Nigeria is a tragedy. After over 100yrs of Nigeria Union, things are worse off. The best thing for this country is to identify all the ethnic groups in Nigeria and have all inclusive ethnic conference to decide how to be together or separate via referendum. This is the only organic way to be or not. |
Exmilitant:Could you please tell the house how Igbo denigrated, maligned and sidelined ikwerre for us to know. This is very important to dispel animosities herein . |
Exmilitant:Most Igbo used to regard ikwerre as Igbo given that ikwerre have 95% similarities with Igbo in culture, names, language, calendar, physique etc, but now,the new generation of Igbo have found out that ikwerre is insignificant in over all Igbo affairs and decided to let you be. Then some ikwerre claim they are Igbo publicly and belong to ohanaeze, the highest and biggest Igbo group. Then, all your neighboring tribes said ikwerre are Igbo like the ijaw, ogoni etc. The mainstream Igbo have let you be, if when Biafra is granted referendum, ikwerre can vote to be with Nigeria while Igbo become Biafra Republic. It's a win win situation. |
It's really unbelievable given the type of insults they hauled on Igbo for championing biafra however, i am thrilled that Yoruba are agitating for Oduduwa Republic. |
Vond:Oduduwa and Biafra are agitating for referendum that will lead them to having their countries. Some elements who have access to social media from the ss always criticised Igbo for championing Biafra course. Prominent visible agitator is Asari Dokubo from ijaw and incidentally he campaigns for Biafra too.I want ask ikwerre, isoko, urhobo, ishekiri, ogoni, efik, ibibio ,anang, bini, esan etc, what is your on the agitations going on in Nigeria? Some say the want niger delta, who are the people agitating for your dream country? If Igbo succeeds in getting referendum for Biafra and you vote against Biafra, then Igboland in 13 states will inherit Biafra Republic. What will be your lot? Will join Nigeria? or you begin then to agitate? The way Yoruba is going now, I believe they have Oduduwa Republic in no distance time. I advise the tribes in the Eastern Nigeria to join Igbo in getting Biafra then split into isoko, ijaw ,ikwerre, ishekiri, ogoni, efik, ibibio , anang Republics as some of you said they will not form a confederation with Igbo in Biafra where each tribe will be self governing and control the resources in each tribe land.As for me as an ibibio man, I will vote to be in Biafra with Igbo. This is the time for you guys to take a decision in order not to be caught napping,Nigeria had not worked, is not working and will never work. Thank you. |
Good! Let's respect Allah's will. |
Hassanmaye:If he accepts Islam, he will definitely become a terrorist. |
Zooposki:Are Igbo two?Igbo is the dominant tribe in your so called South South. |
Exmilitant:Ikwerre are willingly selling their lands to Igbo. I was a witness to the one sold last month. The anambra man is now building a mall there and the Ikwerre family shared the 45m.Tomorrow you will say Igbo are grabbing your land. |
NigerDeltaRep:You might not be from the area in question. The Eastern tribes are not up 15 tribes.igbo, izon, urhobo, ishekiri, isoko, ogoni, efik, ibibio, anang etc. Each will have its Parliament, premier, govern and control their resources. That is the Swiss model. How can one dominate another in this kind of set up? |
technicallyrich:My understanding of the new Biafra is that every tribe will have its Parliament, premier and control and manage their resources. I don't know why it's difficult for people to understand. You keep on talking of Igbo domination, in which ways are Igbo dominating presently? United you stand divided you fall. Without the cooperation of other ethnic groups in Eastern Nigeria, it will take Igbo a while to get independence but without Igbo, other easter ethnic groups will never in a million years achieve independence. The exploited know this and that's why they keep on sowing seed of discord. |
Sufferingboy:Why not go for Ika Republic or be with Nigeria. |
Igbo run egalitarian society, live and let live. Everyone believes he can be better and makes efforts to be better. When you ask them why they hate Igbo, They will start to bable. |
That's a good gesture but their hold on the essential commodity (cement) is making low income earners not ever dream of having shelter over their heads, eg police, teachers, army, drivers, nurses, cleaners, conductors, mechanics etc. |
SuperBold:When it came to coup, Chukwuma Nzeogwu who was also from South South became Igbo man but offokaja might be from South South not igbo. |
Maxymilliano:Continue to take it as an entertainment thing because you are in the zoo. A large population of over 70m are agitating for referendum because the country has not worked in the past 60yrs and things are getting worse. That was how they trivialised Yusuf Muhammad killing as an entertainment thing, today the north is in war with millions of refugees and over 600 schools shut down. |
That's a welcome news. There will be no elections in Biafra land until referendum is is conducted. |
adadike:Biafra is a name chosen by the peoples that made up of former Biafra Republic. They are ijaw, Igbo, efik, ibibio, anang,Ogoni etc |
Shorts would made more sense. People follow fashion trends without taking their physique into consideration. |
An average Igbo hates oppression, fearless and will always defend his rights. The Only tribe that has the guts to push for seccesion in the zoo while others stand akimbo looking confused. |
It's like what all youths aspires to be in SW these days is nurtw members for easy money (owoda)which they don't know they are entrenching themselves into poverty. I was surprised to see my carpinter in January this year adorning nurtw uniform and pursuing commercial vehicles up and down in the street. |
What do you expect from your one Nigeria? Death, hunger, terrorism, poverty etc await anyone that believes and supports one Nigeria. |
So all was happening and still happening in the middle belt we read in the news has finally reached south west. Since the coming of buhari regime, the south west media have played down all the atrocities taking place in Nigeria. Some are not reported while others are mispresented to the public. With the kind war waged against Jonathan and his policies one wonders why the "progressives" are not bothered about the killings, kidnappings, rapings, fuel hikes after hikes, police brutality etc. Today, yoruba are in idp camps like others, now whom will they run to. Injustice done to one is Injustice done to all.Nigeria is not working and it will never work especially now the foreigners ruling Nigeria have opened the borders for terrorists from the magreb and sahel to overwhelm the country have achieved their long-term objectives. Anyone that believes in one Nigeria will end miserably by maladministration, poverty, insecurity, diseases, police and army brutality and terrorists. |
The banks in onitsha alone are more than the banks in the whole kano state and generates money much more than all the banks in kano of 20m people while onitsha is about 1.5m . |
Nigeria has just birthed some guerilla warfare groups, injustices breed violence, groups are now emboldened by the nonchalant attitude of the federal government towards fulani terrorists menace. |
ALISMILE:May be Amaechi or Jonathan, is ss apc too? |
Monogamy:Fulani INEC. |
Afriifa:Who do we believe? Amaechi Chibuike an ikwerre man said he is Igbo too.The choice is theirs to make but the oldest ijaw nationalist pa Edwin Clark has been saying for over 40yrs that the ikwerre are Igbo.Mind you ikwerre is jus 4 local governments where as Igbo local governments in igboland are over 120, so lkwerre is insignificant in Igbo affairs. |
melvinjames:Nine local governments in delta state are igbo while bayelsa as a state has 8 local governments. Rivers state is 70% Igbo, you get the logic? |
christistruth01:What is this obsession with sea for God's same? Rwanda has no sea and oil but they are 100times better than Nigeria with 6 sea ports and large deposits of oil and gas. |
