HIV, like most infectious diseases will not go away simply because there is a cure.

Were that the case, malaria, typhoid, etc, would have all disappeared - yes, they have cures.

A cure for HIV will be the biggest kill for any pharma company. It makes absolutely no sense they would be 'hiding' it.

Lastly, think about it: if they really want to cash out from the disease, would they spend billions researching a drug that prevents HIV?? THINK!! 🙄

Yes they may be bigger overall, but those citizens in Europe are actually doing better. Like I said in previous post, it's not just the overall figure but must be compared with it's population.

GDP is good, but on its own may not paint a realistic picture. Naturally the bigger countries will have overall bigger GDP.

A more useful picture is to compare with it's population which gives a better insight on the actual wealth of its citizens.

US, for instance, though number one here, slides down to number 8 on a GDP/capita basis. In that sense, Luxembourg is actually the richest country.

@bolded, no I have always collected my internet upfront. Usually they will debit the amount and processing fees, and leave the interest. Then at at maturity, the principal is paid.
