SEVEN LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES TO LEARN FROM AN EAGLE....

1. Eagles fly Alone and at High Altitudes.
They don't fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds.

MEANING: Stay away from narrow-minded people, those that bring you down. Eagle flies with Eagles. Keep good company.

2. *Eagles have an Accurate Vision.* They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km away. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.

*MEANING*; Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacles and you will succeed.

3. *Eagles do not Eat Dead things. They Feed only on Fresh Prey.*

*MEANING*; Do not rely on your past success, keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.

4. *Eagles Love the Storm.*
When clouds gather, the eagle gets excited, the eagle uses the storms wind to lift itself higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagle uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree.

*MEANING*; Face your challenges head on knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges, rather they relish them and use them profitably.

5. *When a Female Eagle Meets a Male Eagle* and they want to mate, she flies down to earth, picks a twig and flies back into the air with the male eagle in hot pursuit. Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she drops the twig and let it fall to the ground while she watches. The male eagle chases after the twig and catches it before it reached the ground, then bring it back to the female eagle. The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a much higher altitude and drop the twig again for the male eagle to chase. This goes on for hours with the height increasing each time until the female eagle is assured that the male eagle has mastered the art of picking the twig which shows commitment. Then and only then will she allow him to mate with her.

*MEANING*; Whether in private life or business, one should test the commitment of the people intended for partnership.

6. *Eagles Prepare for Training;*
They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest.

*MEANING*; Leave your Comfort Zone, there is No Growth there.

7. *When the Eagle Grows Old,*
His feathers becomes weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as it should. This makes him weak and could make him die. So he retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, he plucks out the weak feathers on his body and breaks its beaks and claws against the rocks until he is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then he stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, new beaks and claws and then he comes out flying higher than before.

*MEANING*; We deliberately need to shed off old habit no matter how difficult, things that burden us and add no value to our lives should be let go of.

Once upon a time, a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant and he got it. The pay was really good and so was the work condition. For those reasons, the woodcutter was determined to do his best. His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he supposed to work. The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees. Congratulations, the boss said. Go on that way! Very motivated by the boss words, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he could only bring 15 trees.

The third day he tried even harder, but he could only bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees. I must be losing my strength, the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

When was the last time you sharpened your axe? the boss asked.

Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees...

Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don't take time to sharpen the axe. In todays world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever, but less happy that ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp? There's nothing wrong with activity and hard work. But we should not get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like our personal life, taking time to get close to our Creator, giving more time for our family, taking time to read etc. We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow.

If we don't take the time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness.

My girlfriend told me last night that it is over between us. I thought about it and I found out that life without her would be meaningless. So I decided to kill myself.

I jumped from my reading table to my very soft Mouka foam but I didn't die. I went to the express road and looked carefully before crossing the road
and nothing happened to me.

I drank four rubbers of lacasera with plenty suya but nothing happened,,I took a lot of mangoes
without swallowing the seeds,yet I didn't see hell!.

I proceeded to another level of concoction. I prepared gizzard and kidney sauce with strawberry juice and lots of fresh tomatoes,yet nothing happened to me. I ate cake,chocolate mixed with ice cream still I didn't die.

I am so worried now because I just finished eating fried rice with chilled Malta Guinness and fresh fruit salad but nothing has happened to me. I am really upset now.

Friends,what do I do? Should I try fried plantain and chicken with fresh milk? Will it work because
I really want to kill myself?

But, when it was time for God to make you, He took His time. God almighty created you in nine months. From the first day of your life He began his creative work in you.

For the next nine months He worked daily right inside your mothers womb. He was working just to make you perfect and unique. David understood this that's why he said in Psalm 139:13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mothers womb. Which also means God was thinking about you before you were even born. When God was through with His work on making you perfect and unique; just before your beautiful mother gave birth to you, God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good Gen 1:31 (KJV).

So think what a remarkable and miraculous thing it is to be you, God made you Himself. You are a product of Gods consistent, conscious and careful handiwork of nine months nonstop. Of all the people who have come and gone on the earth, since the beginning of time, not one of them is like you! No one who has ever lived or is to come has had your combination of abilities, talents, appearance, friends, acquaintances, burdens, sorrows and opportunities.

No ones hair grows exactly the way yours does. No ones finger prints are like yours. No one has the same combination of secrets, jokes and family expressions that you know. The few people who laugh at all the same things you do don't sneeze the way you do. No one prays about exactly the same concerns as you do. No one is loved by the same combination of people that love you. No one can reach out to others in the same way that you can. No one can speak your words. No one can convey your meanings. No one can comfort with your kind of comfort. No one can bring your kind of understanding to another person. No one can be cheerful and lighthearted and joyous in your way. No one can smile your smile. No one else can bring the whole unique impact of you to another human being.

God needs you because your purpose is unique. He has designed you specifically to meet his requirements. Enjoy that uniqueness. You do not have to pretend in order to seem more like someone else. You weren't meant to be like someone else. You do not have to lie to conceal the parts of you that are not like what you see in anyone else. You were meant to be different. Nowhere ever in all of history will the same things be going on in anyone's mind, soul and spirit as are going on in yours right now.

Treasure your uniqueness. Let it inform, nudge and inspire you. It is one reason why you should feel a sense of destiny and value. God designed you as you are for a purpose. You are not ordinary. Quit being negative and critical towards yourself and begin to enjoy the unique creation of God. YOU ARE UNIQUE!

Education is a life process of learning. It is quite different from schooling. The creators manual says in Proverbs 18:16 that “A mans gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. It is a tragedy when someone acquires education outside his/her area of gifting. Hope comes when such person re-traces his or her bearing to discover and develop his talent. Acquiring Education outside your talent only translates to a waste of time. Believe me; you will never get fulfilled because you are not in the right environment.

Everyone was gifted in an area. We are expected to function in that area/environment of our talent. There will our fulfillment be made manifest and off course, you will be providing leadership to others. Life becomes sweet when you discover your talents so early and acquire education in that area.

The Nigerian Pastor won't talk about Usain Bolt or Serena Williams.
They won't talk about late Dora Akunyili or Tony Elumelu.
The Nigerian pastor wont talk about Steve Jobs or the young people in Silicon Valley reshaping our world.
They won't talk about young American scientists spending endless hours in search of a cure to a disease that's predominantly in the Tropical African region.
The Nigerian pastor won't talk about Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Ben Okri.
In every corner of the world, there exist young men and women who has defiled all odds and became successful through hardwork, creativity and dedication...
The Nigerian pastor wont talk about them......neither will he ask his members to emulate the spirit of these individuals.
He would rather talk about sister Agatha who got a job she WAS NOT THE MOST QUALIFIED because she prayed and fasted in line with their church program.

Papa Miracle who he laid his hands on and 3 of his children got admission in the university
Or
Mama Esther paid her tithe and her business started growing everywhere across the nation......no business plan, just boom, everywhere.
This has led to a new breed of mentally lazy young people who now see God as a rewarder of mediocrity.
To the Nigeria Pastor,
the only way to prosper is by paying your tithe and sowing seeds in the church. So they will never talk about those who has through hardwork and dedication placed theirselves in the world map.
No......the Nigeria God only blesses the first 30 people that rush to the altar to drop 100,000 as seed.
The Nigeria God abhors hardwork and creative thinking, He only gives to those who sow seeds and offerings......and those who shout "i am a millionaire" every morning and do nothing the rest of the day.

Fear is to be worried or frightened that something bad might happen or might have happened. In the definition you will discover that might was the word used which means something will or will not happen. So why worry about something that is under probability. Fear is natural. Whenever you start a new project, take a new venture, or put yourself out there, there is usually fear. In fact, if you dont feel afraid the first time you are doing something, then that thing is not big enough and will not bring much into your life.

Unfortunately, most people let fear stop them from taking the necessary steps to achieve their dreams. Successful people, on the other hand, feel the fear along with the rest of us but they dont let it keep them from doing what they want to do. They understand that fear is something to be acknowledged, experienced, and taking alone for the ride. They have learned to feel the fear and do it anyway. You should always do the same whenever you face any challenge that is fearful feel the fear and do it anyway. Jack Canfield said Everything you want is on the other side of fear.

Fear wants you to run from things that are not after you. Fear can keep you from going where you could have won. So, do like the old saying Feed you fear and watch your fear starve to death.
