christistruth01: Why did Ojukwu install the Igbo Speaking Major Okonkwo as Governor of the Midwest?
Banjo saw Ojukwu was busy doing an Afonja on him. Okonkwo is from the Midwest too. Was it wrong to appoint a Midwest as a president of Midwest Republic?
By the way the Nzegwu (not Nzeogwu) tribunal found Banjo not guilty
So Ojukwu quickly constituted anothe Kangaroo Court trial instead of setting Banjo free
Ps Nzegwu was an Airforce Officer |

christistruth01: If IPOB are already fighting for Territory in Rivers State while yet in Nigeria if Nigeria breaks you can be 100% Certain IPOB will try to seize a Sea Port in the Niger Delta irrespective of it not being part of their Ancestral territory
Why IPOB attacked the king of Onne's Palace during the Endsars Protests is Suspicious The whole Eastern Nigeria tribes know their boundaries and to the best of my knowledge I don't know any tribes that are fighting over borders today. Don't use state creation to confuse yourself. No tribe is encroaching on another's.ipob is not only Igbo, some esan, izon, efik/ibibio,ogoni,isoko, urhobo etc.the indigenous people. |

The best time the Ijaws and Niger Delta enjoyed in this country was under the Eastern region. Though I don't think the ND should share a country with Igbos if Nigeria breaks This niger delta you talk about, do you know that the Igbo are the largest tribe in terms of population in niger delta followed by ijaw? 9 local governments in delta is Igbo, 65% of rivers state is Igbo. There are Igbo in bayelsa and others niger delta States, benue and kogi state. I suppose you are not looking at 5 states as Igbo land? |

soundOsonic: This is the Igbo centrism we are talking about. Igbo don't need Niger delta, Naira delta need the Igbos?. If Biafra comes, this statement clearly shows how ego centric most Igbos are. You are not the first I have heard this from, neither are you the second. But seriously Niger Delta is just an end to a means. Igbos and the Hausas are just to end of thesame coin. The reason why they are at each other's neck is because they have very much in common than any ethnic group. What the Hausa are doing to Igbos in Nigeria, is what Igbos will do to the Niger Delta. Hausa and Igbo are in every villages in Nigeria they can't just stay one place.
Hausa and Igbo are at every market in Nigeria, they can't just let indigenes do their own market.
Hausa and Igbo are the ethnic group that does mostly petty businesses.
Hausa and igbo are the one with most unified religion (Christianity and Islam)
Hausa and igbo youths are ever ready to lose their life because of one supreme leader (Northern caliphate who lurks in the shadow and of course Kanu who ride to battle field with his keyboard) their youths are bunch of amateurs.
Hausa and igbo have the highest number of billionaires. (Shadow billionaires)
Hausa and igbo rarely gives their daughters to other tribe.
Hausa and igbo are not tolerant of other people religion.
Hausa and igbo for some strange reasons thinks they are destined to rule.
You all are thesame Stop this nonsense postulations In the new Biafra, each ethnic group will be self governing; have it's parliament, premier, police and control their resources 100% and can be a country of its own with asimple referendum.Very strong regions and weak centre. If Eastern Nigeria ethnic nationalities fails to liberate themselves from back ward Nigeria, they are doomed for ever. |

How can you keep accepting a people that have refused and rejected you before the world. This matter did not start today. It has been lingering for years even before the war, but yet some igbos will still be dragging them. Even jesus christ cannot behave like this.
What the ohaneze should be doing now is to remove people like the ikwerees from the group. Let everybody know where they stand and answer their fathers name. By doing this, everyone will know the people who are called nndigbo and address us as such. In fact, make I go sleep. This matter don vex me. If you are Igbo, you will remember that the fundamental Igbo philosophies are live and let live and don't leave brother. It's ingrained in Igbo blood to look after one another no matter the situation. |

Jbravo58: Someone please give a run down summary of what really transpired between GTB and Innoson?
Coz this case has been for years with no ending. 32b came from two issues . No.1 Innoson imported 32 knocked down spare parts with genuine licence from federal government. Nigeria customs seized and auctioned them . Innoson sued customs and won, the court ordered gtb (customs bank ) to pay Innoson 6b but gtb refused. Gtb appealed even to supreme Court but failed. No 2. Gtb gave Innoson loans at 27% interest but gtb over deducted their interest by over 750m from Innoson account. Innoson audited and discovered 750m gtb stole from him. Gtb disputed. Then the two audited together and it was about 750m. Innoson said gtb will pay back the 750 for the years gtb held the money at 27% gtb gave him the principal Innoson had paid back but gtb said they will pay 5%Innoson sued gtb and won. gtb appealed to the supreme Court and failed. The 32b is the accumulated interests of customs money gtb refused to pay Innoson and the interests on money stolen from Innoson over the years gtb held the money. The supreme Court ordered gtb to pay Innoson 32b last year or Innoson take over gtb properties to recover his 32b. |

Venerealisles: So this year my family decided we were gonna come back to naija early for the Xmas celebrations, we also wanted to do Thanksgiving in Nigeria hence the early arrival.
Well, we were back home in Lag, so I decided to go hang out with some of my long time friends, and what I saw shocked me ooh. They were really big now, felt like they were way older than me. To make matters worst, I senior them pretty damn well, but my tiny physique just makes them think otherwise.
The last straw that broke the camel back was when I went over to my cousin's place, only for my Aunt to start saying stuffs like "I look like a toothpick" she even went as far as saying I should start eating enough beans!! Chaii I have suffered .
I will be 25 by December, but yet most people I come across still think I am a teenager, Little did they know that the so called teenager is the owner of a business in Lagos and also a degree holder.
Inspite of my achievements, I feel what they are saying is beginning to get to me, i can't change the way I look, if I could, I'd probably add more height to my physique . Try to look more natural. When you use too much cosmetics (creams),it makes you look dry.Your dp picture looks so fake and artificial. Expensive creams because you can afford them kill ladies beauty and junk food. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, drop those useless Expensive creams and face care harmful chemicals and watch out how your skin will glow, people will like you. |

NoToPile: So you are saying they killed their father?
How did you know how much they are giving to wife and children
Is it culturally wrong to bury someone at the back of his house as long as its the same compound They might not have killed him but they might not have taken care of him well. He might have had a good heart to help his people which a greedy wife and her children would kick against. The kindred would always know because family bond is very strong in igboland. The man might have told his sisters and brothers what he was going through in the hands of wife and children. It's a taboo to bury the father or mother at the back yard unless in extreme situation where there's jo space in front which i have never seen in my 60yrs of existence. Her story didn't add up. |

zachanalysis: Hope you are not trying to justify this barbaric act. I don't think she is trying to gain anything other bring to our notice how sick some cultural practice are. Greed permeate every fiber of an average igbo man's nature. Over emphasis on monetary success as a yardstick for measuring how much respect and dignity you get is the main reason why they hate one another so much. Anything to earn that respect is considered good even if it brings pain to others. They say Yoruba and Hausa are jealous of them because of their commercial successes across the country. But an average Yoruba and Hausa is more United than the Igbos can ever be. A saying among the Yoruba has it that" Owo ma tan, Eyan Loma kun' . Translated roughly, good relationship is more valuable than wealth. Igos need to learn that money is not everything. The lady didn't mention money or that someone wanted their land, just location of burial. She told half truth. The family kindred take over burial in igboland no matter how rich or influential just like marriage. You can't Bury the man of the house at the back yard. They might not have been coming home to know how things are done and the location of where to bury someone in case of future because igbo don't exhume corpse. The kindred always take the best interest of the family in this kind of situation and its always by consensus. How many times have you heard of burial location issues in igboland? She should tell us the full gist. |
