AdanneNwachukw: Hi, thanks a whole lot for your response. But it's so daunting that it takes five days from Abuja to Lagos. These people aren't being honest unless the documents are coming from the UK which it isn't. It's either they are piling and then sending the documents in bulk or they are using the post office, only reason it should take five days. Goodness! I sympathies with you tho, I know it's frustrating considering I'm in the same situation. May God help us, don't even know what to say. Wish the BHC in Abuja could just leave our documents with them then we come for pick up. Have you done anything about tracking your documents on teleperformance?

Just wondering how they can conveniently say it takes 5 working days making it seem like we are not serious for expecting it in two working days even though that's what our approval email clearly states.

No mind those TP people, their customer service is too poor.
If it was VFS, 2 days is 2 days.

About tracking on TP site, it just shows 'Created Account'.

Its so unfortunate that they've taken over UK visa processing in Nigeria leaving everyone with no other alternative or competition.

Please this question is directed to people who applied with VFS Ikeja and got approval mails stating they should track their documents through Teleperformance and have actually collected their documents. Firstly, please how many days after your approval mail did it take to get your documents? Please, did you collect your documents from Teleperformance or VFS in Ikeja? Also, did you receive an email from Teleperformance telling you your documents were ready for pickup? Fourthly, did you ever track the location of your documents on Teleperformance website?

I know this is a lot of questions but please help me out Really appreciate it, thanks!

I'm in a similar situation - yet to collect my visa.

When I went to Etiebets Place (TP) yesterday & today, I was told it takes exactly 5 working days from approval mail to collection.

I also checked VFS Ikeja but was directed to Etiebets for anything UK visa (its written on their gate)

goldendraco: Why are they doing this to us, had to change my ticket today. Wednesday is bad news for me too, last day I'm given to resume is on the 10th. The collection duration is becoming longer than the visa processing duration. Am hoping and counting on tomorrow

Got approval mail on Monday 29th Sept.

I thought it was meant to take 2 working days from approval to collection but the guys I met there said its 5 working days.

perfect08: I received the mail on Monday. I don't have much time to spare. This public holiday is messing up things seriously. I hope they will move my documents with you guys.

I can't just get what VFS is up to. It takes four working days for documents to be moved to embassy and make a decision (Excellent) and another four working days just to return the documents to their office (Pathetic).

Will be going there today but maybe around 12 - 1 pm.

Anyone going earlier can also drop the outcome here.

I hope to be leaving by this weekend for Cranfield, although I'm yet to collect my documents from the application center.

Since you applied @ Abuja, you shouldn't have any problems with unnecessary delays.

VFS Ikeja will still be open, just that they won't process UK Visa again. From the report we obtained from Abuja peeps, VFS Ikeja will still be open. When do you plan to go collect your documents?

IyawoToBe: Yes. Am planning on using Ikeja. But it says on the form that we can't pay cash at the centre. Do you know of another option?

Yesterday when I went for my interview, I asked a security man inside the building if one can pay the visa fee @ VFS and he said yes, but you have to pay extra.

I don't know how true his info is, but I'll advice you to try and find a way to get inside and get the correct information from the staff inside.

If you have been @ VFS before, you will see a poster on the gate that says they do visa application and make payments at the centre and you can make enquiries there.

The only challenge is getting the security @ the gate to let you in. But if you have a concrete complaint, I believe they will.

PS: According to the online appointment booking, VFS has no more available date (till Sept 30), so your best bet is to go to their office to clarify issues.

perfect08: Thank God for today. I had my interview at Ikeja VFS today, now the waiting begins. When do you guys think decision will be made. My school resumed yesterday and I have until 10th October to enrol. I hope this upcoming public holidays will spoil my plan.
