You have some point my brother. But am sure this is the beginning of good things to come. If the Nigeria does not want to move forward industrialization to compete with Asian Tigers (Japan and China), then SE will not be deterred and more especially Anambra the home of the biggest private auto plant in West Africa will never be discouraged by the antics of people that does not want the good of Ndigbo.
If it is tribalism that is stopping the Fg from investing in Innoson then Nigeria is one messed up country. Making Anambra our technology hub in Nigeria or Africa would not kill us. really !!!!

I would be honest with you, the FG was thinking of creating jobs but Innoson an industrialist is waiting to be trapped and the FG is just praising them and not helping them out.

What would it take Nigeria government to reduce her imported cars by 50 % so more people would patronise her. It is a shame that it is only in Nigeria industrilist beg her government rather than the other way around

Beaf: If you are not stup!d, please tell us how comparing Akwa Ibom to Lagos is an "ethnic dimension?"
Lol! There's so much to laugh at on NL!

In my opinion, Akpabio is the best governor in Nigeria. What is ethnic dimension to that? This whole mixing of ethnicity and politics is due to the obnoxious politics of ACN. Thanks to ACN, these days, there are all sorts of animals roaming NL and employing ethnic blackmail to protect their political interests. The place is packed tight with fungi and fools (you are number one); its like a disease infection.

What is the ethnic dimension in my prefering Akpabio to Fashola? The US ambassador also rated Akpabio as the best in wikileaks, so what was the ethnic dimension?

You are an unrepentant fool.
Can you shut it already. I am not talking in terms of Akwa Ibom or Lagos

the ethnic dimension in terms of ACN is a bigoted party just because they don't support your ideology.

MUST ACN FOLLOW PDP INTO THE SAME DITCH ?

MUST ACN SUPPORT GEJ BECAUSE HE IS FROM THE SOUTH LIKE APGA DID ?

IS TINUBU AND AREGEBSOLA THE ONLY ACN MEMBERS YOU CAN POINT FINGERS AT ? ARE YOU BLIND TO OTHERS ?

MUST YOU KEEP DISPLAYING YOUR BIGOTRY BY CALL ACN A BIGOTED PARTY JUST BECAUSE THEY WON THE SW AND NOT PDP ?

MUST ACN SUPPORT EVERYTHING GEJ SAYS SO THEY WOULD NO LONGER BE BIGOTED IN YOUR EYES.

such stu.pid accessions you display daily that you have turn yourself into a clown that is so predictable on what he would say you know it is bigotry.

Or have you forgotten the silly childish threads you opened few months back about SS/SE this because Nigerians protested against increase in fuel price.

Now tell me what has happened to Otedola now ? Tell me what has happened to Dantata now ? Tell me what has happened to Orji and Uba now ?

Yet your bigotry and propaganda is costing those that could barely feed themselves a day to die of stravation. You sir are an ideeiot
PoliticsFresh Communal Crisis Brews Between Ogbe-ijoh (ijaw), Aladja (urhobo) by aljharem(op): 2:43am On Mar 24, 2012
By Emma Amaize Warri
THE people of Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South-West Local Government Council of Delta State, yesterday, raised the alarm over a looming inter-communal clash between the kingdom and neighbouring Aladja community, an Urhobo ethnic group in Udu Local Government Area of the state.

The Ogbe-Ijoh Governing Council in a letter, addressed to the Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, entitled, “Looming inter communal clash between Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja communities: Save our Soul”, and signed by the chairman and secretary, Dr. Clarkson Aribogha and Hon Friday Deinghan respectively, said tension was very high between the two communities.

In their words, “As we write this petition, no person is allowed to move building materials to Ogbe-Ijoh town through Aladja community, the only access road to Ogbe-Ijoh town. This unwarranted action by the Aladja community is generating tension between the two communities as indigenes of Ogbe-Ijoh, especially the youths perceive the action of the Aladja community as an invitation to war.

“This action by the Aladja community is provocative and meant to incite a clash between the two communities”, they stated.

According to them, “If not for the intervention of the leadership and elders of Ogbe-Ijoh kingdom, the situation would have degenerated into inter communal clash, if not Ijaw / Urhobo inter ethnic clash.

The situation at present is tense and calls for urgent attention. It would interest you to note that the 1996 inter communal clash between these two communities paved the way for the Warri crisis and later Niger Delta crisis”.

The Ogbe-Ijoh community, however, noted with dismay that “government has not taken serious interest in the resolution of this problem”, asking, “Is government waiting till when there would be a bloodbath before intervening? It would be recall that the 1996 crisis degenerated to loss of lives and destruction of properties because of the lackadaisical attitude of government”.

Consequently, it demanded among other things that Aladja community, through its leadership, should be called to order to avoid breakdown of law and order, especially in view of the fact that they have already taken the matter to court.

“Men of the Joint Task Force, should as a matter of urgency , be sent to patrol between Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh to nip in the bud any act that would lead to communal clash and establishment of army check points in Aladja main town.

“Government should put more efforts towards the resolution of the problem”, they stated, reminding the governor that Ogbe-Ijoh town, headquarters of Warri South West Local Government Area is only accessible on land through Aladja community and being that Ogbe-Ijoh town is the headquarters of Warri South West Local Government Area, most of the local government workers and property developers transport their building materials through the land.

In their words, “The Aladja community has been taking advantage of their position as access community to stop the movement of people going to Ogbe-Ijoh town, especially property developers”.

They said that as a result of the strained relationship between these two communities, “Your government in 2010 set up a Commission of Inquiry to look into the remote and immediate cause of the problem. However, up till date government has not taken any step to address the issue and the situation is degenerating to a state of lawlessness”.

“As an interim solution to the problem, your government directed that the two communities should not do anything in the buffer zone in the land in dispute. However, despite this directive, the Aladja community continues to excavate sand from this part of the land. The Ogbe-Ijoh people have reported this incident to your government and security agents on several occasions, but the excavation are still on”, they said.

“Also, the Chief Tunde Smooth -led mediation committee, which you gave two week to resolve the problem sometime in March 2011, has not been able to resolve the dispute between the two communities. This is because the two communities could not agree on an acceptable boundary point”

CuteTj: Definitely there are always are few bad eggs amongst alot of good eggs. Agreed that you hate Tinubu and Aregbesola but don't forget that they not only the members of ACN, then if Oshiomole/ Fashola/ and other ACN members do anything worth applauding, applaud them. And let me mention that In some of your other posts, you often belittle Fashola's achievements.
LOL whether he belittles him or not, it does not change the fact of what fashola has done.

I dislike ACN as well, infact I am a PDP man but never ever in my life would I support corruption. If you notice those belittling fashola's achievement are those wishing to live in Lagos or leave their village for Lagos.

Yes Tinubu is Ojoyibo

Aregbesola is a loud mouth person. all these I use to agree with Beaf before until it took an ethnic dimension. I wonder how a sane human, I mean A SANE HUMAN BEING would compare Akwa Ibom or Imo to Lagos in recent years ?

They say lagos is bad etc but they keep immigrating to the state as a matter of thousands each day. It is madness I tell you.

I like APGA as well with like of Rochas

PDP too is not all bad but how many PDP member can I point at ? I can't even think of one without corruption charges or some sort.

Oshomole today has charged Edo state for good, people are immigrating to this same EDO state yet they would insult the whole ACN.

Should we look at Oyo where people are now immigrating to now, these are the same people insulting ACN and yorubas o !!!

Ibadan has changed beyond my believe compared to the last time I visited.

Just last week or so the FG awarded X amount of billions to the senators for new cars

WHY ON EARTH ARE DOES CARS NOT FROM INNOSON ? and we call this current crop of people as leaders.

As it is now, the Oil sector in Nigeria has been turned upside down, thanks to Alison, GEJ and co

Mumu that want to improve oil sector without building a refinery, It is like wanting to improve your football skills without a football to train on.

Now we have an industrialist such as Innoson, ready to stop Nigerians or Africans from importing 99% of their vehicles outside the continent. This mumus are not patronising him.

It is a big pity that Innoson is in Nigeria, I bet other countries like Egypt and co would have jumped at the opportunity.

Innoson, don't worry Nigerians are behind you.

Interesting to see Nigerians angry at one of their own. Yes Iweala is corrupt but I still fail to see why we can not support her ?

One person made a point, I think it was Machy1234 and said something about "if we keep pulling our own down, others would not help us pull them up".

You all, I can categorcally tell you that Iweala is not as bad as Etta or Alison.

Although looking at it from a political point of view, it might seem that their is a policy the world want to push on another Nigerian, so as to blame her if things go wrong.

My advice for Iweala is to allow Allah take control of the issue.

ACN and PDP have the same members but just transferring parties. Tinubu needs to free Fashola so he can work better.

One thing is clear. Yoruba and Igbos have totally different Ideologies. Yes the words might be similar etc but custom, what each respect and political ideologies are totally different. Just like engine oil and water. It is unfortunate but true and we should not deceive ourselves.

Although we have this differences it does not mean yoruba and igbos should hate or have prejudices against each other. We all can out grow pettiness and move Nigeria forward as a unite rather than 3 unites.

Well, I hope for the best.

Same with Ibori in 2007

They claim that increase in fuel price would cut the cabals. Today Dantata, Orji and Adenuga are living even larger and making more money by simply selling fuel for 250 naira in portharcourt blackmarket and co.

bittyend: Yo, that's me bruv. I just had to think about the madness. My best friend is Igbo and I never grew up around segregating Nigerian tribes - I was raised as a Nigerian In London. I don't even know how I got caught up in this tribal madness - but I can't deny my Igbo friends - neither am I gonna deny Igbo food that I love so much.

I'm not Azikwe, Awolowo nor ojukwu - those men are DEAD and BURIED!! We need to let go, and move on. The Biafra war ended years ago - we need to move on and look for ways to make Nigeria better for the generations after us. We can't keep holding on to the past, and stay stuck in feeling sorry for ourselves. Our enemies are the ELITES from all tribes looting our commonwealth - whilst they keep us divided. We need to forge alliances and fight our real enemies - which are the elites.

What do Yoruba and Igbo mean any ways? These are words that don't even exist in the two languages and we're fighting over these words. It just shows how stupid and ignorant we're.
CAN ANYONE, ANYBODY, EXPLAIN HOW THIS

CORRELATE OR ADDRESSED ANYTHING THIS WOMAN SAID

TRUELY SOME PEOPLE HAVE READING PROBLEM AND ONE-SIDED THINKING ON THIS FORUM.
I've noticed, its become my job to point out stuff to people on this forum

I don't know about una Yoruba but for most Igbo, the mistrust towards Yoruba began after the civil war. Ndi-Igbo na lie she lie?

Of the highlighted, Did she lie? Didn't Adekunle kill innocent civilians, rather than attacking soliders whom he suppose to fight? Didn't Awolowo starve civilians, labeled Igbo properties abandoned and left every Igbo man 20 pounds, no matter how much they had in bank prior to the war? Aren't this two men heroes on Yorubaland and aren't Yoruba rejoicing over the death of the innocent women and children? Did she lie at all or are the behavior we see from Yoruba on this forum some kind of lie? Prove her wrong?

Second highlighted, Did she lie? Predominantly, No Igbo gives two cents about Lagos, all they care about is business, once that is over or there is nothing to benefit from Lagos, they will waka, that is one of the main reason you barely see Igbo on other parts of SW. Ndi-Igbo, na lie I dey lie? The Igbo owns 70% lagos came out of retaliation, AGAIN NA LIE? Prove me wrong

In regards to the rest, wasn't after the war that the north began their "born to rule mentality", again na lie?

Rather than address some the sh1t the woman said, some fools will stir the train another direction

Lastly, provide the proof that Nnamdi marginalized anyone in Nigeria. Lastly, if u no sabi sh1t, keep shut. Nnamdi is neither a hero, nor villian to Igbo people. He is just nnamdi shikena

Of all the highlighted from your post, prove it. Provide the proof that anyone warned Nnamdi, provide the conversation, provide anything.

Did we lie about GEJ? was it not Yoruba and Hausa that started their propaganda over him and Ngozi, why didn't una do the same during SW and North rule or do you think we are blind?

Last but not least, Asari Dokunbo attack Yoruba, Igbo gets blamed. On NL, beaf attack yoruba, Igbo gets blamed, any ND attacks Yoruba, igbo gets blamed Weren't you one of the people running around before shouting GEJ is an Igbo man or do you want me to start bringing out that line of comments from you.

Lastly on the Lagos attack, how many Igbo have una seen both online or out making fun of those that died during that attack, now compare it to the amount of yoruba whom ridicule the death of starving children, the attack of Asaba, etc.

Alj_harem go sit your lying, chamelon @ss down somewhere.
You see, I like you to be objective for once at least so we know there is One Objective Igbo alive

I would not deceive myself, Yes Nigeria have wronged the Igbos by going to a war and killing. Yes we have wrong the Igbo but for how long do we keep pushing the blame on Hausa/fulani and yorubas ? For how long ?

It is no secret that immediately after the war Awolowo was the only leader out the Igbo people that welcome Igbos back to the west (not only lagos) and gave them back their properties and children that remained in the west.

If yorubas hate the Igbos as you people paint it, why was their properties given back to them ? Today in Rivers state of which their are Igboid group in, have they given the Igbos back their properties ? NO

It is no secret that Ojukwu and Awolowo were good friends till they both died, So are you younger generation filled with hate ?

I wonder how many Igbos are in cross river and Balysea cabinet like they are in the west ?

You see One_Naira, don't be a hypocrite here

The thread was started as a sober reflection for we all Until Machy1234 etc started the blame game that is one thing that annoys me the most.

Yes I knew it would be hijacked by tribalist but I do not expect some certain people to post or be tribalistic about it yes even Machy1234.

Then I posted a similar thing I read and Machy1234 and co were angry. Why I ask ?

We also have feelings so don't post something you know you cannot take yourself.

Forgive my outburst, Here is where I leave this thread.
PoliticsRe: Has Tribalism On Nairaland Affected You Negatively? by aljharem(m): 3:31pm On Mar 22, 2012
The more you Igbos call the yorubas and indigene of lagos the more they dislike una. I was a typical yoruba before, careless, loved Igbos to bits, saw Lagos as both igbo and yorubaland, equal rights etc Until Ideiots started insulting yorubas with such venom I could not resist but form a login Just to find out why they hate yorubas that much.

A poster named Ezeuche then told me (2 years ago) that it is because of Biafra war, Awolowo, yoruba etc. I was shocked and was surprised that Awolowo (A role model) could do such until I actually found out that this Igbo Internet warriors lied to me.

It is funny because the more you insult the yoruba, the more they distance themselves for Igbo people. Fact !!!
