PoliticsRe: Buhari Asks Jonathan To Resign Over Insecurity by Allwell(m): 11:54am On May 22, 2013
When the dust of boko haram settles, i'll like to see all former coup plotters arrested especially those that overthrew a civilian govt in Nigeria.
This guy should be an elder stateman like Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakir and not a spokesman for a faceless terrorist group.
RomanceRe: Pls Help, Am Confused Right Now. by Allwell(m): 7:01am On May 18, 2013
@op to answer your questions, i'd say
1. Yes, you were silly to leave your relationship despite pleas from your guy and friends. I mean you had everything going for you.
Q. 2 and 3 are irrelevant. You aint d one giving him a second chance. He's the one offering it.

Sweety, fate dealt you a good hand in rship, giving you someone you so lovingly described yet u ruined it...not many girls are that lucky you know.
PoliticsRe: ECOWAS To Send 3,000 Troops To Mali by Allwell(m): 1:07am On Nov 30, 2012
shymexx: ... They lost many brave men and women, however, they were gallant in victory... The capture of Freetown still remains one of the greatest military maneuvers in the history of modern warfare - salute to those men and women...
Goodness me! You remember this too? I can never forget the capture of free town from the rebels. It was one of our finest moments! I was really proud to be called a Nigerian that day. We attacked from the sea, air and land to capture freetown's airport. Shame nobody remembers things like this. If it had been the US marines conducting such operations, most Nigerians would have been hailing them as warriors cum saviours. *smh*
PoliticsRe: ECOWAS To Send 3,000 Troops To Mali by Allwell(m): 1:38am On Nov 13, 2012
Whoever said the Nigerian military was incapable of basic manoeuvres? We've been fighting guerrilla warfare since the wars in Congo and more recently Liberia and Sierra Leone and our success rate beats that of the western powers you hold in high esteem.
Our leaders have made the right call sending troops to Mali and the best we can do is support them.
RomanceRe: Am I Cheap?? Have I Slept With Too Many Men? by Allwell(m): 5:51pm On Oct 12, 2012
ArQueBusieR: lol...the Stiffmeister was right after all: "When a girl tells you she's slept with x no. of men, multiply x by 3, and you'll get something close to the real figure."

Check this out:

5 x 3 = 15.

Tada! Rocket science...lol
lol...american pie. It's the rule of 3.

My bad. It's Teesside university.
CareerRe: Future Of The Nigerian Engineer by Allwell(m): 11:25am On Aug 16, 2012
SimonAndal: ^ You're correct, Nigeria's only hope now are private universities. The federally and state-owned ones are absolutely rubbish.
Private universities indeed. Most of these private unis are glorified secondary schools. Forget the name, check the content.
SimonAndal: Do you know some private universities offer exchange programmes with/to universities abroad? Which federal university does/has done that?
FUTO is part of the IAESTE programme. Even IMT, a state poly, has an exchange programme with the University of Teeside.
CareerRe: Work Experience Or Further Study. by Allwell(m): 10:44pm On Aug 13, 2012
It's not as if folks dont know that work experience have great benefits. Rather it's a case of too many certificates chasing few available jobs. Recent graduates are facing a huge dilemma here. Stay at home, continue with the job search and have an unexplainable career gap(in the event of not getting a job too soon), or go for a masters programme and become an over qualified entry level graduate.

FamilyRe: Marrying Someone You Are Not Crazy About.- Should I Marry Him? by Allwell(m): 5:48pm On Aug 11, 2012
bebe4u: My virtual friends, i am posting this because i ant to share the burden i have in my life right now and i seek for honest answer and advice in which ever way. please keep it polite anyone could be in a similar situation and we could all learn from it at the end of the day.

I am 30years of age female working in the oil & gas sector and very comfortable financially. How ever i have been in a platonic relationship with a guy who is currently working in a bank but i am better off financially. He never hid his intention that he loves me and would want to take things to the next level but i have always maintain my stand of us not rushing things while trying to sort out my real feelings for him. He asked me to marry him recently and i accepted. The burden i have in my heart now is 1- I am not in love with him and also not sexually attracted to him. By that i mean im not crazily in love but i like him as a friend. 2- I have concerns about our financial obligation in the sense that i fear he might not provide for me the way a husband should for is wife. i am a traditional person where i believe a man should always provide for his wife no matter how small, im willing to support him but through the three years we have been friends he hasnt provided in the least of money for my salon session. i feel he is just taking advantage of the fact that i can afford it, so i feel differently. He currently lives with his family and younger brother. i talked to him one day and said he should get a house of his own but till date he hasnt and havent made any real effort at that yet he talks about facilitating meeting my parents et al. Question is what are the pros and cons of going ahead to marry this young man or should i just call it off as i have been tempted to several times. BTW he is 35yrs of age, has been working in the bank for 6 yrs as an employee. As we all know the presure young ladies face in the society about being single by 30years. Please respond with your candid advice. i will appreciate while i keep praying as most of you will end up saying to me. Thank you.
If you don't love him, why date him for three years? Why waste the guy's time? I've come to realise that when a woman doesn't love a man, she comes up with flimsy excuses. Your 'salon money' example is another such. You don't know what you've got until it's gone.

I've come to realise that when a woman doesn't really love a man, she comes up with flimsy excuses. @OP is just another classic example. Since when did N2k for hair become a criteria for marriage? You guys have dated for 3 years, isn't that long enough to sort out your feelings? Anyway sha to help you out, dont marry the person you can live with, marry the person you can't live without.

The recent attacks on the media and institutions of learning by the Boko Haram sect prove two things...these terrorists are a bunch of cowards and illiterates.
PoliticsRe: US Military To Help Fight Boko Haram by Allwell(m): 1:28pm On Nov 12, 2011
Fellow countrymen, don't be deceived. You cannot separate the US and sweet crude. They've got Libya now they want Naija, all sources of light crude.
Me: 'em Mr Obama, why don't you go to Venuezela and free the good ppl of Venuezela from Chavez?
Obama: No we dont have much interest there. By the way we don't need heavy crude we need ur 9ja light crude!

Nairaland GeneralRe: What Kind Of Dog Can One Use For Home Security? by Allwell(m): 9:57pm On Aug 25, 2011
Here's my pick of  guard dogs:
1. Pit bulls
2. German shepherds
3. Rottweilers
4. Wolf -dog hybrids
5. Doberman pinscher
6. Alaskan malamutes.

Don't mess with No. 1. It could be fatal. No. 6 can double as a guard and pet dog. It's good with the family.
