BusinessRe: Principles That Made Dangote The Richest Black Man On Earth by Aliki(m): 6:09pm On Sep 03, 2013
1. Aliko Dangote is a Nigerian

2. Nigeria has the highest population in Africa.

3. Dangote is a manufacturer

4. Monopoly: A situation in which a single company or group(Dangote) owns all or nearly all of the market for a given type of product or service.

5. Nigerian government backed Dangote up with monopolies, making him a sole producer or distributor of certain goods.

6. Dangote is now the richest man in Africa!

6. 2+2=4!

CrimeRe: Corporal Kills ASP Over Girlfriend In Yobe. by Aliki(m): 9:01pm On Sep 02, 2013
You know how ladies behave, the guy was a senior officer and had a car, so she forgot all the good time Bitrus had with her for over eight years and started going out with Olosuji,

Oga ASP propabaly had a longer and a bigger d*ck, and can go on and one at full speed like a turbo charge V8 Range Rover sport, while lover boy Bitrus, like a KIA Picanto, can hardly go one kilometer withouth doing over heating or knocking out.(Just joking)

Anyhow, you don't date a lady for eight years in a hostle environment(police barracks) without having a plan for her, the lady might have started feeling unsure of Bitrus' plan for her after eight years and decided to try another more capable lover! Some people don't wake up not until they lose what they've got on a platter of gold(even though Oga ASP na agbaaya)

Lastly, a brother's life is not worth taking because of pu**y, as I even suspect that one smart "coded" nigger might even be in the background shinning the poor lady's congo while ASP and Corporal are on night duty!
PhonesRe: A Soldier Stole My Iphone 4s by Aliki(m):
Following a lone soldier around Lagos like a Zombie from Abule Egba (where there are no barracks) to wherever...and at the end sending you to go and buy credit and he zoomed off with your iphone 5 on a bike. You could have been easily used for rituals just because you're not smart, and not brave as well. You appear to me like a "mummy's boy" or "ajebutter" . The soldier is nothing but an experienced con artist, he saw somthing weak in you and that's it.

A naval office once shot an Okada man point blank here in Lagos, he was mobbed and beaten silly even with a loaded pistol in his hand...this is Lagos!

You beleievd that nobody would come to your resque, that's where you lost it... forget it..there are thousands of jobless Lagosians waiting to intervene, not to talk of OPC boys! So far you did not steal and no contraband(like weed) was found on you, always stand your ground, create a scene and let people gather around you(in Lagos, people will alway gather) they will intervene and sort it out for you.

This is a wake up call for you...take all the comments seriously!

Lastly, how old are you?

Car TalkRe: The Best Tyre For Nigerian Roads by Aliki(m): 10:55pm On Jul 30, 2013
I drive a Chevy spacebus, one humble vulcanizer recommended that I buy a "Vanco" brand, when I wanted to buy new set of tyres for the ride, he told me that there are two different types; the "regular" and the "commercial" ones used by danfo buses...he got me a grade A toks of the commercial type, it's two years now and they still look good and the pressure is always intact to my surprise. Sometimes ago I went to guage the tyres, the Vulcanizer specifically begged me to sell the tyres to him whenever I want to replace them, that those danfo guys are always looking for that particular brand. If you're lucky to find a sincere vulacanizer...they can tell you more about tyres.
AutosRe: Chevrolet Space Bus 96 Model Forsale by Aliki(m):
Adasco! This is a Chevy Venture is a nice ride in its class(spacebus), V6, very strong suspension, reliable and rugged to the core. For a Lagos buyer, parts available at Oju-Elegba not to mention Ladipo...I own one that's why I'm saying this on your behalf..you don't reallyknow how to "pep up" a car.

Don't know you, but wishing you a good sale!

dcal001: don't be myopic, the prosperity of Nigeria is ur prosperity
In Economics it's supposed to be so, but not always the case in African countries...especially in Nigeria. We've always been a prosperous country, but unfortunately we don't even know...the crude oil we sell and at the same time spill away daily, did we put it there? Price of kerosine has risen by 200% now a lot of folks who coulndt afford that would have to start using firewood...yet we flare gas away day and night. Nigeria has been selling crude oil for over 30 years now...what do we have to show for it? Same story naa ni..no electricity, no good roads, no security. Yet we think that one day we'll be prosperous and all we be well. White folks look at us and laugh, knowing that we don't really need those loans from China!
PoliticsRe: South-African Girls Arrested For Having Nigerian Friends by Aliki(m): 9:38am On Jun 28, 2013
zetdee: Gbawe gbawe gbawe.. you always raise this Lucky Dube story as prove of the unfair hatred of Nigerian in South Africa, the context of the quote has been explained to you before but you still insist, which i understand. The people who shot lucky Dube was a Mozambique and Zimbabwean national.

"Just to set the record straight on the
this quote that is quoted without
being used in its full context.
When one of the killer was asked in
court if he didn't know that he was
shooting at Lucky Dube,he said No he
thought he was a Nigerian
drugdealer.Rossentenville is
notoriuolsy known for high
population of Nigerians who deals in
drugs.So the killers thought they
where robbing a drug dealer and
thought they will get lot of money
from him since they know that drug
dealers carries a lot of money on
them.
I don't think it was based on pure
hatred for Nigerians, they saw a flashy
car in the place that is notoriously
known for high drug trafficing mostly
run by Nigerians, they decided to rob
it thinking that the owner who is a
'drugdealer' will be carrying lot of
drugs cash on him,they demanded
money and he said he didn't have
and they started shooting at him."
Let's get this straight..."They thought he was a Nigerian drug dealer" so they shot at him, if he was a South African drug dealer, probably they wouldn't shoot at him. Most South Africans are violent animals, illiterates, and their women vey loose...due to several years of toture they experienced under their white folks on their own soil. They thought he was a Nigerian but ended up killing poor Lucky Dubby, their number one reggae star...FOOLS. LOL!

Gamji007: Tofa is entitled to his own opinion. His statement isn't justifying the annulment of the election, but only telling us that dwelling on the past will do us no good, we should instead face the present challenges and make the future better.
But Tofa is a fool sha!...for bringing up the issue.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Bow-Greeting Buhari (Picture): Slavery Or Respect? by Aliki(m):
Well...Buhari is a 6 feet plus tall man, so if both men bow to each other at the same agnle, Tinubu's head will still appear lower! Also, remember that when you're in front of a former president of your country it isn't too much to bow to him...where was Tinubu in 1983...being a military president is not a joke friends! Obasanjo wouldn't do that of course...you guys should remember also that Tinubu is an experienced politician, bowing down, kneeling down, hugging or whater does not count so much in the game of politics...it's all politics...it's all a game! Let's leave them to their thing! Or what do you guys think please?

Hello, I just feel that I should let you know that the price on your car is too much, people on Nairaland are actually shopping for something affordable...even cheap...to be frank! I feel you should find out how much a Ford Focus sells for on the streets in Lagos(unfortunately most Nairalanders are based in Lagos. And they are well informed) you may find it quite difficult to sell the ride...I don't want to say too much...cheers!

CultureRe: Investing In The Nigerian Art Market: A Smart Move? by Aliki(op): 2:50pm On Aug 02, 2010
Yes, right now only a fraction are investing in art, most are in it just to decorate.
I read about the show:the Fouth Splinth, Nelson's Ship in a Bottle, by Yinka Shonibare. I'm proud of him.
CultureInvesting In The Nigerian Art Market: A Smart Move? by Aliki(op): 11:17am On Aug 01, 2010
In my opinion, I believe that the Nigerians should beging to invest in the Nigerian Local art market by collecting art. Presently, art ffrom Nigeria is attracting considerable attention from European, American and South African buyers, it is no doubt that Nigerian works are now attracting investors who want to invest thier money wisely, lnowing well that in future, the resale value will surely fetch unprecedented sum.
