This week Saturday is our baby's naming ceremony but my wife is insisting that her pastor must be the one officiate the naming the child, we've been disagreeing over this for some couple of days now,

she has called me all sorts of names, insulted me that I'm a very wicked man that I have no conscience, that after she pain and tearing she went through and still going through, I can't make this as a sacrifice for her, that I choose my family over her. She said so because my family also insist too that the naming must be done by our pastor.

But she's keying on the fact that she won't agree for the naming to be done in my church that it must be done by her pastor, she has cried and insulted me regarding this. Yesterday when we were arguing about this same particular issue she starting crying endlessly and calling me a wicked man.

I have finally agreed for her to use her pastor to do the naming, although I don't know her pastor and haven't seen him before, but I only agreed because of the CS operation she did while giving birth, her endless crying might affect her, if not there's absolutely no way possible I'd have agreed.

I must say that she doesn't know the repercussions of what sha has done by challenging my authority and always wanting to have her way with tears all the time. But time sha tell, I'm in so much rage right now, and I'm trying my possible best to control myself and not to loose my anger over this.

You are the curse of your problem, how did you come into agreement with your wife to worship in a particular church while you are doing same in another church, how did you come to that conclusion? You broke your home from the very beginning so what advice are you looking for on nairaland? I share your view and I think you must have been tracking Lagos method of handling cases like this.

I pity the family of the stupid police officer, he messed up big time in a wrong place (Lagos). Lagos no dey joke with this kind case, to make the mater worse, he is an officer who in the eyes of the law, is supposed to protect the child.
He should just write of 10 to 15years of his life time for this case

One thing have realized over time without sentiment is that so many big men and woman are actually into dealings. Very few with legit deals . Hmmmm

99% are involved in one shady deal or the other, some are shady but made legal/ethical by the power that surrounds the person.
The common ones are bribing which they call lobbying or appreciation, insider trading which they consider as taking advantage of available info, data trading etc.
A bank was able to recover it's hug money with heritage just about a week before it was shot down, someone definitely blew the secret plot for certain amount and the person is enjoying his share now.

Nigerian way of politics is now selling abroad like fufu and Amala. Yesterday it was Ghanaian politicians that were on the street frying akara, making womens hair, Washing clothes etc and today, a man who previously see nothing good in Trump is now his deputy in the race, is he going to continue his critism of Trump or he will tell us something new like our politicians usually do under this situation?
Cross carpeting will be our next style of politics to be sold out, let's watch out for the country that will buy that product.

When NDIC announced the liquidation of heritage bank, the promise it made to Nigerians was that within one week, payment would have been made to all depositors between ₦1 to ₦ 5m, directly into their alternative account, using their BVN to identify the alternative account. but one month after the announcement, many depositors, if not all are yet to get a dime out of their money with heritage bank.
Nigerians should help us talk to NDIC to do the right thing so as to restore the confidence of the general public on the banking sector.
The worst thing is that NDIC has remained silent since on 21 June, that was the last time they post something on the issue on their Facebook account. Myself, like many others out their have been having sleepless nights, this is 2am and I can't sleep. Please people should help us tage NDIC on various platforms just to ask them to do the needful before people start dying out of hunger and frustration.
