jpride:Sir you cannot take the whole Delta State. Too large geographically. You have to choose either, Asaba axis which comprises Asaba urban and surrounding towns like Ogwashiku et.al. or Warri which covers Warri, Sapele, Ughelli et.al or you settle for the Agbor axis. |
VIPICO:Hello, I will reply accordingly. |
1. This is not a Multi-level marketing business; you deal with the company directly. Absolutely no agents or brokers or uplines. 2. A real product will be sold. No conscripting or recruitment is required. 3. Prior experience in marketing or distribution product is not necessary. 4. Ownership of a large warehouse is not a necessary requirement for the starting Investor. 5. Ownership of Distribution Vehicle is not a necessity. Further details will be provided via whatsapp. Interested persons and businesses may drop their whatsapp numbers or email addresses here. Kindly indicate your location on your post. Finally, please note that only those from a locations where do not have a presence will be contacted. |
A maximum of 3 Distributors will be approved for one state. There will be a memorandum of Understanding to reflect the terms and conditions regarding the operation of the territory to assure of exclusivity and thus profitability for the investor. A territorial development plan will be sent to each successful applicant. This will also serve as the business plan/guide. Please note that this will only be a broad outline showcasing how the business can be developed but it will allow some room for modifications that will accommodate the local peculiarities of each region. The minimum investment outlay is Two Million Naira (N2, 000,000.00) only. This is for the exclusive players. Non-exclusive players can start with less than this amount. Our projections guarantee a 10% return on investment initially and 20% after a break in period not exceeding 2 months. In major towns, 30% may be attainable when certain variables like the population size and the school session are considered. This expansion will be in phases. Only five states can be accommodated in the month of June 2017 while 10 more will be added in July. Please note the following carefully; |
The company is involved in the production of a very delicious, nutritious, hygienically processed, hermetically packed and appropriately priced fast moving consumer product. We are currently selling in very high volumes in Lagos and a few other states of the federation. Having recently expanded our production capacity, we seek to also expand our reach to other states in the country. The product is packed with the broader spectrum of the population in mind and the recommended retail price is 50.00. The profit margin is projected to be a minimum of 12 per cent per cycle. Ultimately we expect the serious players to run two cycles every thirty days thus increasing their earning to 24 per cent on the same capital. |

tj4luck:Your best bet is to look for something to sell from a reputable company. Itbdoesnt have to be a big multinational, a medium sized company will do. Just ensure that the company has a good track record, good products and acceptability and you are good to go. Daily need goods and households are not a bad idea. Everyday cosmetics and underwear too notbbad. But the king of them all is food and snacks for children. You dont need a shop. Start out with your living quarters as storage. Register with a known company, buy enough products and then supply in your neighbourhood cutting the local traders, Mallams and cornershops from the market. This is a foolproof model and had almost zero risk. But choose the company very well. A list of those companie us available. I think I saw it somewhere on Nairaland. It includes weavon, snacks and beverages companies. You could try it dig it up. Whatever you do start small and be guided by your hunches. |
hardeycute:So many things abound. I wouldnt advise you on something that is superfluous but I would say keep it simple. Depending on your neighbourhood I would suggest you look for a 50.00 fmdg product. Again, your choice is key. What you need to do is to visit the regular markets and ind out what moves. I was on a visit to a client today and was watching someone offload some products and people were already paying for it. My curiosity got the better of me and I asked what it was. I was told it is potato chips. You can then imagine. Why not create a depot for this kind of products. Negotiate with the producer and create a hub for this kind of products right there in your neighbourhood. This is just one of the several possibilities. |
Look for a reasonably sized and stable company and register as a distributor and sell their goos in a particular neighbourhood under exclusive territorial terms. He cheaper the product the faster it moves, the faster your turnover. Though your profit is marginal on each unit you are immeasureably compensated by the very high turnover. |
hardeycute:Look for a product that sells for 50.00 and become a sub-distributor in the Otta neighborhood. Products abound. Just check it out. You dont even need 100k. 50k will do for starters. |
Wonderful thoughts. My two pence is that for anyone who is new to business and carful about his money, he shouldnt invest everything but should tread carefully. Your best betbis starting a trade with half that money. Your better option in the trade segment is something that is appropriately priced, in good demand standing and something people have to buy from you because you are one of the very few people selling it. 50.00 products are the bomb. Do your research and due diligence thoroughly. |
Prosperousman:Very sound reasoning. Agriculture is good but you need a lot of guidance afrom someone who knows what he is doing. Manufacturing is king though. And I am talking about light duty manufacturing. F.M.C.G products processing and production like foods and household. Bread, biscuit, noodles, cookies, beefroll, doughnuts, pasyries on the one hand. Toiletries like soaps, bleach, cosmetics etc on the other hand. Now your better bet with this kind of money is not to set up immediately but to inject some cash into an existing small business that has capacity for expansion but has minimal access to long term funding. Under this arrangement, you could be a partner and work there while your money is there. Most important feature here is that you can learn the business and set up yours after or better still expand your capital investment volume wise and extend the duration of the investme t tenure time. Remember that the security of the investment must be provided for in an M.O.U well drafted and understood and signed by both partieas. |
Impressive! It appears so many people are interested in making a daily income while waiting for their preferred job. Please note that this offer is for people who just need a little inflow daily. Ten thousand Naira capital can only yield so much daily. It is imperative that we know this from the very beginning. Secondly, there will only be opportunity for two people per area in order to maximise profitability. So the first two people indicating interest in the whatsapp group for a particular area will disqualify subsequent interests for that area. |
Why not make a little money on a daily basis while waiting for your dream job to materialize? I am creating a whatsapp group for people who can hone their sales skills by getting involved in a mentorship programme that will guide them into some financial independence while the search for a job continues. Only residents of Lagos State will be allowed for now. I have already discussed and gotten the committment of veteran Salesman who wil anchor and guide the group for 3 months His bill is mine and no one is expected to pay him. He has also agreed to meet with you physically once a month. Please drop your numbers here if you are interested. |
Nwanieke:I don't understand why his drilling you will necessitate your telling him to calm down. I think that may be considered rude by the majority of Nigerian men/women. I hope they call you back. And please if they do try to calm down and behave yourself. You probably need the job more than they need you. All the best. |
I verified this vacancy and then asked my neighbours son to apply. He did and was called for an interview after a preliminary phone interview. He was made an offer as stated above, 4 months internship/sales training with a monthly allowance of 15,000 but with attractive commissions and bonuses. I considered it fair enough but I just have issues with the guarantee format. They are asking for an open cheque preferably from a staffbof a reputabke bank or the depositof original NYSC discharge certificate before commencement. This is supposedly to indemnify themselves from losses that could arise from theft or diversion. A bit harsh I may say. |

There are many of such monies lodged in many homes and even in cars that are being parked in various locations across this country. Some of these monies may be stashed in the most unlikely places like the churches, mosques and other religious centres and believe me and they can be there for as long as you can imagine. My thoughts are that it is a great crime for one to steal from our commonwealth. The greater crime however is to steal this cash and stash it away. Money thus stashed offers no use and to the thief and absolutely no use to the society. Maybe it gives the former some false sense of security. But that is as far as it goes; a false sense of security. Just imagine if just about half of these monies were invested in viable small and medium scale businesses across the length and breadth of this country. The results will be manifold and of macroeconomic proportions. May I quickly state here that I cannot for sure say that the all the monies found are stolen. Some of these monies could have been legitimately earned. The media has however been successful in making us believe that all monies found are stolen and that is probably hinged on the fact that these monies are found in cash. I must attest that in my experience in business consulting I have come across several people in various businesses who hold down a lot of cash in varied currencies for one reason or another. |
I must confess my thoughts have rather been indifferent as it concerns the large amounts of cash that have been found in various houses both residential, non-residential and even unoccupied. While most respondents are dwelling on the why behind such embezzlement by people we entrust with public office, my thoughts have been on a slightly different trajectory. I do not have the energy to pursue the why behind the inexplicable quantum of public funds embezzlement primarily because of the fact that while you are even trying to understand the reasons behind such large scale looting a larger one emerges. So I just give up on trying rationalizing the why but these days I am rather more focused on why these monies cannot be directed at achieving both micro and macro-economic benefits in our society. |
This is a serious endeavour and I hope that as we course along we can attract the right kind of posters with the requisite experience to pull us through. More emphasis will be placed on non participatory investments. In other words those of us who have regular jobs or other businesses will have a better advantage here as they will be exposed to where our money can work for us woth minimal risk and yet with reasonable returns. I must state clearly at he begining that we may not pay attention to high risk investments but would rather work with moderate but consistent yielding investments. Our main thrust on this thread is to examine possibilities that exist for those of us who have investible funds which some people are wont to call spare/extra cash. This concept (spare cash) is a misnomer. There is absolutely nothing like spare cash. All we have is investible funds. |
This thread is created for us to explore other avenues of drawing profits from non-traditional earning routes. We will analyse verifiable approaches and show the pros and cons of all options. Please I do not wish to deal with online businesses here as my familiarity with this knowledge field is rather sketchy and I do not wish to lead people into areas that have not been proven by me and other posters. |
Nairaland business section is filled with samples and even testimonies of what a young man like you could do with that amount of money. Many threads exist that can help you discover your potential and also steer you in the direction of that business that best fits your abilities, personality and circumstances. I would like to however recommend that in view of the current economy and also considering your apparent inexperience as far as business goes your best bet would be something that is not so fixated that is flexible enough for you to divest with as little skirmishes as possible. The direction I would advise is in trade with more emphasis on distributorship. There are two threads you may wish to peruse on Nairaland business. Both are very practical and realistic. The one is the thread on egg distribution by Blackkie and the other is the FMCG thread by Karin001. While Blacckie advocates a smart neighbourhood distribution for eggs drawing directly from farms, Karin001 on the other hand advocates the registration of your interest as a distributor with a medium sized FMCG company and insisting on territorial exclusivity for a particular or designated sales area/zone. Now these models are tested and trusted as can be read from the many posters following the thread but they are definitely not foolproof. I am sure they will even have whatsapp groups for some of the businesses as is mostly the case in contemporary interaction. The most unique feature of these options is the fact that you can still trace your money (capital) because at every point in time it is either in stock or remittances. I am also not very comfortable with or even sure that the profit margin you seek(20%) is attainable from the very first month if you are dealing as a trader/Distributor. A monthly margin of 5-10% on commencement with a gradual growth to the desired margin and even more is more certain and realistic. Then again, I am not saying it is utterly impossible but I just prefer to align along the lines of caution. Finally, I will post a counter position to those who suggest that you don’t talk to people. It is essential that you speak to people who have some experience in the business area you are interested in. Very true that there will be many fraudsters prowling along trying to do others in but one very important consideration for you is that the best advice will come amongst the fraudulent ones so it is thus your discernment that you will employ in choosing that which is most suitable for you. Do enjoy your search. Please note that I just copied and pasted this from another thread where I gave the same advice. I hope it is a useful contribution. Goodluck! |
