my brother, i was glad dat i wasnt present when d tragedy happened. I alway passtru dat place to boundary 4times a day, i usually withdraw from d atm in front of the bank. In the evenings i go dia to buy engine oil, chicken etc. Can u believe i share a fence with a tanker pack, share a street with a thank farm? Infact ones life is in God's hands.

Well as most posters have pointed out, u need to watch out for student needs (oppurtunity) n exploit it. For me while in sch, i was into wide range of computer based services. Over time i had to change the nature of my service so as to remain afloat. Eg, i started with laptop n handset browsing configuration;
then to student course reg, filling of forms online, system maintainance for cafes n biz centres.;
finally, around my 3rd yr i noticed student r lazy when it comes to research n reading, so i ventured into prep of field trip report, term paper, research materials for PhD student, assignment n thesis for msc guyz, n project writing.
It requires alot of reading, sleepless 9t, interaction.
But it paid off cus i was living large, good flat, fully independent, savings, connection, babes n beer !!! (regreted).


But as a girl u can go into hair dressing saloon biz (seen ladies dat it worked 4)

marketing of womens' wear (u need to av swagg n b strict if not u go go villa)

prep of indomies, breakfast meal, soft drinks (ma ex- , the profit is crazy)

photocopying, in ur house n strickly on contract basis so as to give u reading time (prodn of handout for a class esp. Post grads students)

interior decorator for shws n event, but u need training , (dos girls r heartless, 30k for 2hrs work?)


ashawo if u too lazy for a lady n a love-vendor for a guy (mehn make sense if u sch near abj, i once made 15k for being a witness)

finally, u need to b forcused, discipline, an fia God.

Nice one OP, i av been working of this issue of connection for a very long time. When i was posted to lagos state (nysc febuary batch) i bearly know anybody aside family members but today, i can boast of substancial number of pple relevant in my field. I just pray it all works out for me in 2014. Amen

1. Home tutor (paid N1200 per hour), mehn i was earnin twice my alawi . I did it for 4month until my ican examz preparations came knockin.
2. Marketing job , was into selling of clothing materials, supply of gift items for wedding, etc.
3 computer maintaince for all the public schs @ ajeromi lga (my ppa).
And guess what am still serving, #team 13A batch

Op , nice write up. U really tried in outlinin the basic matters to watchout fot when buyin a labtop but u fail to advice use on the particular quality. For example u mentioned 2 typs of keyboard ,2 producers of processor, 2 types of GPU, but u failed to advice us on which is best!!!
