Family / Re: How Often Do You Talk To Your Parents? by Allenkee: 9:36pm On Mar 20, 2013
El Presido: At least once a week. when I call, I ask to speak with everyone around, including grandma. The issue is that when I call mum and speak with dad and siblings, each of them (dad, siblings) still want me to call them say, d next day.

When I call dad and speak with d family, mum and others want me to call their own lines later. It's really not funny to me. I can't do without calling my mum due to closeness but I can't call everyone when I can use one call to speak to everyone. My mum demands that I call everyday or at worst, 2 days but I'm not d call type at all. I don't care if my phone doesn't ring in a year provided its connected to the internet. I prefer texts but they are not in to texts.

Meanwhile, I've lost about 3 girls cos I "don't care to call" all the time. They feel I don't have time for them. Some see it as overconfidence, which is not d case. I'm just not that chatty.

The bold characters above is my character too.

This thread really has a lot to do with me. My dad was a very strict disciplinarian, we were brought up in a way that whenever daddy is at home, every child will automatically become dumb! sad
Mummy was our mouthpiece, meaning we make our pains known to daddy through mummy he was very autocratic. sad
The character of not being able to approach him freely develop in me to the extent that I do find it difficult to call home whenever I'm away. I can stay away for 3 months without calling, now everyone complains bitterly that I don't call.

@ OP, thanks for opening this thread. I really don't know why I'm having the feeling that I'll not enjoy schooling in Uniuyo sad.
Though I'm from Akwa-Ibom but I was born and brought up in Lagos, Akwa-Ibom is a state I have not visited for about 15 years and I don't even know Uniuyo. I chose the School due to parental pressure and I'm not really OK with that.
I just need someone to convince me that this choice is a good one, the course I want to study there is Accounting.
You being a student of the School can you please tell us how serious the school is, talking of sound education and discipline?
Please can you also upload pictures of some structures and facilities? Thanks.
