PoliticsRe: Who Will Be The Presidential Candidate Of The Newly Merged Parties? by aljharem(m): 10:50pm On Feb 06, 2013
Ngwakwe: For sure, if the SE feels they are welcomed into the brotherhood called APC/Nigeria on equality and spirit of reconciliation the bygone will certainly be reckoned as the past.
Hmmmmm I and other nigerians are not too certain of that and it is for a good reason, the reason being some GEJ sentiment still lies among SEerners. SW and NW are scared of this.

Although I don't mind seeing a Rochas presidency ( since he is the only one majority of us know). What do you think ?
PoliticsRe: Who Will Be The Presidential Candidate Of The Newly Merged Parties? by aljharem(m): 10:25pm On Feb 06, 2013
Ngwakwe: Those people that can competently serve as ministers on merit or some successful captains of industries.
Ngwakwe: Emeka Anyaoku the former Common Wealth President who served ten years.
can he grantee the SE votes ? becos that is one of the reason for the merger.
PoliticsRe: Who Will Be The Presidential Candidate Of The Newly Merged Parties? by aljharem(m): 10:14pm On Feb 06, 2013
Ngwakwe: You think Yoruba and Hausa are supreme tribes and Igbos are all Sachet water sellers and beggars littered all around Nigerian major cities.

Goodluck to you.
No not at all, I am sure he does not mean it that way. Give us a credible Igbo candidate and reason why he should be placed above likes mentioned earlier. Make people see reason and don't start talking about superiority etc.
PoliticsRe: Who Will Be The Presidential Candidate Of The Newly Merged Parties? by aljharem(m): 10:04pm On Feb 06, 2013
Wadeoye: Hear the foool. Yoruba and Hausa should get a Igbo technocrat to be president. The most foolish person I have ever read from.
He has a point, lets hear him out first before persecution.
PoliticsRe: Who Will Be The Presidential Candidate Of The Newly Merged Parties? by aljharem(m): 10:03pm On Feb 06, 2013
Ngwakwe: If the mega party or South West Yorubas and Northern Hausas cannot get one Igbo technocrat or politician who can take the mantle of leadership after all these years of their sons occupying the presidential villa in Abuja, then there's no hope or desire for South East to support this alliance and be used as compensate.

APGA will be better as a stand alone political party that will never present a candidate for presidency but can enter into alliance with any party that are ready to accede to its sets of demands for better development of South East and a well developed federal presence.

You need Igbos vote come let's negotiate.
So which Igbo technocrat or politician do you suggest. ( I am supporting your views here)

GAR3TH: The hell are you talking about? Travel a large distance? You do realize Nigeria is a small country in terms of size. Second, military academy is like any other university, you apply from your home, recruiter or online. local "advertisement" as you put it does not matter at all nor does it effect enrollment. So your telling me that all the Nigerians in the university of Manchester needed the school to relocate to Nigeria and be advertise for them to apply, nonsense.

Can you explain to me what is wrong with the current military academy expect for it location, NOTHING. Relocation's the schools will solve Nothing and wont change a damn thing to the education and skill they get. Its just a complete waste of money, time and resources to be building military academies in every regional zone or state, Not only that but its also pointless.

Almost every military academy in the USA is located on the east coast, but do you see the west coast complaining about such a mundane and stup!d situation, NO. Why because its pointless. You Nigerians are such f00ls, complaining about the location for a military academy base off your f00lish tribalist sentiments and egotistic regionalism. Instead of addressing the main situation and calling for reform and transparency so every one has a fair chance of getting into the academy, you do what Nigerians are known best. Ignore the main situation and spend billion without solving the original problem.

Tell me If we build a military academy in the south west geo zone, who will dominate, Yoruba, in the south east who will dominate, Igbos. What about the minority groups in the south west and south east, they to will start complaining of domination and not being able to get in. You just created the same exact problem that you were trying to solve. many times I question the intellect of Nigerians, Why not address the issue of transparency and every person having a fair share of getting enrolled in the academy, than wasting billions of dollars not even addressing the main issue at all.
GOOD !!!!!!!!!! YOU THINK WELL MY BROTHER. YOU THINK LIKE EITHER A YORUBA void of sentiment. ARE YOU RELATED TO THEM ?

VERY intelligent reasoning

Very very good. I am really impressed we still have people like you in this country.

gbammmm + 10000000000

They should pay their employees more rather than pay some musician.
PoliticsRe: Lagos To Introduce Cable Cars For Mass Transportation. by aljharem(m): 12:27pm On Feb 03, 2013
nooooooo, noooooo!!! angry

this is bad idea! this is like laying tracks for trams, except instead of on surface we are suspending it in the sky. this is bad idea. how do you combine fast tracks planned for the metro rails with outdated drags?

let us expand development hinterland into yoruba townships instead of wasting money in one spot to construct multi layers of redundant projects.

Eko Ile please share with the Governor to convert this money and erect a parallel fast track to compete with nigerian railway corporation. we need to depopulate lagos. people can live in oyo and commute daily to lagos to work. it is possible for people in osun to commute back and forth daily to lagos. it is called speed train or bullet train. sky cable cars will only incite the remaining millions left in villages to troop into lagos and be part of the skyriding crowd.

bad bad bad policy on this one......scrap it!
Good one Negro, Omo oduadwa ni e tokan tokan. You definitely have a thinking head
PoliticsRe: G8 Leaders To Discuss Nigeria’s Controversial Oil Wealth Wastage by aljharem(m): 12:25pm On Feb 03, 2013
ocelot2006: Yeah, because the looting began with GEJ's administration. Forget about past military regimes and last 2 democratic administrations were governors, including your beloved Tinubu, looted this country's coffers dry. Heap it all on an administration that's trying to cut down on spending and instill a culture of saving, one that even BRF kicked against.
Yes you are very correct but because it did not start with GEJ administration, it means it must continue ?

This is civil war 2.0 the real civl war , winner takes all any side that wins should forcely colonise the other and rule nigeria
So, ki ni big deal? If the man favours his people? clear case of giving a dog a bad name to hang it. Who are those shouting and trying to skin this man alive because he is ibo?

Even though, I don't support any corruption or trying to hold brief for him but I want to shamelessly say here that the recruitment process in Nigeria military has alway been like this, right from the time immemorial. Those without sin should cast the first stone!.

Now, where were these people writing petition when small town like Zuru emirate council in Kebbi State produced many generals? The likes of General Ishaya Bamaiyi, Musa Bamaiyi, General Sani Sami? Jakolo?? No one complained when Musa Bamaiyi and Ishaya Bamaiyi, both Generals and brothers from thesame parents became ministers simultaneously?

Where were these people when General Ishaya Bamaiyi the then COAS enlisted truck loads of miscreants from his village into the Nigerian army disregarding the due process and the useless quota system?

Many of which can't even write their names? There was a time when more than half of recruits in Kaduna Jaji came from his village and at thesame time populating NDA with Zuru indigenes. Yes, quote me anytime!!!!

Selective Promotionhuh Where were they when Obj promoted Nuhu Ribadu from mere Assistance Commissioner of Police ( ACP) to Assistance Inspector General of Police (AIG), the first of its kind in the history of the Nigerian police blatantly against the recommendation of Police Service Commission?
well said my brother

Abeg they are making a mountain out of mole hill. Why are they quoting 1966-1967 angry do they know what they are talking about.

All these years Igbos have been short changed in the military, why did they not cry foul. Rather they kept quiet while they (North and SW) enjoyed the military system.

Let the man do his job abegi, stop bring tribalism to everything in this country.

What rubbish ! Very sson he would be replaced and the next person would do the same so lets not pretend here.
Can you list the number of people murdered but ACN? what a snoring evolving monkey you are.
dude, I am yoruba tokan tokan but please tell ACN to win elections fair and square without bribing the Judges.

The SW has always since before the creation of Nigeria that we are very democratic and fair when choosing a leader. Now it seems like money wins elections in the SW especiacially Tinubu's money.

Absolute breakdown of OUR FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES THAT MADE THE SW GREAT. WE ARE DECLINING WITH THIS ATTITUDE
PoliticsRe: Obanikoro Loses Ikoyi/obalende LCDA by aljharem(m): 7:51pm On Feb 01, 2013
pro01: The Appeal Court (particularly the South West divisions) needs to be fumigated with lethal gases to eliminate the Tinubu rodents that have taken over the place. Something needs to be done fast, and in this instance I support the use of Federal (extra-judicial) might to get those foolish and corrupt Tinubu justices out of the way - if that is what it takes to sanitise the place. I thought this nonsense would have ended with Justhief Salami's deserved elimination.

They cannot win elections fair and square. . .they must always run to their paid servants in the Appeal Court for kangaroo judgments. Utter rubbish. Let's wait and see how far they can go with this strategy in 2015.
