I was once a JAMB failure but now it is a story.

I did JAMB exam 4 times.

2013. 162
2014. 193( I gained admission to Polytechnic, )

After my ND in d Polytechnic in early 2017, I obtained JAMB again.

2017. 290 and 52% my aggregate was 62% no admission again.

2018. I was in HND1 then, I sat for JAMB again and I was offered admission with 283 in a Federal university in the north.

Admission is not easy in the country once u don't have connection but the children of d common man should not give up.

What are roles of "SPO"?

Feedback appreciated

Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO)
The SPO:
a) Supervises the conduct of poll in a cluster of Polling Units;
b) Assists in training Poll Officials under his/her supervision;
c) Ensures that all sensitive and non-sensitive election materials are available at
the designated Polling Units in the right quantity and at the right time;
d) Facilitates a refresher training for Poll Officials at the RAC/Super RAC to
perfect strategies for a smooth polling process including checking the Card
Readers for operational readiness.
e) Regularly visits Polling Units under his/her supervision to address issues
during the period of the elections;
f) Ensures that results of poll for designated Polling Units are delivered to the
Collation Officer by Presiding Officers;
g) Ensures the delivery of the Card Readers to the RA Collation Officer by the
Presiding Officer and retrieves it from him/her after collation;
h) Ensures that all election materials returned to him/her by the Presiding
Officers are submitted to the Electoral Officer immediately after election;
i) Liaises with Security Agents to ensure that order is maintained within the
Polling Units under his/her supervision;
j) Is accountable to the EO in the discharge of his/her duties;
k) Liaises with Polling Units and Elections Operations Support Centre (EOSC);

That means I would've been in school by now. :oIgnorance is really bad. The distance is much though.

Lolz.
D higher the UTME score, the higher the admission chance and state of origin plays important role.

Many people from Lagos are studying in UDUS, people from south south geopolitical zone are also found there, i am from south west, so distance should not be an obstacle.

2017 MBBS merit cutoff 290
2018 MBBS merit cutoff 250.

Admission in UDUS is usually base on UTME score only, if thing does not changed.

Admission is much easier in the core north .

Provided that you are from the school catchment. The two most competitive universities in Nigeria for 2 consecutive years, is located in the north.

You know that nearly everybody in d group has got admission so I think that is why d group is boring. As time goes on, I mean after JAMB exam, new group will emerged.
Just read very hard and smartly for JAMB exam as admission in UDUS is usually base on UTME score only.

Gone were those days when Polytechnics were practically oriented.

Any day any time pls always choose university over polytechnic, because at the end of everything u will realized that Nigeria system does not encourage technical education which is mostly obtained in Polytechnics.

2018/2019 cutoff mark..
Pls note that UDUS used only UTME score for this year(2018) admission.

Merit cutoff mark for
MBBS was 250
MLS, nursing and pharmacy merit cutoff mark was 240.
Radiography and vet med cutoff mark was 220.
Education less developed states and catchment area also have lesser cutoff mark than the above cutoff mark.

School fees in Usman danfodio university is based on department. departments like med n surgery, pharmacy, med lab, radiography n nursing science pay BTW 53k to 57k (accommodation not inclusive). other departments pay less.

Sch fees is actually #54,800 for 100level MLS, nursing, radiography, pharmacy and MBBS students in UDUS for 2018/2019 session, but other people paid lesser fees just like u have explained above..

The school is a federal university for God sake that usually give admission to every tribes in Nigeria. In the few weeks that I spent there I have met people from almost every region in the country.
