mu2sa2: And Jonathan was on CNN calling on the western countries to come and bomb nigerians in the name of fighting so-called terrorists. We hav repeatedly said here on NL that the govt is never interested in ending the revolt in parts of the north because the violence is a gold mine for corrupt top brass in the military and politicians. Imagine a poverty-stricken land budgeting one trillion naira for so-called defence! A greater chunk of that money goes straight into the pockets of powers that be while some ignoramus folks will be spewing insult on NL. They dont know that today it is NE, but tomorrow it will be the oil-producing areas now beginning their agitation- aonther theatre is about to open for JTF to go on a fresh round of killing innocent people!

NSNA: I was been sarcastic about America saving Africa from Europe.

What Africa needs to do as a matter of urgency is to break the borders. Africa will never be taken seriously until they to this. Even European countries are shying away from using individual countries name and they prefer to use West Africa, North Africa etc

African relationship between countries before the Arab spring was the best ever.

Now they have strange people leading them in the North Africa that the rest of Africa really do not know.

They are moving into the West using Mali as an excuse.

They really really badly want to come for Nigeria hence the Boko Haram that no one knows who is funding them.

Also Hilary Clinton as to leave because it just does not fit for her to be handling pending issues.

did you know that Obama throughout is 4 years only visited Ghana for just a few hours and Egypt for some Arab whatever talks.

Obama cannot be seen friendly with Africa because of what they are planning to do. Things they cannot do to a friend.

The keyword to Africa success and strength is Unification, and this is a talk that Nigeria and South Africa need to sit down and sign pen to paper. All the west Africans will follow Nigeria's lead and all the Southerners will follow South Africa, Every country will join the majority so as not to be left out.

They really are planning on coming believe it on not.

China can actually stop this if they too pretend to be terror fighters and deploy 50,000 soldiers to Mali.
south africa ? A white man country ! you think they would support africa to liberate themselves against the europeans and Americans ?

LOL, take a look at all Indigenous african multinationals, Multichoice, MTN, etc where do think they got the fundings, experience etc from ? South African ingenuity ? LOL

am not much of a fan of all this pan-african rubbish. Moreover Nigeria is NOT PART OF AFRICA. We are different, we just happen to be located in africa.

Then surely PDP would lose. Nigerians should not vote PDP at the federal level again if they are smart. PDP cannot win federal again.

take dat: GEJ is on a suicidal mission if he depends on ex-cons like Bode George and Kashamu to help win SW votes. The SW is too politically sophisticated to fall prey to these irrelevant thieves.
And so depending on ex-drug dealer and a present Asiwaju company of Nigeria would help him ? Maybe you think all SWerners are as gullible as you people.

J12: Lol @ Azikiwe introducing tribalism in Nigeria.
You're one funny hell of a nigga
LOL you sound funnier my sister if you do not know of Azikwe's tribalism that

1. Introduced a mini war in the western Nigeria
2. Divided Yorubas and Igbos till date
3. Which eventually lead to a civil war that killed Nigerians

I don't have to argue. Go read up on The FATHER OF TRIBALISM, NNAMDI AZIKWE

slimghost: The same fools you see shouting "Nigeria is fuccked", "we want a referendum","break the country pls" are the same idiiots criticizing Ojukwu. Anyway, there is an adage in Igbo that says "What an elder sees while sitting down, a kid won't see same even while on top of an iroko tree". Who gives 2 fuccks abt Nigeria? Ojukwu is a Biafran Hero!
1. that is not an Igbo Adage but a Yoruba. Where did Igbo get Iroko from ? Even the name Iroko is yoruba

The tree does not grow in the SE part of Nigeria so stop the lies here

2. LOL

J12: Ojukwu is not a national hero. Also, Not all Igbos see Ojukwu as their hero.

Do we have any national hero apart from Azikiwe anyway?
No Azikwe introduced tribalism to Nigeria so he can never be a hero to all Nigerians that know their history

This is not a matter of Chameleon. Before I type, I get my facts right and have thought deeply about it.

The problem we have in Nigeria is that we hate change even if the change is for the better. Yes I am guilt of that at times but sentiment apart, Lagosians think
PoliticsRe: 2nd Niger Bridge - Has It Been Politicized? by aljharem(m): 2:59pm On Jan 12, 2013
Look you all, I have nothing to gain from any party in Nigeria other than good governance. I was the one that said GEJ winning the presidenial election would spell disaster. Yes I was right

I was the one that championed ACN FASHOLA AND OSHOIMOLE among others. Yes I was right

I was the one that said Oil was in Lagos. Yes I was right

Make no mistake,, voting ACN in 2015 as Lagos governor would spell disaster. LP and ACCORD are small parties that can be bought.

PDP is the only opposition here that can make ACN be on their toes. I just don't speak without facts.
Though I expect you to deny it, you are on record in many of your previous posts as a great lover of PDP. As usual, you will try to deceive those new to nairaland that you are neutral, by pretending that Labour party/Accord party etc are also better propositions for Lagos. But we know the truth - you want PDP in power in Lagos. The same PDP that only last week selected Bode George (of the dubious fame)into the 16 or 17 man panel on electing the party's new BOT Chairman.

Your constant yapping about Tinubu and ACN in Lagos is amusing. You guys have tried this since 1999, and your efforts have come to nothing to date, and I suspect same will happen in 2015.

Putting Lagos in the hands of your party (PDP)will be a grave mistake, and I know Lagos voters are not stupid to make that mistake.

The people can vote ACN out if they wish (though I doubt they will in 2015), but the beneficiary will not be PDP.
I am a neutral and would always be a neutral interms of Nigerian politics and you know that. There is no point trying to justify myself on this. Read my previous post and campaign for ACN. I have ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST PDP both for Lagos and federal.

Now the truth of the matter is ACN is a very corrupt party whether you and I like it or not.

It is funny how you all have demonize PDP but ALWAYS FAIL TO SEE THE CORRUPTION GOING ON IN ACN. LP. ACCORD ETC are all the same.

What is the difference if I contest and cannot win in PDP, I would simply go to ACN and they would accept me. So stop this nonsense of disparism here on Nairaland.

Now many times have Tinubu literally told you all that he stole and you all would still praise him.

Bode George and co are PDP member and it is the same PDP intitutions that arrested them. That is democracy not the one ACN is doing.

I have said it before, without Fashola and Oshomoile ACN would be long dead.
When Igbos talk of being treated unfairly in this country, some will say we are lying.

This bridge was commisioned in 1965, and since then no other one has been constructed for such a busy crossing; whereas over in Lagos many more bridges have been added since the first one (the Carter bridge i think undecided) was built.

I was watching the news the other day, and saw a report on a spanking new railway line being built between Kaduna and Abuja (don't know if it's high-speed though); a high quality, top-of-the-line construction with solid pillars and other stuff. This contract would obviously cost billions of naira, and my point is that you didn't notice any dilly-dallying and faffing about before the project was designed, funded and awarded to a reputable contracting firm. I just watched this report and shook my head. Upon all GEJ is doing for them, yet they are not happy and say they are being sidelined and want the presidency back!?.....what then would they say of the poor Igbos/south east that have absolutely NOTHING world-clas and substantial to show for being part of this country since the late 60's.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i reckon the last major Nigerian contract/job in the south east, was this Niger Bridge.
When Yorubas and Hausas were protesting against their leaders, where were Ndigbos last year january ? What did you call those yorubas that have decided to make those leading over them ? Tribalist.

It is better the OP and You SHUT UP ( no insult my brothers) and enjoy the reward of democracy without accountability from your leaders.

I was asking why you all were not protesting, you all shouted the Yorubas and Huasas wanted GEJ out. If that was the case, why did they attact IBB, OBJ, TINUBU and co's property ? Una think say una smart by not protesting. I pleaded for SE to protest about Igbo killing, Niger-bribge and co. You all decided to keep shut, according to some of you, you are playing the Nigeria games.

PLAYING GAMES WITH YOUR CHILDREN'S FUTURES. I CAN'T IMAGINE

Already the question of Igbo presidency should end with Soludo recent scandal.

It is not a curse but Trust me, The CORE-NORTH and SOUTH-WEST including western delta Kwara and Kogi would keep getting the best from any administration so long as they make their leaders accountable for their actions.

Already I hope these stu.pid South-west aka Yoruba people don't fall for the same silly games by electing ACN in Lagos 2015. Already their stu.pidity of not asking where Tinubu is getting in millions of pounds is making SW look very poor in terms of the money they are getting anf the money they are actually spending on their citizens.

If una like 2015 don't vote PDP out of the Federal position

If una like don't vote ACN out of Lagos

You all would have yourselves to blame. Play on your government and stop letting your government play on you all like goats

I just pray that Niger-bridge does not collapse because it would be a natural disaster for us. angry

larride: Gov. Fash has done a lot for Lagos State and the ban on okada won't change the mind of average Lagosians. Even the okada riders have moved on.
OP those that dislike Fashola are nothing more than Ethnic bigots.

Now Majority of us Lagosians love fashola for his effort but we indeed dislike Tinubu. At times because of his association with Tinubu they tend to rubbish Fashola at times.

If Fashola knows what he is doing, he should drop the excess luggage and move on before tinubu lands him in trouble in later years which I know it would happen.
