It's possible Gombe was induced by hawks within the government, but ADC created the atmosphere for it.

Like I said in the previous thread, the biggest blame goes to the David Mark led team who handled this very poorly.

Guy leave matter. Am not holding brief for Tinubu, but let's let leave emotions and look at it critically:

Was it Tinubu that told the Lawal to ambush the party and shove aside an agreement earlier reached with Gombe?
Was it Tinubu that told Mark, given his experience in politics, not to quickly calm nerves and handle to situation?

There was an obvious loophole which APC exploited.

If course it is largely self inflicted, and I would lay it mainly at the doorway at Babachir Lawal. It was his ego-driven shoving aside the "small boy" Gombe that caused this whole issue. Then of course David Mark did not handle the issue well.

However it must be said, the sped with which Gombe was able to get the injunction and INEC derecognition does raise eyebrows and suggests external (read: APC-led) influence. Already allegations of a "powerful minister" from SS as being among the masterminds.

But yes, I agree the buck ends with ADC. They need to get their shyte together.
