doctokwus:I beg to differ. If someone in your family has a sudden need for an amount that you can afford, it will be raised faster than you can imagine. Experienced business people will understand this. Liquidating a business of even 1 Billion Naira or raising money with that investment as security comes easy to them. Remember also that at a particular level you can raise a particular amount with just phone calls. It applies to all levels, its just the amounts that matter. |
doctokwus:I understand your doubts absolutely. The amount appears rather steep. I am aware that this amount could have been spent over a long period of time managing whatever ailment the old man had. As regards the family 'affording' the amount I think you underestimate the deceased. Ekwueme made 'old' money if you know what I mean. He was obviously a man inclined to modesty but this must never be interpreted as poverty or any semblance of it. Alex Ekwueme was a man of indescribable means but approached life and living modestly. He made a quantum of money in the seventies and being the prudent person as was evident in his lifestyle he must have made very serious investments that will yield that kind of money even on a quarterly basis. Unfortunately, contemporary society judges men by their public show of worth. As a guiding principle, I am prefer to observe a man in the things he does unconsciously rather than the ones done for public benefit. |
meflow:Opening available in all states. Candidates will be shortlisted from all states of the federation. |
Still open! |
timagentms:The companies products are multifarious by nature. Several brands are promoted and marketed by the group. I expect that based on your location the identified product that is projected to be a major winner in that axis will be pushed to you. It suffices to note that it is a fast moving consumer products company. Just think of a smaller version of Far East Mercantile Limited and boom you have it. In Warri where you indicated your locational preference, you could be sent anything from diapers to energy drinks. Just ensure that whatever is given to you will move as fast as possible using an efficient distribution model while also providing you with an adequate reward for your investment of time and effort. An enviable performance in the job attracts both Salary and commissions. |
EZENDDIGBO:If you are willing to get a sales job, I could recommend you to a colleague working for a HR company. He will APPRAISE your suitability for a sales career and position you for a selection process in whatever capacity and company available at this time. Salary will be attractive and mouthwatering incentives (commissions and bonuses). Its a multinational HR recruitment firm specialized in recruiting, training and developing sales professionals. They hire budding and experienced sales personnel for various companies all over the country. Please note very well that this is not a promise that you will be immediately recruited. You will only be given a privileged opportunity to participate in an objective selection process. Put up your email address so I can identify your CV and we take it up from there. |
iamclime:Thanks very much for this suggestion. You must however note that we added 'Nationwide' to the Topic. Wherever there exists a potential market, we will consider deploying a staff there. Candidates may apply from every nook and cranny. An objective consideration will be accorded each individual application. |
Tats:You are capable of giving this issue a more serious and objective consideration. The bank should hire a different set of people to carry out ATM Cash management. Think now bros, think! |
gabbasin:Best response ever. |
Counselor123:Beautiful and objective presentation. Need I add more? |
Africanpride123:Sadly, your post shows a total lack of depth. marketing is all about setting and meeting targets. Your results will determine your positioning and nothing else. Not third class and not your appearance. The name of the game in banking (at least in Nigeria) is 'deposits' which in turn determines the size their portfolio. If you are employed as a bank marketer you can either bring results or bring excuses and run the risk of being described as a laggard which would indeed be considerate of superior officer. Just so you know, there are many pretty girls in bank marketing problems who are very willing and yet cannot close deals that will catalyze their promotion. Finally, intelligence is just potential. The real deal is in your ability to transform your 'intelligence' into something tangible and worthwhile. Imbecility then becomes your portion when this is not attained and you are then subject to the whims of your line manager. I would also like to add that no organisation treats a 'performer' shabbily for he is like a candle set on the mount......... . |

Interesting offer. Are there specific working times or doe each candidate choose what is convenient for him? |
Another cycle of investment opportunity opens again. Same business model, same terms and conditions. |
paroh137:Why not add your location. This is a very important consideration. Secondly, aee you looking at a long, middle or short term investment? |
Fourwinds:Sir, your position in is is rather too one sided. Have you had something really precious stolen from you by a real trusted person before especially at the most inopportune time? Have you heard of struggling companies with several loans hanging ontheir necks suddenly lose a lot of money through a carefully orchestrated plan by the staff who have cash handling responsibilities? I am sure you haven't. Employment is a contract and it has terms but the hue and cries of the society is always in support of the employee and not the employer. I have seen so much in the course of my career. Human beigs are generally weak especially as it regards ethics and honesty and there are no systems in place yet (at least in this part of the world) to check these excesses. Let the emploer who has experienced these stuff tell you their experiences and you sell be wowed. Finally, try to always imagine the pain of the other person before throwing out diatribes. It is a serious indication of maturity. |
Delightiphie:I have actually been n a panel wherr the succssful candidates were asked to present either their original certificates or the original C of O of a property worth at least 5 Million with a letter of consent from the owner. And this was carried out by a first rate pharmaceutical company. The explanation and understanding here was that tge recruited sale persons wou be wprking in the field and some of them in really remote places with brand new cars worth over 5 Million naira and stock in excess of 10 Million Naira at each point in time. Its easy for somepeople to sit down and criticize some of these "inhuman" policies of companies but if you had even the slightest idea of the scope of fraud and theft by sales personnel in different companies you would have a rethink. Fortunately, he candidate is always left with an alterative which is to quitte job. As regards the issue of the compan not wanting to release the document that is more of an issue of personal friction between the candidate and his superior officer and not the norm. If you are sure that you have nothing untoward up your sleeve then what you do is protect our certificate by ensuring that it is deposited in an institution that is independent of the company and ensue that you are a co-signatory to the release documentation. Absolutely nothing to fear for the clean minded honest staff. |
Prevhoo:There is too much do here about nothing. Bros, there will be an agreement that states the terms for the retention of the certificate and you will be given a receipt for the document. If you meet all the terms your certificate will be released to you on the ladt day of you working there. There is no cause for alarm. I have witnesed this happening in many instances. And for those of you in the business of hiring sales personnel NEVER HIRE WITHOUT SECURITY. Guarantors no longer suffice. Sometimes the police ll even be on the side of the culprit. It is not unususl to hear stuff like " it serves im right, afterall he never pays well". |
[ote author=Laid2001 post=61542652]Just make a colour scan copy of the certificate. Make color print out as well. Make a certified true copy of the Original with a Notary public. That makes it a Notarized copy. Then give them the original. Keep applying for job with the copies you have. When you are requested by your new company to resume with it, then ask this baggas for it. If they are deliberately stalling, present your Notarized copy and tell the new company that you will bring it in when released by the thieves that has it.[/quote]Best response ever apart fom the guttural language. But the essence is wonderful. This is graduate quality thinking. Making a way above, around, through or under an obstacle. This poster gives me hope. Well done sir. You just made the " very mountainous problem" appear very small and unserious. Bravo! |
SURElee:They dont need more than the NYSC. Its just a guarantee that OP will not commit a fraud. Remember that the NYSC cert is lso being considered as collateral for bank loans for graduates by BOI and BOA. |
yemmey10:Very smart response and objective too. It calls to mind a popular adage; Since the hunter has learnt to shoot without missing, the bird has learnt to fly without perching(or something like that). |
