Contents Not Related To Their Niche? by AlaloBlessing06(f): 3:54pm On Oct 05, 2022
In my opinion I'll say, every successful brand don't make this mistake because they know who they are.

Many people haven't found their brand voice yet and just post anything they can lay their hands on because they heard content Is king.

People go off key not because of likes (that is if they are truly intentional about their growth) but because they haven't found their brand voice yet.

They don't know what they should be doing or how they should be doing it.

Emeka Nobis shared a message on how he started his journey in marketing and sales in 2006 and was in confusion between 2006- 2009 until he found his voice in 2010.

Many of us don't know what our mission is here.

We might have an idea of what we want but we are actually lost on how to do them.

What is a brand voice?

When someone close to you calls you on the phone, without checking their name, how do you know it's them?

Maybe from a slang they always say or the way they shorten your name when they call you.

it's the same thing as brand voice.

Brand voice is the style in which you communicate with your customers.

In finding your brand voice you need to first be clear on who you really are.

Once you are clear on that, you are only using your brand voice to express it.

This helps you understand what you do, why you exist and what future you want to create.

Research your audience.

Who are you trying to attract?

Who are you speaking to?

How do you want them to feel when they interact with your brand?

Consider how they talk, the words they use, the obstacle they face and how they express themselves.

List at least 3 things you want people to say about your brand.

Use this as an inspiration for your brand voice.

Finding your brand voice makes you stand out from the competition, attract new prospects and gain clarity on your journey.

Yesterday we talked about eating an elephant.

And how do we do that?

By taking one bite at a time.

Success doesn't happen overnight.

You need to be consistently doing the right thing and over time you will get good results.

Career / How Do You Eat An Elephant? by AlaloBlessing06(f): 12:29pm On Oct 03, 2022
That was the question Jordan asked Mel.

Last night, I was watching Charmed, a TV series.

Two of the main characters, Jordan and Mel were trying to solve a puzzle on how to save the world from the destruction coming.

Maggie, Mel's younger sister had a vision of the destruction which was about to unleash and destroy the world in 12 hours.

Unfortunately, the prey was their father and they had to figure out how to save him and also save the world.

They needed to find where the ritual will take place to stop it.

She was frustrated and vented out to Jordan how she used to be a very powerful time witch but now has no idea how to time travel and prevent the disaster.

She felt time was moving too fast and she keeps falling deeply behind.

"How do you eat an elephant?" Jordan asked her.

"Why would anyone want to eat...? " she asked

Jordan shook his head in agreement interrupting her

"No one will, it's insane." He said

"How would you eat an elephant?" He asked again.

"By taking one bite at a time.

"Because if you think about eating the whole animal, it's overwhelming.

"But if you think one bite at a time." He concluded.

Mel got the message as she nodded her head in agreement.

What Desmond Tutu meant by this statement "Eating an elephant one bite at a time" is that every task in life that appears to be difficult, overwhelming, or even impossible can be achieved gradually by taking it on little by little.

A step at a time.

How do you achieve a big goal?

By making progress in small steps over time.

By doing it the SMART way; setting goals in steps and gradually accomplishing it by taking it on, one step at a time.

By SMART way I mean :

Specific

Be clear about what you want to achieve. Working toward a clear goal is considerably simpler than working toward an unclear one.

Measurable

Set a goal that will enable you to track your progress toward accomplishing it.

Attainable

Set attainable goals. Setting a goal that is too big is one of the biggest barriers to achievement. You don't want to take on more than you can handle, so give your goals some thought and make sure it's acceptable and realistic.

If you want to earn 8 figures, you have to set a goal to make 6 figures first, then 7, and then 8.

Increase your chances of realizing your dreams by adding reality into your planning.

Relevant

Choose a goal that has a personal meaning to you. No matter how big or small your goals are, achieving them requires effort. You'll be more likely to maintain motivation along the road if you pick a goal that you're passionate about and genuinely want to accomplish.

Time-Bound

Decide on a deadline and stick to it! Setting deadlines for your goals is a good way to hold yourself responsible and ensure that you remain focused and on target.

Zig Ziglar once said “a goal properly set is halfway reached.”

Every task can be accomplished, if taken one step at a time.

Career / How To Convince A Customer To Buy From You Using The 3 Box Technique by AlaloBlessing06(f): 10:48am On Sep 26, 2022
I came across a YouTube video by Dan Lok where he talked about getting people to buy from you giving them 3 choices and that is where the "BOX" technique comes in.

According to him, If you give people one option, the response they have is a "yes" or a "no".

The question they ask themselves is "Do I have the budget for this or not?"

They focus on the price. However if you give them 2 options (A small and a big choice) they are thinking about which of them to buy.

When people are given 2 choices, 80% goes for the small and 20% for the large because people don't like taking risks and they like to pick the one they can save money on.

But when you offer 3 options, there is a contrast pricing.

That is offering a customer a selection of several options/products at various price points .The most important aspect of this technique is to make sure the client, who is responsible for deciding whether something is valuable to them, is comparing the more expensive offering to a less expensive option.

When you bring your offer, you want to make the biggest box (BOX C) offer outrageous knowing most people won't go for it.

You want to make your small offer (BOX A) weak.

And you want to make BOX B very compelling knowing you actually want people to buy BOX B.

When making an offer, 2 choices are good. 3 choices are the best. 4 choices is a little bit too much and confusing.

In essence, you want to use BOX C as a decoy with an outrageous price because you don't really want people to buy it. BOX A too weak because of same reason but strengthen BOX B.

Selling is about choice but marketing is about giving your customer choices, not too many, not too little but the right amount and letting them know it is their choice to make that purchase and buying decision.

Career / How To Create Offers That Makes People Want To Buy by AlaloBlessing06(f): 4:28pm On Sep 22, 2022
✅ It has to be easy to understand.

You want them to accept your offer with ease.

✅ Your offer should be useful and beneficial.

Your offer should be highly desirable.

We either purchase something for pleasure or to escape pain.

People are difficult to convince to take action until they experience discomfort or a problem, which makes it difficult to teach about or sell prevention of a future problem.

Include their pain points in your offer.

✅High Perceived Value.

This is what is useful and relevant to your clients and prospects.

Even if your offer is highly valued but not highly regarded by your customers or prospects, it still won't be irresistible.

PS: your high perceived value should be easy to get.

✅ It must be credible and believable.

Things that sound too good to be true are not believed by most people.

Give them a reason for your "too good to be true" deals.

It could be to gather testimonials, to build trust etc.

✅ Include a low risk or no risk in your offer.

✅ Give them a reason to act right now.
Career / Under Pricing Your Goods And Services Won't Make Them Buy by AlaloBlessing06(f): 4:14pm On Sep 22, 2022
On Saturday afternoon at 1pm, i was so hungry.

I was at work and knew how difficult it was to get something to eat on saturdays (except junks though )

But i wanted actual food.

I decided to scout a little to see if i could at least get snacks but when i got to the baker's shop, she has already closed.

I decided to go back to my office.

On my way back, i saw a bread seller (god has finally answered my prayers)

She was on the other side of the road.

So i asked if she has butter, to which she said yes.

I told her to come over, which she did.

If you stay in mafoluku oshodi, you know how small bread that are not agege can be.

So i decided to settle for 300 naira bread. (no blame me, drum dey my belle)

I asked her how much a particular bread (it was my kind of bread, white) was and she said 500.

I told her it was too small for 500.

She pointed at a 400 naira bread to which i said my budget was 300.

I told her not to worry, she should tie it up so i could help her.

She decided to sell the 400 naira bread for 300, i thanked her.

When she brought it out, it was brown and i don't eat brown bread.

So i told her to help me with a bread one since i don't eat brown bread but there was no white one except for the one i first asked for which she said was 500 naira.

I told her not to worry and offered to help her lift the bread on her head.

She started begging me to buy.

I thought the reason for this was because she hadn't made any sales for that day.

We had problem communicating since i am not fluent in yoruba.

I understood all she was saying but replying her most times was the problem.

I couldn't displease myself and buy what i couldn't eat.

I told her that but i didn't think she understood.

It was getting tiring since we were standing under the sun.

I told her to tie her goods so i can help her and also go inside my office.

Then she said she will sell the 500 bread for me at 300.

Resistance!

The bread no good. ( what i immediately thought)

How much be gain for bread wey she wan sell bread of 500 for 300.

Gain for one bread no dey reach 70 oo, at least 50 naira.

She brought the bread out and it was so strong.

I told her not to be angry that i wasn't buying anymore.

She started begging again.

The whole thing got tiring and i just walked into my office.

I told my boyfriend about it.

And the bobo said i should run for my life

let me cut the gist short.

Under pricing your goods won't make you more sales.

Sometimes it will make it seem fake even if it is not.

In the same way reducing the price of your services would only make you look cheap and unprofessional.

People will see you as a quack.

I know this has happened to many of us.

In the sense that expensive things has been tagged as original and the cheap ones as fake.

Begging people to buy from you won't also get you anywhere either.

Nobody cares about you or your goods.

They only care about what your goods or services will do for them.

Be strategic about your marketing.

Do not ever appear as a hungry and desperate salesperson.
Career / Crafting Your Customer Avatar by AlaloBlessing06(f): 4:57pm On Aug 30, 2022
A customer avatar is a fictional person who has the same needs, pain points, and wants as the customer you want to serve.

it is simply your target market.

Why Do You Need A Customer Avatar?

You need a customer avatar to understand who you are trying to sell to.

Selling to everyone is like selling to no one.

As a business owner or entrepreneur, You should focus on how your products or services are going to benefit your clients not so much about what you sell or offer.

✅ Step 1- Identifying Who Your Ideal Customers Are Today And Where They want To Be.

The gap in between that, is your product or service.

- Who are your ideal customers?

- What do they want?

- What is in their way? ( what is stopping them from getting the results they want?)

After you've gone through this process, make a list of all the results your ideal customer desires and all the obstacles they are working to overcome.

✅ Step 2- Demographic Information.

This includes their age, race, sex, employment, income level, location, level of education etc.

You can get this from:

- Previous client data- write down their name, location, age, gender etc.

- Social data (social media).

Make a list of 3 different companies or brand your ideal customers are going to.

Go through their sales process, look at their landing pages, comment section etc.

This procedure simply involves pulling back the results and obstacles that are discussed in the marketing messages and what your ideal customers are talking about in order to add them to your data.

After all this steps and information, compile it into a customer avatar that you can use whenever you are creating contents or writing sales messages.

This is going to be your source to come back to when you are creating something for your ideal customer to make sure everything you write and produced Is focused on them.

Ask yourself what will stop them from buying.

For example, if your ideal customer is married, they might need to speak to their partner before making a decision

Tackle all the sales objections and add it in your sales message for an effective marketing.

Boom

Now you know who you are supposed to be reaching out to, how to reach out to them, why they need your products and services and how to handle their sales objections.

Your customer avatar is key to experiencing marketing and sales success.

Stop talking to everyone and start talking to someone.

Career / 5 Ways To Generate Leads That Converts by AlaloBlessing06(f): 12:18pm On Aug 27, 2022
1. Don't settle for just one lead source.

Are you only trying to generate leads on Fb?

The thing with one lead source is that when it crashes, we are all screwed.

Remember when Fb and WhatsApp was out of system for some hours?

Imagine those were your only source for selling.

Have a few trustworthy lead generation sources that consistently produce leads.

2. Create lead magnets and promote them.

This resembles a free offer you make in exchange for contact information. This can be a free template, booklet, instruction, etc.

This enables you to maintain contact with people who have already connected with your company.

Value and Importance are two requirements that your lead magnet must satisfy.

3. Share valuable contents.

This is one of the surest way to slowly start to build your relationship with your prospects before you sell to them.

Continue to add value before you sell.

4. Publish articles.

The article's main strength is that it doesn't come across as pushy and salesy.

It is informational and appealing to your potential customers because they are trying to find answers to their difficulties.

5. Link your lead magnets in your contents.

In today's world of digital marketing, producing content is essential.

Your content's objective is not merely to get visitors to read your website, though.

It also serves to increase sales and produce leads.

Link your lead magnet in your contents. E.g blogs, article etc.

This is a cost-free method of generating leads and sales.

If your lead magnet is unrelated to your content, it won't work as well as it should.

1. Find a market then create a product to satisfy that market.

2. Create Offers that will entice your target market.

Create Offers that are so good that people would find it hard to say no to.

Include the following in your offers:

Free.

Give Guarantee.

Bonuses etc.

3. Use testimonials

People want proof that a product will work for them. They want proof that it has worked for other people. Give them what they want.

4. Under promise and over deliver.

5. People buy when fear is attached. Add "the fear factor" in your sales copy.

Let them know what they will lose out if they don't get your products or services now.
Career / Do Not Read This If You've Got Your Life All Sorted Out by AlaloBlessing06(f): 12:16pm On Aug 23, 2022
While reading tested advertising by John Caples, I got tired and decided to play my favorite game: "cooking joy."

I have been trying to pass a difficult level for a while now and hopefully I did it yesterday.

But that's not the point.

It dawn on me this morning how this game relates to our lives and our businesses.

In the game, I run a large restaurant and meet all sort of clients.

I'll mention a few.

The guy who never smiles and get angry when his orders are or aren't given to him on time.

He is always grumpy, but the best thing about this client is that he always gives me tips.

And then another who is always looking for freebies and so on.

This is how it is in our every day life and businesses.

There are customers like the ones I listed above in your businesses.

For example Mr grumpy, If you were to sell something to him, he is going to stress you and disagree with you a lot.

But the best part is that he is going to refer you to others and give you tips.

After each level, I earn coins and gems.

There was a time I was playing and I couldn't unlock a new level. I tried and tried but all to no avails.

I got really frustrated and didn't play the game for a while.

I decided to go back to it and try to fix what I was doing wrong and after a few tries, I unlocked that level and got rewarded with prizes.

That is how it is going to be in life.

There will always be obstacles and challenges.

You will feel like giving up at one point.

That is why it's important to know your "WHY."

"Why should you not smoke?"

"Why should exercise be a daily routine for you?"

Nothing gets solved by abandonment. FIX IT.

If you keep doing something the same way, you'll keep getting the same results.

Ask yourself why you continued to fail and correct them.

The last point is something that made me write this.

It is that after all the challenges, the failures, the frustrations and blows, you are REWARDED.

After getting so much coins and tips, I still put it back in my business.

But why?

It made my job easier.

My food cooks faster and I could attend to my customers on time.

Invest in your business.

ASK FOR HELP.

You can't do everything by yourself.

Focus on the 20% that moves the needles and employ people to do the remaining 80%.

Keep pushing

I'm rooting for you

Build relationships first before selling.

People only buy from people they know, like and trust.

Add value before selling.

Copywriting Guide For Beginners

I'm sure you've seen and heard a lot about copywriting.

Now if you want to give this a chance, there are 6 important steps you need to take before you find a client who will want to give you their money.

If you are looking forward to ignite your freelance copywriting business, then this is the right place to be.

Let's go into the 6 steps. Step no 6 will blow you away.

Step 1: Study. Learning never stops.

If you want to be successful in the copywriting world, you need to study. Listen to podcasts, read copywriting books, watch videos content on copywriting.

Step 2: Practice.
Knowledge is power but knowledge with implementation is more powerful. Practice writing copy but remember your first attempts to copywriting will be bad and that's ok.
"You got to write crappy before you write copy"- Alex Cattoni.

Step 3: Find a community.
Connect with community who share the same goals as you. E.g Facebook groups, pages, Quora etc.

You are definitely going to need support or ask questions and you need the right people to answer them. You need to engage with the people in the groups. You need to be active and real so that people will always be willing to reply.

4. Write your elevator pitch.
Pay close attention to this. Your pitch needs to be quick and shows you as a person who can help clients reach their goals.
Pick a niche. To choose one, ask yourself what you enjoy researching and writing about.

Who Do You Serve?
Do you want to help local businesses? Do you want to coach an author? Get specific on who your idea clients will be.

How Do You Do It?
What services will you offer? Will you do emails, sales copy, social media etc ?
When you get specific, it actually helps you find and land clients.

5. Start building your portfolio and profile.
Now it's time to organize all the practice you've been doing. You can create one on Google drive. it's free and easy to create.
All you need to do is show clients you know what you are doing

6. Get visible.
This is the step where you put yourself out there and start looking for clients. Go to social media platform and start having value driven conversations. Make it super clear who you are and what you do. You have to connect with the right people.

Let people around you know what you do.
Career / What Is Copywriting? How Do I Get Started? by AlaloBlessing06(f): 3:34am On Aug 08, 2022
What Is Copywriting? How Do I Get Started?

You're reading this because you're interested in learning more about copywriting and how to get started.

I'm about to reveal to you a knowledge that will forever change your financial situation.

There aren't many persons in the world that are good in this skill.

Once you have mastered this unique skill, you won't ever have to worry about money again.

The ability to earn cash, build, start, or expand whatever business you want is what copywriting is all about.

Copywriting is the skill of using written words to influence and convince readers to act right away.

Copywriting has a lot to do with selling and closing a sale rather than writing.

Despite being among the top paid professions in the world and a multi trillion dollars industry, most people aren't even aware of it.

Take a look around. Every single thing you buy today were all the result of the work of a copywriter who developed the idea, created the brand, and created the message that convinced you to buy.

Everything in your life—is a copy.

I'll use this as an example. Let's imagine that there is a company selling a product online.

Let's assume that the product generates $100,000 yearly and that it converts at a rate of 1%, which means that for every 100 visitors that visits the page of the company, one customer buys.

If you are a copywriter and you have the ability to look at the page and make some changes. This page now convert at a rate of 3 percent rather than 1 percent.

What have you done as a copywriter?

You've just increased this company's sales by three times, from $100,000 to $300,000, without spending any additional money on marketing.

All you have changed is the way the market is being told about the offer.

You might then ask, "This is really good, How Do I Become A Copywriter?"

You may desire to become a copywriter because you are aware of how much money you could make if you are good.

You could work from anywhere. You could work whenever, wherever, and with whomever you wanted.

You don't need to break a bank or a degree to be a copywriter.

Currently, in order to learn copywriting, you must have a mentor who is an expert in the field.

It is really hard to simply watch a video or read a book and say you are becoming a copywriter.

You need a mentor to show their skills to you, after which you practice them to get feedback and fix your mistakes so that you can finally do the same move exactly as they did.
