The traffic is caused to a large extent by Tinubu's vacation. I spent 8 hours in traffic yesterday because of that traffic bottleneck. Up till now, I was told by Okada boys that the traffic is still there.

Seunmsg, you can see what Tinubu's vacation is causing. What I witnessed yesterday is purely absence of governance. That is Government on vacation. Firstly, Nigerians are not law abiding. Initially, early in the morning around 6.30a.m there was a trailer's accident and few metres there was another accident on the same Kara Bridge. These accidents have nothing to do with repairs job going on at the bridge intersection but carelessness on the part of the drivers.

The most painful aspect was that as early as 6.30a.m , commercial buses have started take ONE WAY ILLEGALLY. By noon, towards evening ONE WAY DRIVERS have taken over the inbound Lagos Route. This is where TINUBU VACATION became so pronounced. UMAHI doesn't have anything to do here. The blame is purely that of Ogun State Governor, The Nigeria Police, Federal Road Safety and Lagos State Governor. At Ogudu, Secretariat and Berger, everybody was blaming the construction going on at Kara Bridge. We got to the construction point on the Kara Bridge before we saw that the traffic was actually caused by Traffic Bottleneck Congestion at the U - Turn junction at Fatgbem Bus stop just before entering the Long Bridge. ILLEGAL ONE WAY DRIVERS from Lagos using the Inbound Lagos Route have blocked Motorists coming into Lagos. They were forcing their way into the Outbound Lagos Route by force thereby obstructing vehicles coming from Lagos and those vehicles making U - Turn. You now have four different types of vehicles with different missions at the same point. That created confusion and chaos and crisis.

Where are Government agencies? Where are Government institutions? I don't want to continue.

So the traffic is still there as of today?

Abeg guys what's the current situation now? Supposed to travel to Ibadan tomorrow but not in any mood to spend hours on traffic.

Firstly, was this flight diverted? To the best of my knowledge Enugu air doesn't operate flights into Benin Airport.

The Benin Airport runway is known to be rather short. I am surprised there aren't more 'go arounds' there.

This looks like a case of a diverted flight to Benin which the pilots were not prepared for.

They do. I think they just recently started though. Benin to and from Lagos and Abuja.
