raymey2000: I and my twin brother applied for a tier 4 student visa UK in the UK embassy in Victoria island(teleperformance),church gate tower and since then,there has not been any response. we called the visa enquiry service yesterday and after tracking our application status,they sent us a mail saying our application has been processed but it might take sometime for our documents to go from the decision center to the application center.

I am scared of loosing the visa coz we paid a tuition deposit of £2990 pounds instead of the 3000 pounds requested by the school although we have the complete balance including our maintenance fees running in an appropriate account

Also because we are twins and identical,our agent mixed some information abt us. like some information about me are contained in his application form

Do u think these could cause the visa to be denied?

Is there anyone who applied and submitted his online application before the count of the 28days rule and dropped his documents on the day he chose his appointment that got his visa? I need to know cos as it stands,going by what I have been reading on this thread, TP is a no go area(soon to be tier 4 Lords),so I can chose VFS before they run out of appointment spaces.

I don't know about the 28-day rule but I just booked an appointment for Tier 4 student visa today. The closest interview date for VFS Ikeja is 24th September (soon to change).

Hence I suggest that whatever you need to do, do very quick as VFS Ikeja centre ends visa processing on 30th Sept while Teleperformance takes over.

DonOms: NO you cannot. Standard appointments do not require a Tier4 interview so you will waste your time and money if you book it. Always Book Tier4 Appointment!

Ok. I eventually booked for Tier 4 on 24th September.

But if my visa is ready on time, am I permitted to travel before my stated planned date of travel?

I tried booking an appointment for the interview at Ikeja, lagos and realized that the nearest available date for PBS Tier 4 Appointment is 24th September, while that for Standard appointment is tomorrow 16th September.

Is it possible to book for a standard appointment even though I'm applying for a Tier 4 visa?

Mystiq25: Dude P4 camera is very good, you can't find a better 5MP at this price range, in fact it's better than the 8mp of some Tecno phones.

Maybe some Tecno phones.. .
But I 've used Tecno M5 with 8MP camera & it's way lot better.
I guess I was over-expecting.

Kamaye: First of all P4's camera is not as bad as you suggested, I have read many reviews of this phone from Indian and local users, believe me it is the first time I read a complain about the camera. For the camera app, I recommend camera 360 ultimate or camera mx. Lastly the the 8mp you saw on my screen shot was from a Lenovo custom rom flashed on my P4.

My phone comes with a 5 MP camera but there's too much noise & blur when I take pictures, even in broad daylight.

Please can I get an app that improves picture quality while I'm taking the shots?
... Like sth that bypasses my default camera (settings).

One thing I don't like about the phone is the quality of pictures taken with the camera - too much noise & blur for a 5 MP camera phone.

Does anyone know of any android app that can enhance the quality of pictures as they are being taken?

Please, it is possible to change my visa interview appointment date on the eve of the appointment to a later date, and is there a penalty for doing that?

This is because I'm yet to receive my ATAS and I want to set a probable date for interview when it must have been ready.

Do I just storm the venue on that Monday (tomorrow) or will I have to wait for a confirmation/invite from them before going?

Please while applying for the visa (just opened my account), I saw Tier 4 (General), Tier 4 (Sponsored), Tier 4 (Scholarship), Tier 4 (Child).

I'm on a scholarship by a mutinational for tution, accomodation & upkeep.

Should I select Sponsored or Scholarship ?
