A non governemntal organization, focused on peace campaigns and the recognition of persons who have made significant impacts at improving peace across Nigeria have decorated the Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service, Dr. Babatunde Fowler, with the prestigious National Peace Awards, as "The Most Organised MDA in Nigeria.

Speaking with the President of the Messengers of Peace and Convener of the National Peace Awards, Dr. Suleiman Adejoh congratulated the "revenue revolutionist" and commended his efforts in the FIRS, stating that the award and recognition was in view of his intellectual impact and capacity at ensuring a sound a smooth improvement of the revenue and tax sector.

He also stressed that the Federal Inland Revenue Service under Dr. Babatunde Fowler has been a channel through which infant agencies, resourceful programs and empowerment projects across Nigeria are promoted and supported, throigh the CSR mandate of the institution.

Unlike other MDAs, the FIRS, under Babatunde Fowler has been quite innovative, creative and are working tirelessly to sustain efforts of the agency towards realising its revenue generation target via taxes, as well as through the new initiative in the digitalisation of tax operations in Nigeria.

Since assumption of office, the FIRS Boss has been made commendable successes in the revenue sector, which includes his record breaking success in 2018 with the highest revenue collection in the history of Nigeria of N5.3 trillion. More than half revenue came from the non-oil sector, which was quite impressive.

The National Peace Awards, which was held in Abuja and organised by the Messengers of Peace will also be unveiling a new symbol of recognition, strictly for those who have played pragmatic roles in the sustainability of peace across all sectors. The new "Peace Messenger" plate number will be unveiled soon, as the agency has concluded it endorsements and acceptance by relevant national organisations in Nigeria.

A thousand laughter cannot be compared to the engagements of entertainment and fun experienced on the 8th of September 2019, during the Drip City 1 year Anniversary event at the prestigious Sandralia Hotel in Abuja.

The Versatile entrepreneur Amen Rochas and most beautiful DJ Barbie were in attendance. Their attendance were well recognised as they partied with their friends and other guests.

There were a host of other Djs in attendance such as DJ Consequence, DJ whales, DJ crown, DJ prince, hype men and others as well as star art Patoranking. The event was supported by Pepsi, Fayrouz, Travelbeta, Trace 963 among others. The highlight of the event was the surprise fireworks that drove the crowd ballistic and in awe of excitement. There was so much to drink, good music, good laughter, networking and lots of of pretty ladies in bikini.

A thousand laughter cannot be compared all we experienced at the Drip City 1 year Anniversary event.

Okorocha, Uti Nwachukwu, CeeC Join Juremi Foundation J-Aid Walk To Celebrate The Physically Challenged With Donations, Scholarship


The Juremi Ability In Disability Walk- J-AID WALK 2019, organisied by Juremi Foundation, has held its 2019 Annual walk to celebrate and appreciate the less priviledge and physically challenged persons, as well as the Heroes of our time. The Walk was held in Abuja on the 31st of August, but commenced at Eagles Square, CBD, FCT.

The JAID Walk exercise witnessed tremendous participation by Former Senator Rochas Okorocha, Imo State Former First Lady Mrs Okorocha, Big Brother stars Uti Nwachukwu, Cynthia Nwadiora CeeC, Yankee, Abuja residents and other social groups in the country, including several institutions, academies and agencies that support the campaign of reintegration for People Living With Disabilities-PLWDs.

The humanitarian exercise also witnessed Award presentations, donations, scholarship programs, give-aways and skill acquisition/empowerment opportunities to some persons living with disabilities. Other recorded impact activities of Juremi Foundation during the 2019 J-AID Walk includes gifting of wheelchairs, crutches, relief materials and other support items for less privileged persons.

The foundation has maintained a constant pace in its intervention campaign and development programs to aid and improve humanity across Nigeria. The JAID Program is an initiative through which Juremi Foundarion has changed lives, for sustainble development and self enhancement.

According to participants and beneficiaries of the Walk, they all thanked and appreciated the organisers, stressing that their commitments and dedication through charity for humanity is quite impressive and impactful. On the other hand, the foundation, through its Chairman, Amen Rochas thanked everyone for participating and he also thanked his parents Senator and Mrs Rochas Okorocha for making the 2019 exercise a huge success.

The 3days Screening Exercise of 60Goals Soccer Star Project has commenced in Delta state at Township Stadium, Asaba. It kickedoff on an impressive note, with massive turnouts of young, skillful and vibrant soccer talents, well represented in their different football teams/Academy to be screened by Foreign Coaches and soccer analyst.

The Delta State Screening Exercise was declared open with an official kick-ball by Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, joined by Nigeria-International, lengendary footballer, Amb. John Fashanu and other Team Members of the Project. As reported by our correspondent, over 158players participated in the Day1 Screening Exercise, and 31Players were selected for endorsements, while on Day2, 378Participating Players were screened, with more 29Players shortlisted. The Exercise ended on the Day3, with the confirmation of 25 selected Players.

However, about 536 Players Participated in the 60Goals Soccer Star Project, at Asaba, Delta State. According to some of the participating players, they told our correspondent that the scouting exercise was significantly amazing, giving young talents the opportunity to become world class football stars.

The Delta state exercise of 60Goals Soccer Stars Project is packaged and powered by Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation. Last week over 350 players participated in the lagos exercise with impressive impact activities and international endorsement deals.

Ms. Jane Ndubuisi, Francis Ikechukwu, former national under 23 player ended the efforts of the grand patron, foreign coaches, members of 60Goals Soccer Stars Project and participating soccer talents. The exercise will also take place in over 12states.
