When someone wakes, it is that person's morning. There is still money to be made from Presco. That newbie should not be discouraged about quantity. A good stock remains a good stock. This was how I penciled down Airtel, Seplat, Dangote Cement, Bua food for a long time without buying a unit and over time their prices double, some trebled because I was worrying about how many units I will be able to buy.

Lesson learnt: Buy fundamentally sound stocks irrespective of their price. It is by far better than buying in great quantity of junk stocks

It is an expensive business to enter And also the market size is small.

There aren't much travellers from Nigeria, you can actually check the daily traffic online and compare with some countries with almost similar population size like ours.

Go to any major airport in Nigeria and you won't see much people in the hall. I have been to airport in Nigeria where only 100 people were in the waiting hall.

Another stuff is that if 5 airlines control 75 percent of traffic that means jobs in that industry will be very competitive and it means, it is near impossible to progress in your career

Imagine having to pay over N100k for a one way ticket. And that's for AbJ-Los route which from my observation is usually the cheapest. Other routes are more expensive - some almost 200k (economy class oo!) 😮

Is it not the Wema virtual account? Normally your wallet should be credited within few hours, if it's during working days.

I know previously one could pay into a dedicated account, but it appears that option has been removed with this latest update on their app.

I have been investing in the equity and balances funds with stanbic for 5 years now and the return exceeds mmf. Average of 40-60 % pa.

I have both Stanbic and United capital equity funds and really like others noted, it's not for the faint hearted.

I opened them about two years ago following the surge in stocks at that time. To my shock however, they both dropped sharply by almost 30% early 2024. Thankfully though my Stanbic funds has currently almost doubled while UCAP is about 50% higher.

Just to emphasize again that it is extremely volatile so potential investors should be very cautious.

Pls for those investing T/bills via Blunest, how has the experience been? For me it hasn't been encouraging.

The first one I did failed, and the second attempt has been pending for over a week, though I guess the platform downtime might have contributed. Anyway I have complained to them and expecting their feedback.
