BusinessRe: What Type Of Business, Can Someone Do With N2m by Allstrasse: 10:22am On Sep 11, 2019
bankole200:
Please, i need suggestions on what type of business, somebody can venture into with N2m.
Bros, I would advise that if you are new in the business terrain, please tread carefully.

Your best bet as a beginner in this economy is to invest in FMCG trading.

This has always been my advice to everyone interested in venturing into business;

1. Step One; Pick up your 2 Million and divide it into 4 places. Save 75% (1.5 Mill) in some realistic and traditional investment platform.

2. Step Two; Identify a new FMCG product and conduct a viability survey in your neighbourhood. this implies that you buy a few of the products
and try distributing it in your neighbourhood. Believe me honestly, if you have the strength to persevere and be consistent and
of course if the product is good and in hot demand, I assure you that you will smile to the banks.

3. Step Three; Expand cautiously. This involves expanding the scope of your business with another tranche of investment capital.

Good luck, if you need a detailed plan and a list of products you can invest in then you may send me a a dm or email.
Please note however that my exchange with you will be limited to only email correspondence and my advice is completely free.

I read all d comments so far,its unfortunate not a single reasonable idea. all I see are local scammers who just want to collect op money and run.be careful
It beats me that you expect that someone will come up here and publish a worthwhile idea for the consumption of the general public.

If you read carefully through the posts, you will be able to discern those among the posters who may have something viable and worthwhile.

It is the hallmark of true and experienced investors to possess the ability to discern clues and hints from what may appear ordinary to the regular Nairander. It is this attribute that sets him apart. A true businessman cannot present his vulnerability while soliciting ideas and will only invest his/her hard earned funds in a really objectively appraised model...and will also be willing to take full responsibility for the outcomes.

Scams are very avoidable.

Asides the fact that this story is purely fiction, whenever there is a smell in a place, the odour is usually strongest at the source. So all they needed to do was trace the source where the smell was strongest. Dogs could have done the trick. The woman didn't have any money of her own yet she was able to buy a house worth thousands.

Hogwash
Absolute trash.

Who goes through an absolute makeover of an old home with a new wife without discarding the old furnishings, curtains inclusive.

No woman inherits a husband, home together with the interiors. A most definite reminder of her predecessor.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: In Desperate Need Of A Job by Allstrasse: 1:02pm On Jul 29, 2019
Sweetdream13:
Good morning all.
it is a great pleasure to come across this thread, this present time. I'm Oladipupo Ibrahim opeyemi by name. Studied Animal Science/nutrition from FUNAAB. I'm through with my NYSC this year. It is a common notion but now becoming a norm that a Average Nigerian graduate went through hell to get job/sustainance after service. Alot of this stories lead few among us (undergraduate) back then, discouraged, dropped out of school to pursue other dream. They bacame the flagbearer and chanter of the common saying "school is a scam". Many among them have make it though.
less I forget share here, I grad with not too bad grade of second upper(4.3/5.0), I started my job-hunting since my graduation before service, nothing juicy is coming forth. Right now as I write, the situation have gone worse, with some horrible job offer from non-standard, upcoming private school I approach as last resort to present predicament. many of which are not ready to pay above #20,000. All I want from Nairalander is to help directly, or connect me with proffessionals that could help me with job.
I'm hardworking, trustworthy and intelligent, I will never fail anyone that extend such hand of fellowship, to pull me out of this depression.
I pray Almighty Lord ease our affairs all, Amen. my contact is 09037170746 or oladipupoibrahimoia@gmail.com.
I suggest that you take this offer (the bolded) for now and continue the search.

I think you should even consider yourself lucky judging from your post above.

It is always better to have some income that you can use for the basics.

Remember that you need data to come to Nairaland and to send your applications.

You will also need to have your transport fare handy to attend interviews ......if and when invited.

Use the offer today as a springboard to something better in the future.

CareerRe: My Heart Felt Message To GRADUATES Teaching In Private Primary/secondary Schoo by Allstrasse: 5:00pm On Jul 28, 2019
Employment in a Private School is just like any other employment by any other profit driven private organisation.

It is a necessary bridge to greater things in the future.

While I do concede that many private School owners can be demons, i would also like to let you know that the work ethic of the Nigerian graduate is also below par.

The private school owner experiences a day to day struggle until he attains some socio-economic balance.
Until then, he really can only give out what he can...including the rather obnoxious but logical resort to paying salaries during the school term.

Cut them some slack.

They may not be perfect but they have taken a number of people off the street.

At some point they will be forced by competition to treat their staff well.

Life is indeed perfect.
CareerRe: Frustrated Employee Blasts His Employer For Always Messing With His “small” Sala by Allstrasse: 7:04pm On Jul 27, 2019
Doktajay5:
God will bless you for this truth u have declared without fear or favour...

Don't mind these slaves here that poverty have denied even their sense of acknowledgement of their own rights... Is frustrating having people like these in a such a frustrating situation to make an opinion.

Granted the present economy of Nigeria is hard on the private sector... But a worker duly employed, who has not been found wanting in the discharge of her duty, if for any reason a pay cut will come, deserves to know on time, with a justifiable reason. And such cut should not come on a regular basis... Haba!...

This person is contributing to the growth of ur business for crying out loud and deserves to be treated as human...
He has family and he is educated... If u own and run a company, did u also train her??

Please let's learn to condemn bad things when we see it.

So cos she doesn't have a company, her salary should be slashed till she start working free. Nonsense... I wonder what has happened to us Nigerians

No matter how u look at it, we all can not own a company or own a business. Name where it is the case in any part of the world.. #smh

I keep saying this, Nigerian situation have created a mentalityiin people such that no body is oriented again.. Nigeria has impacted a condition like HIV stage 4, And it has eaten deep into us that black is no more black here, we try to justify at the slighest provocation why it should be called white.... That's sad.... Please!!!
Please revisit the bolded.

I do not support devilish treatment of employees, neither do I encourage recalcitrant behaviour. I have been on both sides of the spectrum and I can assure you that it swings both ways.

On the one hand no company treats a super performing staff with ignominy at least in the Private Sector.
In the majority of cases (most definitely not all cases) the staff who complain about bad treatment from management are underperforming dead wood in the system and perhaps considered a drain on the system but yet cannot be disengaged for reasons not bordering on objectivity.

I am yet to see a focussed staff who overdelivers who will be treated bestially. Certain elements in management may hate his guts but the performance driven lad/lass will be an untouchable.

This is just the truth. Only a few companies have their profits increasing significantly year on year. Many others have flat profits. It's not easy remaining in business.
You forgot to add that some are operating in a near comatose state with heavy debt burdens and very demanding circumstances.

It is only those who have never run a business that will complain about any organization that manages to pay her staff in this economy.

For your information, I know of a very visibly attractive IT company that takes an overdraft monthly on the 2nd day of each month just to effect their payroll. This has been ongoing since 2016. They barely break even but the promoters are working very hard to reposition things without showing any of the staff the door.

Again, try opening a provisions kiosk like the neighbourhood Aboki and pay salaries from the proceeds made for at least one year befre coming to complain about bad, wicked, irresponsible and insensitive employers.

This is just my objective point of view.

good afternoon. Am in Ekiti but willing to relocate. Can I apply
Why not!

You can try.

Afterall, it really doesn't take much to apply.

The worst that can happen is that you are turned down.

The relocation from Ekiti to Lagos should only be considered after an offer has been made and an agreement reached.

Best wishes
