Inter Miami are unbeaten across all competitions since Messi's arrival, winning seven matches in Leagues Cup play, with two of those on penalties, including the final on August 19 against Nashville SC.

[b]The victory marked Inter's first trophy, and they have a chance for more soon. They are in the U.S. Open Cup semifinals and will be considered favorites after this impressive Leagues Cup performance.

Big spending Al Nassr have dug themselves an early hole to start their Saudi Pro League season after a stunning 2-0 home loss to Al Taawoun on Friday with stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Anderson Talisca, and Marcelo Brozovic all held scoreless.

A goal by Cameroonian forward Leandre Tawamba in the 20th minute set the visitors on their way, and Al Taawoun's five-man backline frustrated Ronaldo and Al Nassr all night, with substitute Ahmed Bahusayn sealing the result deep in stoppage time.

Al Nassr's 2-1 loss on the opening weekend to Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq was attributed to the fact that many of their star players were given a rest after winning the Arab Club Champions Cup. But they were all back on the field and still came up short against an Al Taawoun side that executed a perfect game plan of defending in numbers and counter-attacking through speedy Brazilian winger Mateus.

Al Nassr struggled to find a flow in their attack, outshooting Al Taawoun 24-8, but only getting five shots on target compared to the visitors' six. Anderson Talisca missed on a couple of headers, Sadio Mane had a goal disallowed, Cristiano Ronaldo slammed a ball against the post from an offside position, and Marcelo Brozovic fired right at the 'keeper on a frustrating night for the home team.

Al Nassr came up five points short in their quest for the Saudi title in 2022/23 and now could find themselves six points behind the leaders by the time Matchday 2 is complete.

For me, I'd have to say it's men... I've heard a lot of guys talking about marriage, but I'd hardly hear ladies talking about it.

And also keep in mind the following.
1. We are Africans and in most tribes, the child will not be considered yours until you get married to the mother.
2. Men usually get shamed for still living with their parents while already in their 30s or 40s, even if they're working well, but women don't necessarily get shamed even if they have a child or children.
3. There's a saying that behind every man, there's a woman... And that's because every man needs that feminine touch in his life, that also includes his house, food, and clothing, they all need that feminine touch..

In Nigeria, na women crave pass, infact most of em, marriage na their highest achievement in life, they dream about their wedding day right from their mom's womb.
There's a church's prayer program for single and searching ladies called "Shiloh" in Nigeria.

Men never go to shilloh cos we are the prize.

There are thousands if not millions of eligible single women scattered across the country now, they still live with their parents, cos if any lady see a reasonable man who's ready to settle down, e go be like say she win lottery. I do not expect em to admit online, this is not real life.

Someday in the nearest future government would declare emergency on this matter.

MY THOUGHTS:

Firstly, I hope Twitter proceed with their lawsuit as someone needs to stand-up to Meta's vulture-like approach to business: Acquiring competitors or destroying them by copying their product.

But at the same time, I do NOT think Meta is a threat to Twitter.

Twitter and Meta are FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT

It's not about functionality, it's about each platform's stance on FREE SPEECH.

Both platforms can co-exist, they are NOT mutually exclusive.

The same way Twitter is shifting to 'X', the 'everything app', Meta is expanding so they compete with Twitter. I expect both ecosystems to exist a decade from now, with similar apps, but VERY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES.

This difference makes it impossible for each to copy the other. Twitter will always be the Free Speech Town Hall and no other platform can take away that crown. Certainly not Meta.
