FreeStuffsNG:
The fee has been reduced very very significantly from 0.5% to 0.005% (almost zero percent!) in order not to throw away the baby with the bath water and help FG deliver on the purpose meant for the fund.

0.005% on N100k (one hundred thousand naira) for example is a paltry N5 (five naira) and N50 charge on N1 million naira so it makes absolute sense, low and fair enough in my opinion. Most transactions of the poor range between N1k and N100k so the highest a poor person will pay as cybercrime fee is N5 and lowest is 5 kobo!

There's so much at risk so there must be deliberate effort to sustain the security architecture around this crime.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

One of the few times I agree with you on this forum. 0.0005% is actually quite negligible if it will guarantee security of all online transactions.

Suicide is one of the strongest, bravest and Hardest decision anyone could make. Sometimes I dont have to save the victims of suicide. You just allow it end it afterall we are all going to end one day so what's the diff?

If u are to save one from committing suicide, make sure u can solve the root of the problem that made he or she chose the suicide route if not then there is no reason to stop them.

Totally false. Stop glamorizing it. Theres nothing brave about suicide. It's basically a less fanciful way of running away from ones challenges.

Naah. Will take this with a pinch of sugar.

FIJ has done some great reporting in past, but methinks so-called sources were providing no more than parlour gossips.

No doubt, there were clear tensions between Ngalale and Onanuga, however the claim that the latter was the more conciliatory seems odd. If anything, Bayo was always the more combative one. ..

And so on. . .

Politics / Re: How Turji’s Gang Accessed Military Vehicle In Zamfara Forest by alezzy13: 6:22pm On Sep 02
The Nigerian military was alerted by a distress call about a reconciliatory meeting between the Baleri banditry gang and some Zamfara locals in the Zurmi axis.

“The meeting was to resolve the differences between the locals and the bandits, similar to the same truce working in the Shinkafi area where there is relative peaceful coexistence

Na wa o. Am I the only one who saw this? Which supports the claim that these guys are not hidden but are well known. Why the security agencies have been unable to flush out remains a mystery

If you read their opinions about population growth and childbirth eh, you go fear. I am amused that they think by letting go of childbearing, others will and/or are doing the same. Although. fertility rates are dwindling globally, most parts of Africa, South Asia and the Middle East still have positive views on having children.

The West is just so anti-children. I want to see how the pension system will survive amidst the high rate of life expectancy.

Lol. With all our plenty population in Africa where has it led us? 🙄

Lol. Absolute trash.

Again just to be clear, those who want are strongly encouraged to have children - AND CARE FOR THEM.

Those who don't want have made choice which should be respected l.

His decision, his choice and I see absolutely nothing with it, not that it would matter anyway.

BtW I have nothing against whom I believe are precious gifts from God.

However I believe our obsession with families and all in this part of the world needs to change.

Amosun was a bad governor. Many in Ogun State are claiming that Amosun ran a vindictive administration against his predecessor governor Gbenga Daniels. He was cancelling contracts entered by GD anyhow. He should take responsibility for the problem he put Ogun State. Everything should not be about self interest.

Hmm.

Wasn't Ogun State Dangote's preferred site for his refinery but the government of the day muddled up the proposed plan.

To be fair to the Gov, he need not be versed in these things but what kind of commissioners and special advisers did he surround himself with. Too bad

Exactly. I'm sure he had special advisors versed in such issues, not to mention his attorney general.

But all the same the buck stops at his table and must take full responsibility.
