Our Son Acted As A School Father For Sylvester, He Is Innocent — Late Buruji Kashamu’s Family Speaks

The family of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu says Michael Kashamu, one of five students of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos named to have allegedly attacked Sylvester Oromoni, is innocent, Igbere TV reports.

In a statement issued on the family’s behalf by Mutairu Kashamu, the family called for calm and supported the ongoing investigation into the matter.

In the statement, the late senator’s family explained that, “Our son, Michael Kashamu, had acted as a school father for the late Sylvester in his first session in the school.”

The family, however, clarified that Michael had ceased to be the “school father” of the deceased when he was allegedly bullied.

Igbere TV reports that the family called for the alleged cyber bullying which it has been subjected to since the incident became public knowledge to stop.

A bemusing story shared by a social media user on twitter revealed how a married woman and a lady fought themselves over a teenage Yahoo boy.

According to the twitter user, a 19-year-old Yahoo boy was secretly having an affair with a 31-year-old housewife.

In addition, the teenager was also sleeping with a 28-year-old lady identified as Faith, who resides in his street.

Trouble started when the married woman came to see him unannounced and met the other lady in his house.

Before long, they started exchanging words and it was during the process of words exchange that they both revealed their respective ages.

As Faith called the housewife a ‘small girl’, who was not her mate, since she appeared older than her.

She told her she is a 28 years old lady, surprisingly the married woman revealed she is 31.

Things got out of hands to a point where they started exchanging blows before they were eventually separated by neighbours in the compound.

This whole thing is getting out of hand, we don't want a situation where producers of Sachet/pure water will start cutting corners so as to maximise profits and start producing unhygienic water thereby jeopardising public health and safety. 150 naira

The government must as a matter of urgency intervene.

There are communities in Delta and Bayelsa that have no alternative source of drinking water besides the Sachet Water, and such communities are of very poor people, small time Fishermen etc.
