EVeryday for the thief, one day for the owner Wow, you're so 'wise'. Where in the report did you see northerners in Lagos as the affected people? But was it not here on NL that some easterners & south south indigenes were complaining of marginalization in PVC collection in Lagos? I guess Lagos is currently led by PDP right? |

Osode: I've added the Source.
its really shocking how careless and lackadaisical GEJ, and the average southerner is.
its now very ALARMINGLY clear that JEGA almost rigged A SITTING COMMANDER IN CHIEF OUT, without batting an eyelid
It leaves one with goose pimples.
You have to give it to the average northerner: they are more motivated they know exactly whats at stake
they are not easily divided (with Intellectual claptrap)
they Supremely Organized The 'average' northerner may not know much, but as far as their tribal interest is at stake, they're willing to do all it takes, even to death. But the southern man is independent, or likes to think of himself as such. And his disunity may be his greatest undoing as far as Nigerian politics is concerned. ... Not like we are one anyway. |

sincerenigerian: Buhari is coming to take the oil licenses away from everyone them. Let it be Southerner or Northerner, they won't be having any of their licenses renewed. The oil field belongs to every Nigerian. Pls tell this to Atiku and co. So I guess he will redistribute the licenses to 'average' Nigerians or exploit the oil by himself? What then happens to the investments of the current owners of these licenses? Will they give up their 'hard-earned' money without a fight? Ordinary PIB has not passed Senate reading for how long, but Buhari will revoke/take away licenses IF he gets into govt (like say na military regime we dey). Tell me another story. |

Code213: It is true that some vested interest in ACN wanted to play smart on Buhari in 2011, but GMB was too principled and upright for that, and that is why the CPC /ACN deal did not go through in 2011. Buhari stood by his VP (Bakare), and rejected the evil proposal. You all can remember Tinubu saying recently that he has sacrificed his own ambition for this new reality. Even in 2015, Tinubu nursed a VP ambition, but Buhari will have none of that!
God used Tinubu, as flawed as Tinubu may seem to be, to bring us a formidable alternative to PDP. Who else could have done it if not Tinubu?
God allowed us to be ruled, and be ridiculed by a man like Jonathan, to teach us a lesson, to show us the manner of people we should NEVER trust with our votes! Not all that come seeking votes in God's name, whipping sentiments and all that hogwash rubbish are actually Heaven-sent. God can use an Atheist to deliver a nation if he chooses to.
Now, the way has been paved for Buhari to come and show us what true Leadership should look like. He is here to put us right back on track. The religious people can call him God-sent! I see him as a man that has grown over the years, and is now more democratic than we give him credit for! He knows governance is serious business, and he is ready to work. I know he will be vindicated.
God Bless Nigeria

donphilopus: If you listen attentively to Buhari whenever he speaks, you would know he communicates in good English. Most of you shouting "Buhari is this", "Buhari is that", cannot even define 'illiteracy', yet you call him an illiterate. Can your parent stand him in a debate? (Sorry to say) My 'parent' cannot stand him in a debate because he would not show up on D-day. God knows I don't have to listen 'attentively' to anyone around me to hear what he/she is saying. But I guess Buhari's communication skills must be better than that of the English man. BTW, you can keep your apologies; no offense taken. I'm guessing you are paid per word you type in every post. Clueless chimp! You are right. The OP cannot stand Buhari in a debate because he (Buhari) will definitely not show up or chicken out at the last minute, even if he was the organizer. |

If they have been embezzling salaries, how come they pay scholarship money, to the tune of millions of naira, for over 25 students who secured their scholarship?

9jatriot: Broom is a symbol of cleaning.
If you do not clean your environment, it becomes dirty and you become prone to diseases, pest, rodents and seen to generally unclean. Don't forget the saying that cleanliness is nest to godliness.
Umbrella on the other hand is needed only when it rains, but if you have a car, you wont need it. I think I have gone through a whole year without using an umbrella, I can not say same for broom!!! Believe me when I say that I have not seen a broom since I relocated here, but people use umbrellas when it rains. |
