You believe the account of the disciples bout hearing him curse the fig tree, yet you obviously don't believe the account of him being the messiah and his great works, you even hav the audacity to call his father useless.... You believe that he is powerful enough to curse the fig tree and for that curse to follow the fig tree to dis present time bt you don't believe he can move mountains into seas... And you tink you have good brain....lmao
The question is not what I believe but what you believe.

You believe everything that is written in the bible about him. I base my criticisms on those things. I don't add nor deduct. I analyse. I think that if what was written about him were true, then something must be wrong in his head.

obadiah777: HOPE FOR YOU ? NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE HOW ABOUT YOU POST WHAT IT SAYS HERE. I ALWAYS DO THE FAVOR OF POSTING ALL MY VERSES SO PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE TO GO LOOK FOR A BIBLE.
It is good for others to read the bible themselves and not rely on your falsehood interpretations. I just nudge them in the right direction.

Colossians 2:8

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, ...

They are also instructed to use their minds to discern what they are told.

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of the Lord, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
So this is all your shallow mind can make out of the curse on the fig tree... May you not perish cos of lack of knowledge.
And your deep mind? What does it make of it? Does it tell you to follow blindly?

Ojisik: u demented fool....u just read d story halfway,he cursed d tree because it wasn't bearin fruit at s time it was meant to,dat means it was already useless to itself, animals and all humans around it: just like you
Mark 11:12-14

12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

Read it again bro.

obadiah777: SYMBOLIC OF ISRAEL. THEY ARE TELLING YOU THAT ISRAEL IS BLACK. SYMBOLISM DOES NOT DENOTE UNREALITY. SYMBOLISM IS A WAY OF REPRESENTING A STORY AS SOMETHING ELSE. BUT IT IS A REAL STORY. ITS A STORY OF ISRAEL IN THE LIONS DEN REPRESENTED AS A STORY OF SOLOMON BEING OPPRESSED BY HIS BROTHERS
Now you are blabbing and making no sense.
Fact: jews are racists.
Christianity Etc › What Is Wrong With Jesus? by alfaman2(op): 1:52pm On Apr 30, 2013
This man after wandering about in the desert with the few men he managed to deceive, became very hungry and came upon a fig tree. As it was not fig season, there was no fruit on the tree. This jew that called himself your god became angry that things are working the way his useless father wanted. He cursed and killed the fig tree! What?! What is wrong with him? He even later boasted that he could throw mountains into seas. Why didn't he instead command the fig tree to immediately bear fruits? He killed it thus depriving others of the future fruits that tree would bear. By killing it, he also killed all the animals who depended on that tree for shelter and sustenance.

obadiah777: SEE THIS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A REPROBATE CRETIN TRIES TO UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURES.
ooman was right. it was his beloved talking.
But even if it was he himself talking, it still doesn't invalidate the point I made. He would be likening turning black in the vineyards to something which would be looked down upon and be shunned by a lover.
So there you go.

obadiah777: GEEZ I GUESS COMMON SENSE IS NOT SO COMMON THESE DAYS. NOW I AM A WELL RESEARCHED GUY AND I HAVE LIVED AMONGST LOTS OF WHITE PEOPLE AND I CAN TELL YOU THAT NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF ARABS OR CAUCASIANS HAS A POPULATION OF CAUCASIANS OR ARABS TURNED BLACK CHARCOAL COLOR BECAUSE OF HARDSHIP AND FAMINE. THESE PEOPLE GET MORE PALE DURING FAMINE AND HARDSHIP. THEY DONT TURN BLACK. NOW NEGROS ON THE OTHER HAND TURN FROM BROWN TO BLACK IN EXTREME HARDSHIP AND POVERTY AND BEING UNDER THE SUN IN HOMELESSNESS. GO TO NORTHERN NIGERIA, ALL THE HOMELESS PEOPLE WHO LIVE UNDER THE HEAT HAVE TURNED BLACK. THIS WAS THE SAME TEMPERATURE IN THE NORTH-EAST AFRICAN REGION WHERE ANCIENT ISRAEL LIVED. I SUGGEST SOME OF YOU GO COLLECT YOUR SCHOOL FEES BACK BECAUSE IT HAS NOT HELPED YOUR THINKING
Nobody said they turn black. It is just a figure of their expression. They liken their great misery to turning black because the worse that could happen to a caucasian is to wake up one morning with a black skin. It is like when calamity befall us and we say things like "the sky has fallen on my head" or "or my day has turned to night" or such similar expressions. They don't literally happen but gives you the idea of how bad the situation is.

ooman: See, if they were blacks, they wont complain of having a black skin!

capisce?? cheesy
hmmm.
Thanks ooman. I used to think Obadiah was right but this sentence here is the eye opener.

You are right. Why would people complain about their normal colour?
Yes. I now understand. These jews were very racist and associated black skin with misery and poverty and hardship. So instead os saying "misfortune has befallen me", they say "my skin has turned black".
Spits on the bible!

And black men worship one of them.

I challenge you to produce your god or forever shut up.

You have been praising him and calling on him to smite your enemies and all other nonsense you shout on sunday mornings, but I AM STILL HERE!

Where is he?
Where is the powerless one.
Let him show himself.
Let him manifest his power over me if he has any.

Where is this wrath of his that you all are afraid of?
Where is he?
Where?! Where!
WHERE!?!?!?!

jesus did not have african disciples so no olumidelegun amongst the saints.

who will you worship? the god of david or the god of olukoya?
the lion of the tribe of judah or the lion of the tribe of ofonnagbuo?
should you adore mary the mother of god or mgbekeolisa the mother of god?
should we bow down to the god of abraham, isaac and jacob or to the god of olatunji, chidimma and badamosi?

think well before you chose. slave.
Read the whole Bible? What does this has to do with my conversion to serve him? Don't you think it'll rather make me discover some things in it and hate Satan?
Yes. Read the book.
The first rule of serving our Master to understand the enemy. The book will open your eyes. You will understand what you are going through much better.
But you must read it with an open mind and avoid getting confused by others or distracted by baseless murmurings. That is why you must stop going to church and stop praying. If not you risk being in more harm than you are already in.

Stop praying.

Christianity Etc › Re: Terrified By Bats: Please Advice Me by alfaman2: 10:47am On Apr 28, 2013
Please do not kill those bats again.
Those are lovely creatures and messengers of my Master.
The more you kill them the more you bring Satanic curses upon your head.
Next time, you see them, ask them what the message is. Please speak in a loud voice and do not be afraid as they are meek animals and don't harm people.
Open the door or window and let them out. That's it.
They won't come back.
But if you keep killing them or don't let them deliver their message, they will keep coming back.

Christianity Etc › Re: Big-Bang Theory Doesn't Make Enough Sense by alfaman2(op): 9:50am On Apr 28, 2013
wiegraf: Che. See condescension. This is not rocket science brah, at least not the difficult bits.

Again, I'm no theorist in this field, so I don't know the details. From what I understand if matter is close enough to overcome the effects dm, then gravity takes precedence. Else it's dm. It's a balancing act of sorts, perhaps involving other factors. I'm not sure if all the stars in this galaxy are close enough to overcome dm, but if they are, then yes, I agree.
I wasn't condescending. I was appreciating the clarity of your explanation. I was sort of expecting a copy and paste answer as they are used to on this forum but your answer showed that you are made of different stuff. I can tell you that some of the so called experts in universities cannot give such a simple clear and precise answer and would rather start blabbing about hobble laws and planck measurements which, while making sense to them, actually puts people off physics.

Back to topic. You expertly avoided my question because you have guessed that it may be a trick question. Well, it is. I will get straight to it.
According to big bangers, space is expanding. (please note that I am not disputting this fact) However, observations have shown that galaxies collide. But if space between galaxies are expanding, how come they collide? You already started responding by saying that dm (i think you mean dark energy) takes precedence when matter are farther from each other. Can't you see the absurdity?
Once again, I am not proposing nor joining an alternative theory. All I am doing is pointing out the flaws in the mainstream theory

I will get to the planck probe later. Note just that Planck did not confirm BB. It only validated and put more precision on the data gathered by a previous probe called Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP).

What else it did was throw more spanners in the wheels of the big bangers because it showed that contrary to what the big bangers have been insisting for years, that the universe is neither uniform nor homogenous thus making a complete mockery of the inflation theory. They are still analysing the data and have now put the age of the universe to 13.8 billion years. SMH.
