ACN has no viable structure in the northern part of Nigeria, ACN has no viable structure in the SS . If a northern candidate emerges , the north would vote for him and if a SE candidate emerges as well the SE will vote. ACN can never win any presidential election in this country except it goes into an alliance with another party.

ACN fielded a northerner in Ribadu and could not get up to 800000 votes in the whole of the north out of a possible 18 million who voted. How will Fashola a southerner win an election in the north without a strucuture on ground. The mistake most of us in the SW especially make is that we see the world from our perspective alone . The same way Buhari could not make in roads to the south will be the same way Fashola will not make inroads into the north.

Let us put perfomance aside because , the Nigerians we have today will not vote based on perfomance . The independent minded voters who vote based on perfomance do not win an election rather it is the lower echelon of the society that deliver the votes that win an election.
