Congrats Thelma, I have tried sending you mails twice, can you please respond? I want to ask you some questions. thelma76: Hello Lovely People ! An update I owe to this platform, following my previous post and your words of encouragement, j’ai repasse l’examen le 10 Juin et par la grace de Dieu, c’est termine!
CO 505 C1 CE 518 C1 EO 13 B2 EE 13 B2
I have said this story so many times, so I’d spare you the details. I’d close this with three points:
1. It’s definitely attainable! I heard about this French route a few years ago but I kept telling myself “nahh, the scores would go down, I shouldn’t have to go to this length or kill myself this much”. Last year confirmed this wouldn’t be the case with the trend of the draws, and I had to dive into action. All thanks to people who shared their timelines and stories honestly on this platform to encourage others. I saw it was possible for others juggling job, family, and many other things and figured I could do this also.
2. Find a community! This is super important. This journey is challenging especially for English speakers, starting from scratch (A0,A1 etc). It is not one of those things or hurdles you navigate privately ooo 😂, it is emotionally and mentally arduous. Thus, you need ALL the support you can get (from relatable stories/experiences, astuces, conseils, and exam stories). One of the communities you can leverage is the Telegram group (I discovered this only after my first attempt). Shoutout to those amazing human beings!!! Madam Labelle, ma belle (in her words), you all are too too much! God Bless You!
3. Leverage all resources possible but don’t overwhelm yourself with them. Get a tutor that can guide you and narrow your focus on the most important tools/resources. My tutor was instrumental in this entire journey (I posted previously about this). If you can, try to enjoy the process. If you can’t enjoy it for whatever reason…. just focus on the target and do your best. Ca va aller. Que Dieu nous aide |

Re the passport refund: When you got your refund back then, was there any amount deducted from it like charges? For example, I paid $142 usd which was 193CAD ($130 usd was the fee, $12usd was service charge I think). When I got my refund, I only got $167.57cad back instead of $193cad. It is $25.43cad short/less. Did you experience anything like this? olasubomy: I just dug into my archive e-mail:
Send an e-mail to support@innovate1services.com on your interest to apply for 10 years. They will respond. Although, i followed up with refund@innovate1services.com on the refund. You would have to fill a form for the refund but they will guide you accordingly. |

olasubomy: No, it did not affect my appointment date. You would just need to re-apply for the 10 years. I remember doing that without any change to appointment date. You dont need to change your appointment date as far as i can remember.
The refund process took about 4 to 5 weeks before my account was credited. I am sending you a message via nairaland through email, please respond, I need to clarify some things. |

olasubomy: Ottawa embassy do issue 10yr passport. Got mine last December and they were very fast in delivery within 1 week. You will see it on their website if it is currently available. Just the same way you selected 5yrs, just select 10yrs if it is currently available.
I had the same predicament, first applied for 5 years and later had to apply for 10yrs. I was told to apply for the 10years afresh and seek for a refund of the payment for 5 years already made. Ohh damn, I'm not sure I will want to reapply again cus I got this my December appointment in July which was five month ago. My visa expires in May 2024 so I do not have much time. When you reapply for the 10 year fresh, when did you do it and when was the earlier appointment you got? Also, what was the process of seeking a refund and how long did it take to get the refund back? I would like to get the 10 year passport but if it will slow me down as regards to time, I would just forgo it for now. |

Hello guys,
I am scheduled to renew my Nigerian international passport at the Nigerian embassy in Ottawa in December. I applied for the 5 yr passport. However, I have changed my mind and would like to switch it to the 10yrs passport and pay the extra fee now that I have some extra money. I don't want to go through passport renewal again anytime soon. How can I go about this? |

My Nigerian passport expires in May 2024. I want to start working on the renewal from now. What is the most stress free way to renew my passport in Canada?
Without any issues.
Thanks |

Gerrard59: And a major reason she will accept your interest is because you reside in Canada. That is the hypergamy in relationships. You need to understand the world for what it is rather than what you think it should be. You are so obsessed with "hypergamy". Every woman is hypergamous whether here or in Nigeria. Every woman wants a man that is doing well and can take care of them when need be. So what you're saying doesn't matter. |

lawani: Trust me if you don't have a morally defensible reason for anything then you are courting Karma. Not that you won't get another person but it won't be the same quality. If the first one truly loves you the next one sent by Karma won't. That's how it works. What the Bleep are you talking about? I don't even express interest in girls of other races because I don't see a future with them and I have explained why. And you are talking about courting karma? You can't be serious. Everybody has what their preferences is. You better remove the karma fantasy from your brain cus it doesn't exist. If it did, all the terrible people in world wouldn't be living great lives but they are. |

Gerrard59: Young men these days still believe in love? What you have is hypergamical transaction in place. If you had say a US passport, those Nigerian ladies who declined your interest will swoon over you.
As it is, you bring nothing to the table. That is the truth. In fact, you don't have a table. Lmao, so the fact that I don't have money or car means I should give up Maybe I would just date someone back home, afterall I am traveling later this year. |

lawani: If you find a good girl well educated and well brought up that likes you and you because of her color did not encourage her, then the law of Karma says you are in for a long thing. Wish you the best. It's not about law of karma lmao. I'm not just open to dating someone seriously that doesn't share the same culture as me. For others it may be different. |

ednut1: you still be student abi? Even 9ja babes wey be student will run from a male student. Na stable and established guys most of them dey find. Manage the ones you see for now hahahahah black white green . You can try hinge and bumble. Yes, I was a student, just graduated. But trying to date here has been a struggle session. And even though I dated a white girl briefly, I don't see myself settling down with one, I prefer Nigerian girls but the ones I have met here have an attitude kinda like they are better than you. I don't have much rn i.e car house etc and currently interviewing for full time jobs but I don't think that should deter me from finding love. But I guess I am just not lucky. |
