You were told based on the "correction attached" to ignore Police character certificates at the initial stage by CIC?

You were also told to get your credentials notarized by CIC?

That is contrary to what is stated on the checklist and experiences of others?

You are strongly advised to include your police character certificates when sending your initial application even though you can decide to send this much later when requested by the CIC. Note that this is compulsory and not optional.

It is absolutely unnecessary to notarize your credentials except when they have been translated from another language to English Language. You are only required to notarized the copies the credentials in their original form.

Please guide yourself with the checklist and don't get people confused by claiming "experience" here.

You should understand that this is a public forum and you will not want to deliberately misrepresent facts and give them the colouration of genuine facts based on "correction attached"

Well like I said again....based on my personal experience with cic........I am saying what I know.....and how I sent my app...this was not 2 far .....just last yr .....since u feel I too know......will quietly stay mute n watch u guys do ur thing..........I wish u all gudluck in ur quest.

Like I said based on my personal experience.......I had my app rejected d 1st time with sum corrections attached 2 it.....worked on d corrections made and resent it which got accepted.


I was favoured 2 have d corrections attached 2 my app cos not everybody gets such favour.

Hey fellas......av been silently following dis thread 4 a while now...and I think I'll have 2 chip in one or 2 to educate u guys based on my experience......

First u have 2 ask 4 God's favour 2 cover ur app......

IELTS or other language test compulsory...with a minimun overall score of nutting less than 6.0 in all categories...(Reading,writing,listening,speaking)....IELTS o

Police report not necessary 4 initial application except explicitly stated.......which I doubt it is........they will first of all accept ur app n then give u further instructions



Work experience compulsory....u need 2 support ur app with confidential letter of recommendation from ur place of work... stamped signed n sealed.....accompanied by ur supervisor or immediate superiors complementary card with a valid email address n phone number....



Photocopies of credentials must be signed and stamped by a legal personnel or notary public.

Passport photos must adhere strictly 2 stated specifications......with full names, height, eye colour clearly handwrittten behind........

Six passport photograph of each family member included in d application form...

Residential history from 18yrs old must be explicitly n clearly stated in d app form...


Academic history must be explictly stated as well.......

Travel history must be explicitly stated in d app forms as well.

Acc statement must accompany ur app.........photocopy not accepted.......acc statement must be endorsed by d issuing bank.


Original IELTS result must accompany ur app.....photocopy not accepted.

Recently introduced foreign Credentials recognition as well.......(Didn't go thru dat though)......

Check thru d canadian website....go to press release u will see d approved listed occupations eligible 4 migration.....check if ur career choice is among those listed......then u need 2 take IELTS test....with an overall average score of 7.0 (reading 6.0, writing 6.0, speaking 6.0, listening 6.0) the original test result must accompany ur app docs.......and recently introduced foreign credentials recognition means u need 2 have ur credentials accessed by the canadian approved authorities before filling ur application.....the approved authorities are listed on their website......

Dude 1st u need 2 meet d standard no of yrs of wk experience at least 4 ur chosen career.....(very very necessary), u need an acc with regular cashflow 2 show u've been working as u claim 2 be, u can support ur acc details with evidence of shares purchase or whatever (stock shares or whatever they call it), u can ass well support ur app with evidence of landed property...that is if u have landed property.....if u including landed property aaaass part of ur suporting docs .......u should be able 2 convince d canadian high commission as per how d property will translate 2 part of d funds dat would aid ur travelling,relocation, n settling down in canada...d deal is dat u should be able 2 comfortably cater 4 urself pending when u get a job over there.......


In my opinion if u have up 2 between 3m-10m....u gud 2 go with prayers backing ur apps as well o........

What present Rappers fail 2 realize is dat rap is an artistic combination of beatz rhymes and poetry....early rappers of d 90's did it 4 d love and passion of the art.....but present day rappers do it 4 d money n fame.....all well hiphop/rap music died & got buried a long while ago......though some underground kats stll keep it real......black hippy crew(jay rock,Kendrick lamar, ab-soul & school boy Q) gives me a reason 2 listen 2 present day rap music.....90's rap remains timeless......!...way back in d 90's d competition was stiff....ur game had 2 be really tight in order 2 be relevant...but now...there ain't no competition.......Mc's n fem'c's....had 2 fight 4 their bragging rights....but now it's all bullshit......!.

One more thing to add to the OP's post. Once you've satisfied yourself and have made your purchase, take the car to a very repuitable mechanic to have it thoroughly checked out. And there is a component that most mechanics say has to be removed that reduces the temprature of the engine(i've forgotten the name. Any of you guys can help me out here). this component usually makes the engine fan kick in once the engine gets hot. PLEASE DO NOT AGREE TO THIS. This component has been programmed to make the fan kick in when the engine gets too hot. If it is disabled, the fan will just continue to blow and this will put alot of stress on the engine of the car. Those that manufactured the car know why they put it there in the first place. At least we as humans will not put on an AC when the weather is very cold, will we?

I guess u talking about the thermostat.....anyway its major function is 2 regulate d heating system in d car...basically 4 temperate regions.....but in tropical regions like nigeria....d thermostat might be d root cause of overheating in car....dats why most mechanics always advise that it should be removed......had it removed in my car and not given any troubles so far....3yrs running....!
