One Percent Int'l Unveils Real Warri Pikin As New Artiste With N30m, SUV

One Percent International Management, a platform that discovers, develops and promote the latent talent in Nigeria has signed a popular comedienne, Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin as its latest artiste with the sum of N30m and a brand new sport utility vehicle.

At a colourful ceremony in Abuja on Thursday, the organisation which also prides itself as a big investor in artistes recruitment and development, expressed gratitude for having an influential entertainer like Real Warri Pikin in its sign-in.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of One Percent International Management, Stephenie Nnadi said the organisation is committed to providing exposure on a vast international scale as well as opening avenues for collaborations.

While congratulating Real Warri Pikin as the latest member of One Percent International Management expressed the willingness of the organisation to ensure a harmonious working relationship with her.

In her comment, Real Warri Pikin who was in the company of her husband, Mr. Ikechukwu expressed joy working with the organisation, promising that she will deploy her expertise in promoting the brand.

Amb. Ken Ajieh popularly known as 'Too Much Money' made the official presentation of the car key to Real Warri Pikin on behalf of the management of One Percent International.

The Executive Director Operations of One Percent International Management, Chief Sir Mike Obienyi in his vote of thanks expressed optimism that there will be a smooth working relationship between the organisation and its artistes.

The company had in the past signed notable artistes to its fold, including an African International Afropop singer, song writer and a great stage performer, Platini P as well as an award winning actress, Isimbi Alliance popularly known as ALLIAH.

No fewer than 500 up and coming entertainers from the fields of acting, singing, dancing and more have participated in the Big Break Moment Africa talent hunt reality tv show worth N30m star prize.

The talent show Audition which kick started at the Abuja centre, Silverbird Cinema saw every young person who came out auditioned.

The super talented TV host, Denrele and Blessing CEO who were the hosts and judges expressed satisfaction with the number of talents discovered at the end of the exercise.

It had in attendance largely members of the students community who at the moment have been held down at home following the prolonged strike by the umbrella body of university teachers in the country, Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Winner will smile home with a whopping N30m worth of prizes including a brand new car.

This is seen as an opportunity to hone their talent and have a direction in life, which will prepare them to face the society upon graduation from school.

The Big Break Moment Africa reality tv show will also storm Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Enugu in coming days.

Money Rains As Chief Operating Officer of Grand Cubana hotel Efe Ejere Holds Birthday Dinner

It was a sight of glamour and fanfare as the Chief Operating Officer of Grand Cubana Hotels Ltd, Sir Efe Ejere hosted friends as associates to a dinner to mark his birthday.

Earlier, the celebrity hospitality expert, an associate of socialite, Obi Cubana had taken to the social media to celebrate his birthday praying for God's abiding presence upon his life.

Friends and associates had converged at the prestigious Grand Cubana Hotel located at the Jabi area of Abuja to celebrate Efe.

One after the other, they eulogised the celebrant for his numerous contributions in raising the bar of tourism in Nigeria as well as his efforts in building the entertainment industry and his philanthropic outreaches.

They prayed for God's endless love upon him and his family.

There was a lot to eat and drink at the topnotch birthday dinner which attracted several players in the entertainment industry, tourism and business tycoons.

The award winning hospitality administrator and his beautiful wife, Aniekeme Omoaefe had earlier in the year dedicated their second daughter, Oghenekome O. Ejere Mildred amidst cheers in a well attended ceremony.

Keeping to his words to restore Onitsha to its former glory, governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has started massive demolition of illegal structures in Onitsha with the demolition of Odumeje’s Church this morning.

Recall ANAMBRA PEOPLE had on the 15th of March, 2022 reported that the then governor-elect planned to remove all illegal structures and demolish buildings on flood channels in the state.

Other churches, industries, residential buildings, etc. built along flood channels like Sakamori, Nwangene stream, Otumoye and other areas would be pulled down soon. Some of the structures at Zik’s avenue, fegge , Ochanja market, Biafran market and Main market Onitsha have been penciled for demolition.

Group Holds Novelty Football Match To Bring Youths Together For Peaceful Election

A peace-centered and good governance non governmental organization, Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide in Partnership With Amb Kingsley Amafibe Peace Foundation has organized of peace novelty football match aimed at drawing the support of young people in the need for peaceful election in Nigeria in 2023.

The organisers say it seeks to bring together business executives, religious and youth leaders, entertainers and people from various fields of human endeavour for a joint effort for societal change.

Speaking shortly after the match which took place at the weekend at Soho 24 Sports Center Kado Abuja, the founder Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said there is need for synergy as professionals to put hands together to vote for a leader who has same vision with a vast majority of citizens.

"Everyone is agitating for a better Nigeria, we felt as an organisation that promotes peace, this is time to create awareness for peaceful election.

"Everyone gathered here today are industry players in their various fields, we have different organisations so we believe we can set up an effort that will change this nation.

"If we believe, we can do it, we need Leaders that will lead us to the right destination. The essence of what we are doing here is to think together and change the narratives."

They insist that free and fair process is a sure way for a peaceful election.

Four teams include, Peace Ambassador Agency, Seman Global Project, Prof Christopher Imumolen and Christ Mercy Showers Foundation slugged it out at the football competition.

The lead organizer, Amb. Amafibe also expressed appreciation to partners and sponsors for their participation.

Chuks D'General Causes Stare, Walks Out Of Event Venue After Organizers Invited Lagos Artiste, Josh2Funny Before Him


A popular showbiz entrepreneur and entertainer, Chuks D'General has caused tongues wagging with his recent attitude which some persons believe smacks of pride.

The latest is his decision to walk out on fans and guests at the recently concluded "Depression Pills" event at Sheraton Hotels Abuja where he was billed to perform.

Fans say they felt disappointed with Chuks D'General whom they believe should put up more mature attitude.

Drama started when he walked into the comedy show organised by Class Kaptain Entertainment which had Steve Headmaxter as the chief host about three hours after it commenced.

While he settled down, he had however expected to be invited on stage to perform while others were patiently seated before his arrival.

The host instead invited the talented Lagos based artiste, Josh2Funny who was there from the beginning of the show to perform.

This was said to have infuriated Chuks D'General who immediately stood up and left the show, to the amazement of guests.

It is however not clear what led to his action but it may not be unconnected with the fact that he had assumed that he would mount the stage before a Lagos based artiste as had been the custom in Abuja entertainment events.

His abrupt disappearance however did not have an iota of impact on the show as other artistes cracked the ribs of the guests.

There are feelers in the entertainment circle that Chuks D'General may have grown unexplained sense of ego among his colleagues, which manifested even in the way he walked out on guests whom he relies on also for the success of his own shows, including his Generally Speaking.

Steve Headmaxter was also said to have expressed displeasure over the incident but appreciated Chuks D'General's presence all the same.

While on stage, he thanked Skyplus for giving him a lead into the industry and also his elder brother for giving him shelter when he first arrived Abuja, though sarcastically.

Efforts to get reaction from Chuks D'General proved abortive as at the moment of this report.
