Hello Guys,

What do you think about getting a room in a basement apartment in Oshawa that is 40 mins away from Ontario Tech and cost $600 CAD per month?

I am a bit sceptical that the entire apartment is in a basement coupled with the fact that transportation will be an extra cost.

What do you guys think ? as I don't have much options when it comes to accomodation.

From the research I have done so far, the price tickets seems to be cheaper on Wakanow website than the airline website.

My question now is, how reliable is Wakanow for booking flight ticket ?

How did you go about the accomodation on bookings.com ?

Because I thought you have to book with the hotels directly rather than through 3rd party apps ?

The accomodation is just for quarantine right ?

Can someone please provide me with the steps to submit my passport for stamping and get it back quickly?

I have started lectures remotely since May 3rd and it has not been easy at all.

I used gcmsonline, just google them. The one i applied for on 1st April arrived yesterday, that was before my approval.

I believe they’re all the same ie 30 days and above. Takes much more longer these days.

I’ll advise that if you have someone in Canada to order it for you then do so cos that’s the fastest way, and cheaper too I believe.

You can await others input as well.
