Career55 Notable Facts About Life And Business From The Mafia Manager by Alexbrain(op): 6:54am On Dec 22, 2016
Source: http://alexanderbusybrain..com

No matter what your occupation is, be it self-employed or corporate climber, getting ahead and staying ahead has long been a major concern of all who are not content with merely earning a living. In our eager, sometimes feverish, pursuit of personal pot of gold (and the power and prestige that comes with it), ambitious men and women have sought the knowledge of those who have achieved success before them.

The Mafia Manager provides for the first time in a book the knowledge and precepts of the ruthless bosses whose genius at organization and management contributed far more to profitability and growth than did the brute strength and recourse to violence of the common, unsophisticated gangster or the conventional wisdom of the legitimate CEO.

If you are an entrepreneur or business owner and you have not read The Mafia Manager, then you are probably denying yourself knowledge of some no-nonsense leadership and business management techniques for accelerated business growth.

Today, I want to share with you 50 Notable  quotes about life and business from The Mafia Manager. These quotes about life and business are just a tip of the iceberg with respect to what is contained in The Mafia Manager.

* If you think and act solely for your own benefit, you will reach the top.

* Beginner's rule - Keep your mouth shut, your eyes open, your fly zipped and do what you are told.

* He who can never endure the bad will never see the good.

* To survive, be patient - watch, listen and say little. To win, be patient - survive, plan, and then strike swiftly.

* What you can't buy, you can steal (but don't get caught), and what you can't buy or steal, you can beat out of someone, metaphorically, of course...

* Friends are not as important as family. Do not confuse the loyalty of friendship with the bond of blood.

* A man without enemies is a man without qualities. Even Jesus Christ had many enemies.

* If you can’t win by fighting fair, fight foul. Or have a third party do your fighting.

* God will provide, but you must provide till he does.

* A thousand enemies is not enough; a single enemy is. There is nothing as a ‘harmless’ enemy.

* The best friend of a hungry buzzard is a dead horse. That is in another way of saying; even the son of a bitch has his uses.

* Do business with strangers as if they were brothers and with brothers as if they were strangers.

* If you can genuinely and sincerely fake honesty, you'll be a success, never doubt it.

* The golden rule of business - Whoever has the most power makes the rules and takes the gold.

* Mind your own business, but keep your eyes on other successful businesses. If your neighbor gets up early, you get earlier.

* Never give business advice to another that doesn't profit you and your own interest.

* In the free enterprise system, it is big thieves hanging the little ones all the time.

* When you make an example of someone, make sure that everyone knows what the lesson is. Punish one, teach a hundred.

* Never worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow, you might inherit a million dollars or be run over by a truck. Or inherit a million dollars and be run over by a truck.

* You can be rich without knowing how to be powerful but you cannot be powerful without money.

* Business comes first, before anything else. Nothing gets in the way, not even wife or girlfriend.

* Don’t become involved in any office political battle without first asking yourself, ‘What’s in it for me?’ and then ‘What’s in it for them?

* If you must lie, be brief.

* For peace to reign, be ready for war.

* When stumped for a solution to a particularly difficult problem, look to the past for a solution.

* Be prepared for betrayal from anyone on your staff, but especially from those you have the most trust in. Every betrayal must be repaid as quickly and as publicly as possible. If you should let a betrayal go unpunished, you are through as a leader.

* Remember, not even a machine is 100 percent efficient. Don’t expect the humans who work for you to be.

* Don’t be too familiar with your followers; it may at first inspire affection but eventually, like all familiarity; it will breed contempt.

*Don’t encourage overtime. Tell your people that the best way to impress you is to do a great job in the time allotted for it and then go home and relax.

* Don't hire more than two members of the same household and never hire lovers, no matter how necessary their skills maybe.

* Never hire someone of the opposite sex in hopes of future erotic reward, unless all you want to do is look. But which of us ever stopped there?

Please be informed dat matching henceforth will now be immediate. Dis is done in d bid to fight d issue of fake POP. A statistic was taken from blocked participants who wrote to support to be unblocked and d reason dey gave is dat dey used up d money meant to PH because of d delay in matching. To avoid repeated disappointment of people not meeting up with their orders or people uploading fake POP, d system has chosen to match participants very quickly so it meets d money still in ur hands.

So I opened an account on MMM in the night around 8pm on Thursday 8th of December and immediately provided help with 50k.

Only for me to be called in the morning on Friday 9th of December by a man saying am to pay the sum of 45k into his account on that very day, I thought it was a joke and laugh it off, telling him that I just opened the account and that there is no way I would have been matched that quickly because I was told it takes about a week for you to be matched.

Moments after that another woman called saying am to pay 5k into her account courtesy MMM.

I was now forced to check my MMM account to see that I have been matched with both of them just few hours after I pledged to provide help, though I was given 90 hours which is already and still counting.

So my question is why was I matched that quickly and does the people am to pay really have to call and bug my life?

CareerHow The Desert Became Precious (inspiring Story) by Alexbrain(op): 6:24pm On Dec 03, 2016
“If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude”. - Maya Angelou

A young bride from the East during wartime followed her husband to a U.S Army camp on the edge of the desert in California. Living conditions were primitive at best, and her husband had advised against her move, but she wanted to be with her newly wedded husband. The only housing they could find was a run-down shack near an Indian village.

The heat was unbearable in the daytime - 115˚ in the shade. The wind blew constantly, spreading dust and sand all over everything. The days were long and boring. Her only neighbours were Indians, none of whom spoke English. When her husband was ordered farther into the desert for two weeks of maneuvers, loneliness and the wretched living conditions got the best of her. She wrote to her mother that she was coming home. She couldn’t take it anymore.

In a short time she received a reply which included these two lines, “Two men looked through prison bars; one saw mud, the other saw stars”. She read the lines over and over again and began to feel ashamed of herself. She didn’t really want to leave her new husband. All right, she thought, she is going to look for the stars. In the following days she set out to make friends with the Indians, asking them to teach her weaving and pottery. At first they were distant, but as soon as they sensed her genuine interest, they returned her friendship. She became friendly with their culture and history – in fact, everything about them. She began to study the desert, it too changed from a desolate, forbidding place to a marvelous thing if beauty.

She had her mother send her books. She studied the forms of cacti, the yuccas and the Joshua trees. She collected sea shells that had been left there when the sands had been an ocean floor. Later, she became such an expert on the area that she wrote a book
about it.

Wayne Dyer said “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change”. We are individually responsible for our view of life. Whenever you are in a difficult situation ask yourself this question “What is the positive side of this thing, what is the good in this situation or what is the possibility that this thing will work out?” Our minds is our garden, our thoughts are the seed, so we can choose to plant flowers or weeds but remember the Bible says “Whatever a man sows, this he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

What had changed? Not the desert; not the Indians. Simply by changing her mind-set she had transformed a miserable experience into a highly rewarding one. She had turned a dusty and hot desert into a precious one.

CareerThe World Greatest Winner Of Friends by Alexbrain(op): 8:07pm On Nov 25, 2016
“A person can learn a lot from a dog, even a loopy one like ours. Marley taught me about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following your heart. He taught me to appreciate the simple things-a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, and a nap in a shaft of winter sunlight. And as he grew old and achy, he taught me about optimism in the face of adversity. Mostly, he taught me about friendship and selflessness and, above all else, unwavering loyalty”. - John Grogan

Have you ever stop to think that a dog is the only animal that does not have to work for a living? A hen has to lay eggs, a cow has to give milk, a canary has to sing, a bee has to give honey and an ant has to work its ass off all day not even sleeping at night. How then does the dog manage to do this must be the question in your mind right now. Well the dog does this my being genuinely interested in man and being the best friend of man. The dog is the greatest winner of friends the world has ever known.

When you met him, while walking down the street even when you are ten feet from him, he will begin to wag his tail. If you stop and pat him he will almost jump out of his skin to show you how much he likes you. You see it in his eyes that he genuinely loves you. And you know that behind this show of affection on his part, there are no ulterior motives. He does not want to sell you any real estate; he does not want to marry you and he is not expecting a bribe from you. But all these he does because he loves and is genuinely interested in you.

Yes, the dog stays awake to guard you in the night while you sleep, comfort you when the world has left you, go on errands for you, follow you everywhere you go even when you don’t it to come along and protects you not because you are going to pay it at the end of the month. A dog won’t forsake its master because of his poverty. But because he is your friend and is genuinely interested in you.

Dale Carnegie wrote "You can make more friends in two months by becoming more interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get people interested in you" Another way to establish a good relationship with people and win them over to your side is to truly interested in them, to listen with the intention of really learning about them. Smile at them. Learn their names and how to pronounce them. Get the spelling and the titles right. Be curious about other people, what they feel, how they think, how they see the world, what are their hopes, dreams and fears? What are their aspirations? Notice what makes them happy and unhappy. When people feel that you are really interested in getting to know them and their feeling, they will open up to you and share their true feelings with you much more quickly.
