Hello house,

Can anyone please guide & tell me how much is needed as ACCOUNT BALANCE for a TOURIST VISA of 7days.

I've been denied VISIT VISA twice on account of CONTRADICTORY INFORMATION FROM HOST. Now, I want to make a 3RD APPLICATION, and I'm thinking of going as a tourist. What do you suggest

E no easy. It has come down to this, tourist visa that used to be 2-3 weeks is now going 3 months.

THE MOST PAINFUL PART IS THAT, AFTER WAITING FOR SO LONG, THEY MIGHT STILL LOOK FOR A FLIMSY EXCUSE TO DENY PERSON. They don't even worry themselves to call people anylonger for clarification. They will just deny the person outrightly. I ONLY SEE THAT AS NOTHING ELSE BUT SELFISH WICKEDNESS.

I want to know if its possible to make payment for the Visa fee before going for submission at VFS. Or the payment must be made on the submission date?

Also, can the application be done now when the proposed date is 19th September considering the delay in the process.

According to my experience
ANSWER NO 1. – You can only make payment by cash at the VFS Centre on the submission date.

ANSWER 2. – It's better to make your application earlier than later. There is no point delaying your application as long as u have all ur documents ready.

BUT, YOU NEED TO START PRAYING FROM NOW SO THAT THEY WON'T LOOK FOR A CUNNING LIE TO TRY & DENY YOU. I guess that's their new strategy now. They only get away with all these kind of trash in Nigeria. GOD HELP THIS COUNTRY or maybe fractionalization is even the way forward for this country now. Who knows??

Received my passport from courier yesterday & was DENIED again for the 2ND TIME running. VISIT VISA for just 7DAYS & I was denied for just for a flimsy excuse which states CONTRADICTORY INFORMATION FROM HOST IN RSA.

I TERM IT AS A LIE from RSA Consular. If one is being invited by an ORGANIZATION & not an INDIVIDUAL, how possible is it for you to call them from here & expect anyone who picks the phone to know about it.

I SUSPECT MAYBE THIS RSA EMBASSY OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED IS BEGINNING TO LIE.
House, pls what do you think someone like me can do?
I really need to be there on or before September.

I reapplied for a VISIT VISA on the 6th of May scheduled for July & I also met a brother who was equally applying for a VISIT VISA that same date.

The brother later contacted me to notify me he had gotten his result since 23rd of May. Which is just a span of 17days. I was amazed, this is fast. Though, he was denied the VISA on the ground that he was not registered for the event he intends to attend. I don't know how that came about anyway.

But till now, I'm still yet to get my own result.
Pls, what is actually causing this varieties in getting the feedbacks & results, why do some get faster than others?

Please i need your expert guidance on SA Visa application.

After some series of online assessment and skype interview, i have been invite for another phase of job interview in SA.

I have seen on the VFS site that they have a Visa category for interview: http://www.vfsglobal.com/southafrica/nigeria/interviews.html

We have agreed on a temporary date of June 11th for the interview, though i may reschedule a week before (especially if i dont get my visa before that time)

The coy has provided me with an invitation letter (letter says i will be attending a job interview with them and wont stay more than 10 days, specific dates not included) and a non paid flight/hotel booking booked for June 9th,10th, and 11th (they will be responsible for both).

I have also obtained a generic introduction letter from my current employer (also without date of arrival and departure and purpose of visit).

I also intend to include my GTbank salary account statement with Just 70K balance and My Stanbic Mutual Fund statement with about 3M balance (I can move money from the stanbic account within 24 hours, but dont want to do so, so that it doesn't appear like a lump sum deposit in my salary account).

I will also include Marriage cert and Kids birth cert and a self introduction letter.

Will all this be enough to get them to grant the visa for 3 days.

What is the implication if the visa was not granted before June 11th, will they because the date of the interview has passed and deny the Visa?
even though the coy will allow me reschedule the interview as long as i have my visa.

Also advise if there is any other thing i can include to make this work.

Alternatively, someone has advised that i go to a tourist visa stating that i am going on vacation.

For this, he said i should just include the following:

self intro letter
Introduction letter from employer
i should look for one or two tourist location to visit
Request for 10 days
Include both bank statements
Book for non paid hotel and flights directly online.

Then once the visa is granted, the i can now re-schedule the interview and go for the interview.


For both , i need your advise on the best approach as i intent to submit application on Friday or Monday.

I re-applied on Monday 6th May for a Visit to South Africa - Religious Conference slated for July 8 - July 16.

I was denied this same visa last month on the ground that “EVENT DATE HAS PASSED”... But that was my first experience and the distance then between my travel date & application date was just 3 weeks.

But now, this is my second attempt and with an 8 weeks interval.
Submission Date: May 6
Travel Date: July 8.

HOUSE, what do you think? DO YOU FEEL THE TIME FRAME IS ENOUGH FOR ME TO GET APPROVED. Thank you!

I NEED TO SUBMIT A FRESH APPLICATION TOMORROW, MONDAY MORNING AT VFS, LAGOS. AND THE ONLY DOCUMENT REMAINING TO COMPLETE MY FILE IS THE FLIGHT RESERVATION.

I received a suggestion that I could do it at the business centres around VFS, but I don't know how reliable those people are.

SO, I THINK IT'S WISE TO RECEIVE A BETTER ADVICE FROM YOU GUYS, ON THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT IT. I'm actually in need of the best cost effective method.

You reserve a space which will be cancelled in 24hours when payment is not made

Except you mean booking for hotel (hotel reservations).

I’m having a serious problem and I want the house to help me out.

I submitted my tourist visa using the VIP section on 25th of March at vfs lagos centre. My question is this.
I lost my reference number through my phone and this has been difficult for me to track my application, so i had to travel from osun state ( Ile-Ife ) to vfs Lagos centre along with the photocopy of my international passport but I wasn’t allow to go in by the security mobile police and nothing yet in my email nor phone calls. Pls house how can I go about this.

This is the 6th weeks and next week will make it 7th weeks pls house am fed up

I'm presently at this same location of yours (Ile-Ife, Osun State). I'm planning to go re-apply for my visa on Monday with this same VIP section.

Pls, are you saying the VIP has no effect at all on the visa processing? And pls, if you don't mind can you inbox me your number?

I think your passport should be available for collection. There might be error in the e-mail, don't dwell on it.

Because I couldn't imagine mine own visa was rejected on account of date passed and yours was granted.

500k minimum is okay. You need to book a return flight but you do not need to pay for it, book the flight a day before you submit your application.

Pls, how can I book the flight without paying? The last time I was charged over 10k for flight itinerary. Thank You!

Good day everyone, I submitted my South Africa visa application at VFS Lagos 13th February, 2019 and till date no feedback. Although I do track it online but since last week the tracking page doesn't provide me any information. It just load and stop. I paid for courier too and I've heard nothing form any angle.

On the day of my submission, we were notify that there will be a week delay in the processing and we need to told. Today makes it 10 weeks and a day. I've called the helpline but it keeps dropping the moment I select option of speaking with customer Representative and I've also mailed them but no response. What do I need to do please?

Mine came in after 11 weeks. Chill, just be rest assured that within today and next week...delivery agent will call you.

I WAS ACTUALLY REJECTED MY VISIT ON THE GROUND THAT MY EVENT INVITATION DATE HAS PASSED. But I want to re-apply with a new event date next week. I JUST HOPE THIS TIME WILL NOT TAKE SO LONG AGAIN... I'm considering using the VIP to re-apply.

Now, I want to re-apply. I will only contact the church to send me another invitation letter & extending the date further to 8weeks to this time, so that the processing can go through before then.

I APPLIED IN LAGOS! All the way from Osun State my brother, and I also registered for courier service but no show still.

Despite submitting a LETTER OF INVITATION scheduled for 25th February 2019. I still have gotten no response from the SA embassy till date. Though I submitted my application on 8th February, but I thought it was hassle free once you have all the necessary documents intact.

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING. It just makes me feel bad about my Nationality, because I see this as intimidation.

WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THIS MESS... Nigeria or South Africa??

For the MTK Backups, you'll need to Flash using SP Flash Tool. Follow
this guide.
SP Flash tool is an application you could find very useful in fixing
extreme cases of a bricked MTK Android (e.g Tecno, TLC, Gionee, Infinix,
Opsson, Innjoo, Lead1 etc) like the phone not coming on at all or not
booting into recovery mode etc. Lets get started:
What you'll need
* A PC
* USB Cord
* The phone you wish to flash the files to
* Scatter file ( Scatter file should already be contained in Stock MTK
Backup so ignore this. If you still cant find it then Download

Infinix scatter files

Procedure
Lets get started:
1. Remove the battery from the phone and slot it back in without booting
the phone (If the battery is irremovable then simply switch if off)
2. Launch SP Flash Tool
2b. Click on options at the top and make sure USB Mode is enabled.
3. Click on Scatter-loading by the right
4. In the window that pops up, select the scatter file for your phone then
click open (scatter file is a text file with the word "scatter" in its name )
5. A list should appear (preloader, mbr, ebr etc)
5b. If usrdata and cache are unticked and you need them, then backup a
working phone of the same model using MTK droid tools version 2.3.4
with the "Backup userdata and cache" option selected.
------ Step 6 is only for if you wish to format the phone. Skip it if you
don't wish to format -----
6. (optional) If you wish to wipe the phone, click format
6b. (optional) After clicking format, a dialogue box will pop up, ensure
that 'Auto Format Flash' and 'Format whole flash without bootloader' are
selected
6c. (optional) click OK, Stop should now be red in color while Format
should be grey in color
6d. (optional) Connect your switched off phone via USB cord, a progress
bar should load till you get a 'Success' message (green circle)
6e. (optional) Disconnect the phone
7. Tick the box beside Preloader (if you wish to flash it) then double-
click preloader
8. In the window that pops up, select the preloader.bin file
9. Repeat this step for all the other files you wish to flash (dont tick any
you dont wish to flash)
10. After selecting all the files you wish to flash, click 'Download' (with
an arrow above it)
11. Stop should now be red in color, connect the switched off phone to
the PC via USB
12. A progress bar should run till you get a 'Success message' (green
circle)
13. Disconnect the phone, remove the battery for 15 seconds, slot it back
in then power up the phone
14. If the phone doesn't come on, then flash preloader.bin also.
15. Do a data wipe if requested to after booting.
* Note:
If you get any error in SP Flash tool or the phone still didn't work after
flashing then Holla at me

bros, abeg how can I flash my tecno r7 with sp flash tool? I did a backup with mtk droid tools before i installed cyanogenmod11 custom rom. Now, I want to flash back to my stock rom. I've tried every tin I could but my device won't just display on the sp flash tool! I should have used clockworldmod recovery to do my backup, it would have been more easier to revert to stock. This sp flash tool proceedure is kinda complicated.

I got my R7 sometimes last year and i've been using the phone ever since without no problem, until I decided to install cm11 early this month and some gestures and features of the default rom stopped working. Before i installed the custom rom (cm11), i backed up my phone with mtk droid tools and clockworldmod recovery but now i can't locate the clockworld mod backup anymore and i'm left with only the mtk droid tools backup on my pc. Now, to flash my R7 back to the stock rom with sp flash tool has been my headache since. the flash tool doesn't recognise my phone and I dnt knw how to go further anymore.
