It was quite a night of impressive performance and amazing presentations at "Shakara And The Gang Comedy Show", hosted at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, with loud entertainments from prominent nigeria artists, like Harrysong, Mr2kay
Gandoki, Klint De Drunk, Osama, Ghana Must Go, Shortcut, MC Bob, Ucbebebe, Funny Bone, Acapella, MC Tagwaye, Chuks De General, Ajebo, Josh2Funny, Ambassador Wahala, DJ Barbie and other celebrities.

The laughter and fun-filled comedy show recorded impressive turnouts of high profile personalities, showbiz experts, entertainers, Nollywood celebrities, Abuja residents and other prominent personalities across Nigeria.

It also witnessed other side attractions like the resounding display by Nigeria toprated premium Disco Jockey, DJ Barbie, who exposed her magic fingers on the wheels of spin to an impressive presentation that thrilled the crowd.

The Grass to Grace Edition of "Shakara And The Gang Comedy Show", was indeed a success and many guests have commended the outcome of the show, describing it as humourous, blissful, warm and relaxing. Being the first time of hosting the regular lagos show in Abuja, the organisers of "Shakara And The Gang Comedy Show" may have amazed at the outcome and impressive attendance by Abuja residents.

Nigeria premium brewery brand, Golden Guinea Breweries, former pride of Eastern Nigeria has been joined by Heritage bank and other governments to host the biggest New Yam Festival in Mbaise, Imo state. The celebration was guested by the executive governors of Abia, Enugu and Sokoto state, as well as other high profile personalities in the country.

As required by the tradition, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo state, HE Emeka Ihedioha, declared the festival open in the cutting of the new yam, stressing that is was an age long traditional that marks the commencement and eating of the new yam in every conmunity in Mbaise and the state.

Governor Emeka Ihedioha further applauded Golden Guinea Breweries and heritage bank for sponsoring this year's edition which shows their exceptional social responsibility capacity and interest in the affairs of the state, and hosted the sponsor organizations at his home in Mbaise after the ceremony.

The New Yam Festival celebration in Mbaise, was powered by Golden Guinea Breweries PLC, a brand which years ago was amongst the notable brewery brand in Nigeria and about the best in the South-Eastern region. According to the Chairman of Golden Guinea Breweries, Chief Okey Ezenwa, he noted that the brand may have folded up in the past, but it is back in the market, with a refined taste, an affordable price and most importantly in a form that suits your drinking zeal, especially when shared with friends.

The event was mastered by Nigeria female Disco Jockey, DJ Barbie, who is quite a close relative to the Executive Governor of the state, as she engaged guests in her usual display of vibrant warmth and an enlivened ambience of music, merriment and jubilation. During the ceremony, a significant thing was noticed as a particular yam had 5 sections like a human toe which signifies the existence of 5 communities of Mbaise.

Still reacting on the new capacity and rejuvenated image of Golden Guinea Breweries, the Chairman stressed that the new image and refined content of the beer, would be officially launched in November to set a new bencmark in the industry. "With its unique taste, you cant but help asking for more", he concluded.

Heritage Bank Regional Head in Abuja, Mr Daniel Oniko has also commended the efforts made by Golden Guinea Breweries in returning back to business after some few years as they the bank is part of the history to revitalize the beer brand. He chronicled his experience with brand before it folded up and expressed his willingness to finance the brand.

However some persons at the New Yam Festival in the southeast region amongst which is Engr Emeka Anyanwu Otokoro from Ahiazu Mbaise congratulated the Governor and the Mbaise communities for the success of this year new yam festival, he further described Golden Guinea Beer brand with a premium taste, a relaxing feeling and a satisfying fill. The annual southeast celebration was really fun and a figuratively lively, with several side attractions and displays.

The 14th Edition Queen of Aso Nigeria beauty Pageant 2019 set to hold in Abuja on Friday 23rd August 2019 at NAF Conference Centre Abuja .The Prestigious annual pageant will be trilling the audience to yet another time of promoting the cultural heritage of Nigeria .

The Queen of Aso beauty pageant which started since 2005, is designed to promote the cultural heritage and tourism value of Nigeria. Aso means victory in Gbagyi dialect.

The winner of the pageant will be representing Nigeria in Miss Cosmo World Beauty Pageant in Malaysia later in the year while the Runner up will go to Miss Journalism World pageant in Tanzania.

BREAKING NEWS!! Lagos DJ Barbie and other passengers escaped been burnt following a Fire outbreak few minutes ago at Sam Mbakwe Airport. The fire started from a central Air conditioner where the DJ Barbie was sitting to board enroute Abuja after mega performance at Imo state New yam festival Graced by 4 Governors - Imo, Enugu, Abia & Sokoto states

The electric fault which ignited a massive fire affected bookings and other flight procedures as the systems went down with electricity going off.

Alot of people almost got choked at the airport as airport fire attendant rushed to put it off. As at press time there was total darkness and flames of smoke all over the airport.
