You cant deposit More than $10,000 (equivalent) which is about €8,800....at once.

Note: for those tranfering to your German account ask the person sending to send all once.(that's while transferring) . They would always want to break it and send twice so you pay your charges twice. I used Access and insisted I wanted it sent once.

does access bank allow one time deposit of €8,800 because I know gtbank doesn't, or did you fund your domiciliary account with dollars then the bank did the conversion, and how much were you charged for the transaction by access bank. please can you break it down

He can use Access bank,I used access bank they don’t have any limit,I deposited the whole amount at once and transferred it to my Fintiba, took 2 days to get my Fintiba

They will not give you a specific figure, only a range. The price changes per day/ hour. They will use the price at the point of converting your naira. That is if it will work for blocked account.

Fidelity Bank allows form A to be used to fund block account(i.e upkeep /living allowance) but the problem is not getting furnished with the prevailing rate as at the period of my inquiry. See the requirement for funding the block account through Fidelity Bank below

Sorry i am unable to reply your PM, i am still seriously weighing different option now because of the uncertainty of fidelity bank exchange rate for the form A, I was able to contact their customer care to inquire about the exchange rate for form A but it seems they are hoarding the exchange right which to me is discouraging because i can't make such a transaction without knowing the exchange rate. As at the moment i am moving from bank to bank to find out the cheapest means of funding the block account. once i succeed i will pass the massage across here to the benefit of every one. I was told if i fund by Thursday it will get to them by Tuesday. As per exchange rate for form A, the person i spoke to at the bank wasn't sure of it as the main transaction is done in their head office. So hopefully by Thursday i will get to find out when submitting the form and other document for the transaction

I was asked to come back to get the cbn rate for form A and the possibility of funding up-to 8829euros for upkeep.. I will update you all on that soon

Update on the verification of funding block account with form A
I was told that i can fund upto 5000 dollars quarterly, and 20,000dollars per annum for upkeep, Although the person i spoke to was not too sure if it will be possible to fund my entire block account at once. He further said their head office will decide on that and he was optimistic and requested i submit the requirement that everything is possible.
NOTE : I had to explain how the block account works, that a certain amount is released per month usually from 700 to 720 euros as the case might be which of course is less than the 5,000 dollars quarterly and 20,000 dollars annually. I told him i was going to put up a strong authorization letter and other necessary document to backup the form A which he also agreed i do so.

that's not certification booking cos even certification booking comes with proper heading and most times it's 8am and there's always a link for cancellation

I want to believe some people are here to make us cancel our booking so they can sell our appointment date. It is even possible the mail was cloned to mimic mail from the embassy. But God is on the throne, i am going with the first date of appointment

First one looks more authentic. Those who have received should know. I know. I am keeping the date to my self. I know there are enemies of progress here.
Make sure you go for the first one on the 12th. In the off chance they got it mixed up and bounce you, you can then return the next day.
Note, the second one said time between x and y. The authentic one has only one time.

i applied once precisely on the 28th May, I got first date of appointment on 31st to be 12/8/2019 with link to cancel then today again I got another appointment date to be 13/8/2019 without link to cancel , see screenshots below

. The student copy of your transcript should be OK, that is what I used to apply and I have gotten one AL. All you need is to get the photocopy certified at a notary public,embassy or court

My transcript is not signed by our Dean. They usually dont give transcripts to individuals, so i had to sort the official that typed it to release it to me so that i can photopy, just before signing.

Would this pose a problem when i send certified copies to Uni-assist?

. why not request for the student copy of your transcript, that should be enough. Take the copy to a notary public, embassy or high court to certify each page of it. That was what i did and was accepted by uniassist. i have gotten one admission waiting for 6 more. i hope it helps

My documents were delivered today(in the morning) and I also go the notification today(around 4pm). But it was stated somewhere in email that the transcript was submitted but not sufficiently certified. They just dey confuse my head.

. Don't worry. What they meant is that they have your soft copy but yet to get the certified hard-copy which usually takes 3-7 days for them to acknowledge that they hv received it from the Currier service. So they did the evaluation base on the soft copy of your document uploaded on their portal. I am very sure it took you time to send the hard-copy to them after you submitted your online application. Don't panic It happened to me, all you need to do now is write to them through their contact form and tell them that you have sent the certified hard copy stating the date, they will get back to you in few working days. All the best in your DE applications

Now, what's confusing me is that I did my document certification at the German embassy. Which certification would they accept again if not from the embassy? Pls I need an idea what to do to savage the situation

. No need to worry yourself, I am sure uniassist is yet to receive your hard-copy. Secondly When did you send the document and when did you receive the evaluation report from uniassist

i just got a date for Category A now, 12th August, enrollment deadline 30th sept 2019. hope i am safe, although i intend blocking my account before the interview

Please family is paper type of WAEC card acceptable at the embassy or the scratch type, a quick response will be appreciated

If the rate is low as stated here, there must be a way out. This is because form A is not only for fees. We will surely argue this out

Please let the findings keep coming in. If naa this we wan chop small of the national cake, no wahala cos what we will save is worth it

As you said, its am invisible payment and it doesn't include school fees alone. There are more to using Form A means, of subsistence, medical bills etc. One can use form A for means of subsitence while studying and thats where block account may come in. One of the main criteria is AM, the second is an Invoice showing the amount of money which the Student visa check list has and even some AM or Enrollment form have it stated. The next is the bank details of the recipeint and here your BA.

Form A actually a means of subsidising these payment for Nigerians. Its a CBN thing and not just banks. The bank use your money in your account and bid at CBN with the required documents. When successfull CBN exchange the cash at a given rate(official) and the bank can then makethe transfer and charge you

Form A gets slow during peak periods as in August, Sept when there is rush.

The issue was raised yesterday and i deemed it fit to also find out. Like i said everybody should try and find out themselves from different banks and not relying on what one person get.

I believe if its possible and ok it will be beneficially to us all

I did my verification today at zenith bank and Polaris Bank but they said it is not possible for personal student account except school account (tuition fee)

Except by some special waiver because the Bank Officer or Approving Officer know you personally or any other way, you won't be able to make BA transfer using Form A.

My account was already debited in GTB for the Naira equivalence of the Euro and I was happy that I get luck �. The following day, my Account Officer called me that she would have to reverse the transaction. CBN does not allow Form A processing to any individual account. I went the normal route:
- Open Dorm Euro Account
- Buy Euro from Aboki and pay into your dorm account.
- Bank will help you do the transfer from your account and charge your some transactional fee. Using GTB, all charges was around 16k.

I went to zenith bank and Polaris Bank to make inquiry about form A for block account , I was told is only possible for school fees and not direct to student account (block account),

Good morning to you all. Please concerning the use of Form A that was raised yesterday, I travelled to Bayelsa and made enquiries from Zenith bank and was told the CBN rate using form A is 342.3581 per Euro.

Please can someone also confirm from any zenith bank or other banks. The different will go along way to reduce cost(403 - 343) = 60*8,640 = NGN 518,400. i.e 1,286 Euros

I strongly belive we can fund our BA using Form A since its not peak period. All we need to do is find out the avereage processing time with CBN and check if ok with your TIME. Max of 2weeks should be enough to get this done(which is worth it)
