Ryan Giggs has given his verdict over who is better between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, insisting that while he would always back his former team-mate, the Barcelona star is a "once-in-a-lifetime" player.

Lionel Messi has been informed that he is the winner of the 2023 Ballon d'Or according to family friend Alessandro Dossetti.
