Which mother will give birth and let her child out to be roaming like a cattle without headsman? Almajiri system is totally unacceptable in this generation and every man with his right sense should condemn it even cattle have someone guiding and leading them, but this one someone will carry plates and be roaming the streets from morning till dawn and some may end up not eating anything for that day, some of you condemning my statement what if you are the almajiri and you did not eat for that day what will come into your mind is not to create chaos and cause more problem to the society?
Let stop it jor
If government don't want to curb Almajiri I think this will... I guess you don't know those northerners well. Almajiri is their culture they cannot do without it just like d way the kids from your region cannot do without education. RIP to the boy if there is somewhere they call heaven in reality. |

jamesharryson: The whites have damaged our religion!!! Before the coming of the whites to Nigeria, our religion was one of the best in the whole world. We pay tithes in our own little way. We give offerings and we sow seeds. We value all these things but not to the detriment of our well beings!!! We don't pack all our sweat to one man in the name of him mediating for us. Not that we don't give to the priests! But we give out of our lots and not all we had. But now, the whites have enslaved our mindsets and our thoughts. We now believe in Daddy GO's and Mummy intercessors. We now borrow to sow seeds. We now borrow to give tithes. We borrow to give offerings. Whites!!! You have really poisoned us.
Coming to beliefs, I am sure there are so many beliefs we had that always worked for us. All these had been killed and buried long ago by the so called whites!!! Our great oracles, stolen by the same whites! The ones they cannot steal, they trick us into selling to them! What do they need the oracles for, if I may ask? Many will tell the same lies the whites used to convince us into selling our Chi to them!! The lie is that they will preserve them in the museum. Hahahahaah!!! Which museum? And why packing our great oracles and sacred sculptures to your "holy and civilized" museums? And if those oracles are so useless as you termed it, why spending heavily to purchase them? Why, I still inquire? Or is it that you people love spending on frivolities? The whites have divided us along the religion line. We doubt the truths that have been handed down to us right from generations immemorial, only to accept some fictitious stories that only talks about a particular country. The Holy books given to us as a guide line is the history of one country, how they fought their enemies, how they won and even how they were defeated, including their mythical beliefs on the cause of their defeats. We queued into the lies and idolized them, throwing our histories and legendary stories from our ancestors into the trash cans. When these whites think that we are trying to doubt the authenticity of their lies, they came up with a rubbish story that a part of us came all the way from Israel and are residing here. We sheepishly believed them!!! And they kept sucking us dry. If we really belong to the part they claimed we came from, why didn't we see our name in that their history/holy book? why was it only the names of their towns were embedded their? The whites have really dealt with our mindsets and thoughts!!! We became happy, living as a borrowed life
Which will I count and leave others? Our culture became useless just because we came in contact with the whites!!! Our people no more value our wears, our foods, our behaviours and even our languages. Our kids no more speak our mother tongue just in a bid to make the whites happy. Indeed, we have been hypnotized by the whites and their charms caught us!!! We no more feel bad when committing these crimes against our motherland. We don't even value our marriage!! Our youths are not married until they do the "white" marriage. What Nonsense, even after fulfilling all our traditional rites. Indeed, we are ordinary clay in the hand of the whites (Our "sculptors" . They use us anyhow they want and dump us in the trash can when they think we are no more useful to them.
If I may remind you, These same white people we are worshiping, came firstly as traders, as our business partners and we traded by means of trade by barter. They gave us peanuts and packed our resources down to their own country to establish themselves. When they noticed that we are not getting more stupid, we no more allow them use our brains in the trade by barter system they introduced to us. we agitated over the small thing they give us in exchange of much things they take from us, so they went back to their country and returned, this time, no more as our business partners but as slave traders. They captured the strong among us and transport them to their countries to become their slaves. They even encouraged our fathers to sell the stubborn ones to them as slaves, which because of ordinary peanuts, they agreed to sell out their great minds. At the point where they knew we are becoming more intelligent, we no more buy the stories of their slave trading, in order to still remain relevant to us, the same traders, slave masters, turned and became the missionaries! I don't blame the whites for using us this much. But I blame us for having allowed ourselves for having acknowledged that we are being used this much |

I am currently living in the northern Nigeria and I don't think it is wrong to say that my university environment is one of the universities in the northern Nigeria with highest number of Almajiris( they have special name here, male is yaro and female is yarinya)
Those kids do not, grow up with any parental care apart from 1 yr breastfeeding from their mother, is not an uncommon occurrence here to see a kid that is likely to be less than 5 years old selling pure water with the gain of #5 under high temp that usually reach 44°C at times. They are living a very difficult life. I usually feel sad about the living conditions of those kids and I must say their parents are very wicked and heartless but those kids are very happy with there situations.
I strongly believe that, if the religion believe that put those children in bondage, failed at a particular time in history to keep making them believe that they are really born to suffer, then those kids will caused more doom for northern Nigeria later in future.
Northern elders need to do something about this issue or else karma will soon come after them. |

Education › Re: Many corrupt Nigerian leaders started with exam fraud - JAMB by Alanine1123: 6:09pm On Jul 15, 2019 |
Cantonese: JAMB itself is a misnomer. A very unwise institution of the military governments to provide opportunity for those in the north who refused to go schools. The military governments - applying the quota system - used JAMB to favour the north, yet the educational gap has not reduced. The refusal of the northern indigenes to get educated grows everyday.
The policies of the past military governments backed by the greedy politicians has put this nation in this terrible situation.
Before JAMB students would round up their class five and get their HSC. If you passed your HSC you got admitted into the university. It was not easy passing the HSC then and the governments wanted it to be easy. Government scrapped those and yet allowed 'direct entry' for those who through other methods got the minimum requirements for admission into universities. The result is what we have today with half baked graduates everywhere. Bad doctors, engineers, lawyers, architects, accountants, scientists, etc.
JAMB should first purge itself of corruption before openly telling us of our leaders. When JAMB question papers leak before examinations is it the leaders who do it? Can we ever know how much bribe was collected by JAMB officials to compromise the process?
Today we are told that we have very bad judges. Very good lawyers with very good cases lose them because bad judges are there to give compromised judgements. That's what we read in the papers everyday.
President Buhari did not need JAMB/degree to become the petroleum minister/state governor/head of state/head of PTF/president. All that counted for his was his intergrity. May God bless u. Up till together Nigeria government is still cheating people from the southern Nigeria by setting higher cutoff of mark for southern aspirants and lower cutoff mark for the northern aspirants. Scam of 20% admission quota for the northern Nigeria aspirants in every Federal tertiary institutions by using education disadvantage as reason is also evil. Highest Number of federal tertiary institutions in Nigeria is in the North yet they are education disadvantage. Because of the two reasons above, the Nigeria federalism to me is evil. |

Charleys: Nice moves
Osun state wanted to do this because they didn't have money to renovate schools but some yoruba muslims rejected it and I'm sure aregbesola will always regret why he didn't make that decision.
The Muslims who don't want the yoruba race to be educated will go against this move just like in Osun.
They'll be shouting hijab up and down. Before you know it Fayemi will cower. Ekiti state is different from Osun because Muslim population is very low in Ekiti unlike Osun |

Governor of Taraba state is fulani Christian not Hausa 18. Governor of Nasarawa state is fulani not Hausa. 19. Governor of Borno State is a Fulani origin not pure kanuri. 20. All major imams in all the Northern states are all Fulanis not Hausa 21. All Emirs in all the core Northern states are ALL FULANIS not HAUSA, because the fulanis KILLED all Hausa Kings, high chiefs and replaced all Hausa Kings with fulani as Sultan and Emirs after the genocide in the core north by fulanis. 22. All former President of the zoo called Nigeria from the north were either Fulanis or back by fulanis not one is Hausa. 23. Hausas are not allowed to become a Sultan, Emirs, major mosque imams, state Governors, or President of Nigeria. 24. Fulanis have finished the Hausas and rendered them useless and slaves to themselves. 25. President Buhari's CABALS are all fulani no hausa. 26. President Buhari's security chiefs are all Fulanis no Hausa. Below is a Summary of How Fulani conquered the Hausa Tribe. . . Usman dan Fodio assembled a Fulani army to lead in jihad against the Hausa kingdoms of the north of the zoo called Nigeria. The forces of Usman dan Fodio slowly took over more and more of the Hausa kingdoms, capturing Gobir in 1808 and executing Yunfa. The war resulted in the creation of the Sokoto Caliphate, headed by Usman dan Fodio, which became one of the largest states in Africa in the 19th century. His success inspired similar jihads in Western Africa. The Hausa had established well organised city states before the advent of the Fulani. These states included Katsina, Daura, Kano Zazzau (Zaria), Biram, Gobir and Borno. Some of these were conquered and re-established by the Fulani. A few other kingdoms such as Katagum, Hadejia and Gombe were founded. The coming of the Fulani into Hausaland resulted in significant changes in the area. They brought the full force of Islam which became a great factor of social life and culture. In education, dress, taste and outlook, the Hausa and their Fulani conquerors became part of the Islamic culture world. This influence remains till today. Today Hausas are only used as foot soldiers by their new master's the fulanies. This is what Fulanis want to replicate in other parts of Nigeria. Fulanis, very vicious, crafty, cunning, cruel, brutal, unforgiving and power mongers. The point to be noted about the Fulani conquest of all the Hausa kingdoms is that, it would have been absolutely impossible had many Hausas in the Hausa kingdoms did not join hand with the Othman Dan Fodio to fight against their kings and leaders whom they accused of being corrupt, which led to total collapse of all Hausa kingdoms. Othman Dan Fodio replaced all Hausa Kings (Zakis) with Fulani Sultan and Emirs and rule over them. Before the Fulani invasion, Hausas were the great merchants of the great Trans-Sahara trade, but today, they have become beggars (almajiris), slaves, useless, less than second class citizens in their own ancestral land, and their Fulani rulers continue to use Islamic religion to make them believe that it is the will of God for them to be poor and beggars. This is the MODEL that Buhari is determined to introduce throughout the length and breadth of Nigeria, with a lot of supporters among the Yorubas both inside and outside the country. |
