Legit1: By the time they/she are done with you, you will have a very vivid, battered emblazoned picture perfect slide show of how it works in your frontal lobe.Best comment on d thread so far.... This got me cracking my ribz for real...! |
Flygeriansteve: @OP. Only you can make that decision yourself. You have to consider if further education at your age is a good or bad investment or if it's even an investment at all. Will a Masters give you an upward push in your career or are you just looking to add more paper to a job-seeking CV? If the latter is the case, you might want to consider business or financial investment instead. A car? You should already have a car by now. Yes a car is a necessity but it's also a liability. If you don't have a stable paying job, you might be serving that car instead of it serving you. Marriage? Yes marriage is good but it's a dang money-gulping venture esp since you're a man. Please OP the population of Nigeria is 160 or so million. It makes no sense to add to the number of the 140m living on < $1. Don't eat hot food in haste and scald your tongue making yourself unable to eat it even when it cools. Consider your own peculiarities and make your decision regardless of whatever expectation Family, friends or society have of you.Best comment so far.....! |

rman: Can it be done? YESHey bro.....why not read thru d thread properly b4 u start running ur mouth.....! |
ITbomb: It takes approximately 500m to get a kilometre of road through that terrain . Port Harcourt to Yenegoa is about 131km meaning u can get the entire road under 70m. Rivers state get like 15b per month from fed allocation n Bayelsa something close to that. If they can contribute 1billion per month, they can get it done.First of all, thank God u said approximately 500m 2 run a km of road across d terrain.......my question is dis do u know how much it takes 2 sandfill where d proposed route would pass thru, not 2 talk of d bridges.....if its dat easy, why is setraco having a hell of a time wit d already existing east/west road......its easy 2 quote em figures but go 2 d field & see d challenges dat await u.......I aint saying its not possible 2 construct em link roads....but it has 2 be a joint effort......joint effort here means FG & d state govt. |
ITbomb: Bayelsa and Rivers have one of the highest Allocation yet do not have a standard road linking the two sister states. Am sure u don't know what it takes 2 construct a road in dat region......it's easier said than done.....! |

Just remembered another question....if a fast moving sports car and a bowling ball fell off a 100ft cliff at the same time, which would hit the ground first? |
Nella: Am a chickCongrats.....lol |
Ha...ha....ha.....d question is quite confusing though....and it got me racking my brain like mad even after the whole session....d 1st guy with 132 ans (todaynatoday) is right. Each delegate will shake eleven people in turn......and then you multiply eleven by 12....simple. |
Hey guys I was asked dis question during halliburton interview a while ago......twelve delegates were invited for a meeting and the twelve of them shook hands with each other....now the question is how many handshakes were exchanged in the meeting? |
The best way to leave together both Christian and Muslim is to learn how to respect each other religion.. Disrespecting prophet Muhammed or publishing that may aggravate tension among us should be prohibited.. Imagine that nigeria journalist in 2002 uttering rubbish, that Denmark cartoon about prophet Muhammed, that Pakistan Boy that fled to uk for protection that wrote the satanic quran, the burning of quran by American soldiers and now the recently air uk TV comic about Islam was greeted with wide spread of critism from Islamic clerics n followers this scorn and disrespectful act towards Islam should be stopped and must be stopped... Learn to respect Islam and accomodate Islamic teaching in ur Christianity ways that way we will all live happily...
mevisbleek: U don dey give them ideaYoung bloke....if I understand u correctly...are u saying we should clap 4 ur so called brothers dat have carried d sword 2 kill an innocent dude working 2 put food on d table 4 his family....I guess u and ur religion need 2 relocate 2 ur own planet where u can bomb and kill urself's as u wish.....u should be ashamed of the likes of ur animalistic brothers and ur so called religion...... So these mumu Nigerian leaders were waiting 4 Ogoni people 2 make noise before they do what's supposed to be done.....useless set of old men....! ![]() |
Jiah011: I agree 100%!!! I made a similar post somewhere. If one's parents emigrated from their country and their children are born in a new country, those children born in that new country are citizens and people of that new country by nationality. Their heritage is elsewhere, but where they are born and raised is their home. Nigeria had nothing to do directly in forming those athletes, so why do they feel obligated to claim them? With all the corruption, tribalism, bribery, materialism, lack of institutions, etc, how can great athletes, or even other people striving for greatness with real raw talent survive in Nigeria? Not that people are not successful in Nigeria, but it's hard to do it based on sole merit and hard work. If you have money and connections, it's a lot easier. It's always North vs South, East vs West, Politics, titles-- "Who you be" or "Do you know who I am?" Enemies of Progress. A nation that eats their young by refusing to invest in them to foster a brighter tomorrow. It takes a lot of dedication and investing in talent to refine it to greatness. At least these other countries have provided means to create world-class, Olympic athletes for it people, including those of Nigerian decent. You can't say that it's an issue of just being a developing Nation, because others nations in this category are being successful. Nigeria loves to boast about itself, but what is there really for us to boast about? A lot of talk, but nothing to show for it. Let these athletes be. They are not obligated to represent Nigeria simply because of their surname. They are representing their respective homes. People of all countries travel and make new homes for themselves. Why should Nigeria be any different? It's hard enough representing a country like Nigeria that has such a negative reputation internationally. At least these young people are showing that not all Nigerians are bad, even if they are not directly competing under Nigeria's flag. THANK YOU! Well said!! The hypocrisy of some foolishe Nigerians is more than appalling! Did anyone notice the comments of one of the hypocrites Mr.chippychappy, who still found a way to inject a tribal slant into this topic? Look at the comments he made on non-Ibo sounding names and Ibo names and it is as clear as day what he is hinting at. Foolishness like this is why Nigeria will remain a country to be embarrassed and disgraced because even Nigerians are prejudiced towards their fellow country man! How can people so divided win anything or become significant as a people? Impossible! The same Olympiad basketballers who people say bad things about did not get any benefit from Nigeria, they don't live in Nigeria, they don't work in Nigeria but still trained and spent themselves for YOU, yet anyone still had the mouth to say something bad about them? These people deserve nothing but praise! Nigerian governments recently was embroiled in a scandal of $8.6 B, most of which was stolen by less than 200 individuals led by Odechukwu. That is over a N 1 Tr, yet no functional institutions, organization or sporting infrastructure. Where I live here, there are basketball courts, tennis lawns, skating rinks, football fields, etc for any body to go and sleep there practicing if he wants and come home at midnight if he chooses! These are not stadia, event centers, gym, or have any staff. Just you and your friends or team to knock yourself out! Did those places grown from the ground without any effort? And these places are walking distances to your house spread all across the city but Nigerian leaders will steal all the money meant for these things and pay 40 lapdogs from their tribes to keep defending their insanity yet you FOO.LS want to win a medal? God punish you (if he has the time)! My kids are going to be wearing non-Nigerian colors most likely, just like a lot of others here but Nigerian athletes in Nigeria who are potentially world class will lose because you have already won your gold medals in praise singing, 40 lapdogging, tribalism, empty chest beating, cassava breading, etc! Useless idio.ts abeg commot for road make I go cheer my other serious country! @op.....God bless u my brother.....Thruth like rain don't give a damn on who it falls on.... |
"OS not found" is likely a hardware problem. there are times it would work and time it would not if you keep restarting your machine. if that is the case of your, i feel its a failing hard drive but if you think its not, i would suggest you check the cable connectors and maybe try installing a fresh operating system.
@ skywalker.....Yes u are right on point wit d diagnosis....at tymes it starts up quite normal but after a while the bluescreen appears n it attempts to restart....I have been trying to reformat the lappy and install XP on it but it does'nt recognise the hard disk drive even with the new one.....anyway will still keep you posted......thanks. |
