They only do it to get a reaction.

And when they get a reaction, it makes us look like them.

Let them continue with their buffoonish actions while we laugh at them.[/quote]good

Gbawe:
Alhaji, you are brighter than this na . The FG cannot legally hold back the allocations accruing to States from the federation accounts. Those gangster days are gone with OBJ . End of Story !!!The myth a State will suffer from not being under the PDP is entirely that - a myth. Anyway , how well have PDP States fared ? Have they done better than Lagos under Fashola and the ACN ?

I believe You also  know of IGR ? Internally generated revenue? Well , no one does it better than Lagos under Fashola and the ACN because the ideology of Tinubu and indeed his like-minded ACN progressives is that States should not indolently and cluelessly wait for disbursement from Abuja. Rather think as if you are cut off from the centre and you will thrive. Whatever comes from Abuja then becomes a bonus for a region where progressive politics ensures that folks cooperate to work for accelerated progress. It aint Rocket Science . Folks in the SW are happy because we now have guys in place who can take a Proactive, logical and scientific approach to leadership plus , most importantly, they will work with others for the progress of the region rather than pander to egotistic pontification as Daniel, Alao Akala and PDP Governors do .

Now folks like us are encouraged to suggest initiatives we believe will be inspected seriously and implemented if deemed feasible. I dare GEJ to attempt what you say .  Nobody , I repeat , Nobody will hold the SW back. We are no longer willing to persevere with an indolent, clueless and irredeemably corrupt centre that gulps so much and gives nothing back in return. Lets see how well those who are "under" the PDP umbrerra will fare .
hmmm Gbawe of oxford u are right and that is why i am angry right now at the north for CPC not getting all the seats there angry

Hey! I dey laff o, fashola ko, fashola ni, fashola will only win 'yoruba votes' all the PDP has to do is present a 'wamako' or a 'sule lamido' for president and a 'chime' or a 'soludo' 4rm the SE, then u'll see all the so-called 'achievements' & 'qualifications' crumble like a pack of cards, even the SE pple in the SW will vote 4 'their' brother. Nigerians are interested in sentiments, even the elites are sentimental, even if fashola builds 10,000 bridges, nobody will recognise that. If fashola wants to win, he should join PDP and leave tinubu alone!
and yet u are igbo living in lagos

enjoying his policy

enjoying lagos life and go back to ur village to insult the governor

well to the yorubas, the solution is simple, do operation wetie on people like this after this election se we can see road

it is iddeiot like this that keep voting PDP and enjoy in ACN states

do wetie on them fast

nuff said undecided

Aside planting of flowers and grasses under some notable bridges and fly overs and making attemp to de silt drainages , is there anything else fashola has done.

Are people voting him because lagosians love him or based on his performance , performance wise records of people like Amaechi , Gov of Akwaibom has to be looked , I.e if zoning is actually dead.

Lagosboy:
I am talking based on the current political dynamics, i am not basing my statement on wishful thinking.

ACN has no viable structure in the northern part of Nigeria, ACN has no viable structure in the SS . If a northern candidate emerges , the north would vote for him and if a SE candidate emerges as well the SE will vote. ACN can never win any presidential election in this country except it goes into an alliance with another party.

ACN fielded a northerner in Ribadu and could not get up to 800000 votes in the whole of the north out of a possible 18 million who voted. How will Fashola a southerner win an election in the north without a strucuture on ground. The mistake most of us in the SW especially make is that we see the world from our perspective alone . The same way Buhari could not make in roads to the south will be the same way Fashola will not make inroads into the north.

Let us put perfomance aside because , the Nigerians we have today will not vote based on perfomance . The independent minded voters who vote based on perfomance do not win an election rather it is the lower echelon of the society that deliver the votes that win an election.
thank u

fashola needs to leave ACN if he going to have any chance

ACN is Asiwaju Company of Nigeria we need national party not a one godfather party

[s]I have read the most idiotic comments by Almajiri supporters on this thread and I just shake my head. The North is already on its way to becoming a terrorist haven, and you are here making excuses for the killing of innocent young Nigerians who had their throats slit like ordinary animals. If your defense is that PDP leaders are to blame for the recent unrest in the North, how do you explain the incessant killings of non Muslims or non Indigenes since the Maitatsine, Akaluka, Plateau, and Kaduna riots?

How do you explain that despite holding on to power and oil money for 38 years you are still the most undeveloped region that has managed to keep us in the news for bad things (cholera, deaths from illegal mining, Abdulmuttallab, celebration over 9/11 and so many others). To show you that we are humans in the South, we have not touched your brothers here, but we will not allow your leaders take us for a ride again. Why should we suffer you silly decision to invite Chadians and Nigeriens to come and take over our country? Many of your leaders aren't even from Nigeria. Shame on you that foreigners came and settled in your midst, joined the army, and dictated to the rest of you. So the Southern leaders are bad? Maybe. But at least we are far more developed, educated and sophisticated than the barbarians up North that kill innocent people for nothing. A particular sick individual has shown very little empathy for the grieving families of those lost to your brigand of Buhari supporters, even going as far as calling them PDP thugs. So it was PDP thugs that forced the late Ukeoman Ikechukwu to register child voters for CPC? It was PDP thugs that screamed "SAI BUHARI" at the face of every one they perceived to be opponents. I shouldn't be surprised. I understand that your level of reasoning is what is to be obtained where you are from. Instead of you to be more humane in your approach to this situation, you are rubbing salt to open wounds and still talking "one Nigeria".

If your excuse is that your tomatoes, onions and garlic should be the reason for our sick marriage. Just give it a try, and see what happens. You never know until you try. You claim that the Niger Delta's lands have been polluted by oil. It was one of your one that killed Ken Saro Wiwa and nine others for agitating against environmental degradation in the Niger Delta, but never mind, money answereth all things. U.A.E does not need tomato, onion or garlic to prosper. Answer- OIL. We will so conveniently use our money and education to achieve a developed society that you guys up North will know that you made a mistake for taking the rest of Nigeria for fools. In the meantime continue to fantasize about a suffering South in the event of a break up. Enjoy!!! cool[/s]
